Soft reset ditto

I'm at the blacksteam factory right now and i'm SF for a perfect IV Ditto(or close to perfect),but is that possible in the first place?

Should i keep that ditto or should i continue SF?

I suppose it could be possible, but you're probably more likely to get struck by a meteorite.

I SR for Ditto on Desolation and I managed to get a 31 Atk and 31 Def Ditto, so I just had to stop and keep that one xD

 

I got lucky, though. I only SR like 3-7 times for it:

I don't know if you realize that the probability of getting perfect IVs is astronomically high.. More than one in one billion iirc..

The exact chance of a 6x31 IV Ditto is (0,9x10^7)%, to be a bit more accurate =3.

In this game ditto isnt a good breeding source, you need to get really lucky for a 2-3 IV, to get 6 its almost impossible as Huend showed. You just need 6IV males of each egg group and breed with those.

Only genderless pokemon you need a good ditto (or a lot of luck)

 

My advice, keep that ditto or SF for a little better one (not recomended) and get 6IV males, get them from shops, auctions, etc... then you can just breed from one egg group to another, trade them for another 6IV male (because of the OT) and then breed more

 

I started like that, I got my first 6IV by myself and then just traded to get more
