It is really annoying trying to catch Steelix with him around, when he's got a Chatot that uses Heat Wave on the first turn. It'd be nice if there was some sort of mode you could toggle, between "Set" (prepped and ready for battle) and "Standby" (does nothing for the battle) in order to facilitate the capture of Pokemon whenever you've got a Trainer with you. By yourself, it's okay, but with a partner, you double the chances of finding what you're looking for, while getting a free heal every time you've finished. Link to post Share on other sites
Kamu 60 Posted January 3, 2018 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Yeah I found 7 shinies while out with Taka and he killed 5 of them I had to begin KOing his team in order to catch stuff I wanted. It's not too big of an inconvenience though it's only against Steel-types that he uses a move that can one shot, and if you KO the Chatot he will send out Gliscor which probably won't OHKO anything else in the desert.
