It's pretty silly how, because you can't just give the kid the money to buy his own ice cream, he'll just camp in front of the vending machine until either you buy some later from a different vending machine or one of your pokemon picks up some ice cream off the ground somewhere and you give that to him. I mean, the machine is right there! I don't understand how anyone, even a little kid, could not see the easiest and most obvious solution here.
