( Smeargle , Mareanie , Shuckle , Phanpy) - Changed my name to Perish Song. ( Thats my new smogon name) - Made preparations for EP 18 now complete, prepared for egg moves for certain pokemon. - Themes now will have explanation , click to the pokemon names in the uptade threads to read their analysis. - Bunch of new weekly puzzles has been added. Next week's theme will be mega pokemons!!! Analyses : Spoiler Spoiler Has access to stealth rock, having good hp and defense stats makes it a good stealth rocker. It also has access to other utility moves such as toxic, rapid spin and knock off, as well as ice shard priority and earthquake. Here's a sample set Donphan @ Leftovers Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def Adamant Nature - Rapid Spin - Earthquake - Knock Off - Toxic Spoiler Has very good defenses, access to sturdy and both sticky web and stealth rock, making it a solid lead pokemon. It also learns encore,toxic and infestation so can be used as a stall pokemon aswell. Homewer it is a passive pokemon to use so certain pokemon can use it as a setup fodder,needs to be used carefully. Here's the sample set , Shuckle @ Mental Herb Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 SpD IVs: 0 Spe Relaxed Nature - Sticky Web - Stealth Rock - Encore - Rock Tomb / Toxic / Knock Off Spoiler The true Jack-of-all-trades learns everything you need! Sleeps enemy pokemon with spore, can set up rocks, spikes, tox spikes and webs and annoy your opponent to fullest. Homewer it is not sturdy as the other pokemons listed above so it dies quickly. Best used as a suicide lead Smeargle @ Focus Sash Ability: Own Tempo EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Sticky Web - Stealth Rock - Spore - Nuzzle Spoiler Toxapex is an amazing wall with good dual combination, easy to support , has good defensive typing , has access to baneful bunker and can recover. Also having recover makes it one of most feared walls in game, it also may help its team by laying down toxic spikes. Toxapex @ Black Sludge Ability: Regenerator EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD Calm Nature - Scald - Haze - Recover - Toxic Spikes What are Entry Hazards? Spoiler Entry hazards are a fundamental element in the competitive pokemon. Their capability of damaging pokemons in every switch limits the effectiveness of endless switching and pokemons without any reliable recovery needs to be used more carefully, as stacked hazards may wear down your team very quickly. So, what are those hazards? Stealth Rock : Rock type based hazard , base damage is 12.5 . Rock's type effectiveness applies on pokemons so x4 weak pokemons takes 50% damage from it, while x4 resist takes around 3. Spikes : Ground type based hazard, base damage is 8,3%. Can be stacked 3 times, reaching to 25% as final damage. Hits same to every pokemon, flying type pokemons are immune to it. Toxic Spikes : Poison type based hazard, applies psn/tox conditions. Can be stacked 2 times, one layer of spikes applies psn status while 2 stack applies tox status. Sticky Web : Bug type based hazard, reduces speed of grounded pokemons. Flying pokemons,levitate users and air balloon holders are unaffected. Sticky web is an important hazard to outspeed scarfers in the opposing teams.
