RoseGoldLaugh Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 Hello, I have played through version 8.1 before and I'm on my second playthrough. Right now I'm at the part where we meet Florin and Flora in Darchlight Woods and I must have just sped through it all willy-nilly the first time I played. Now I realize from the dialogue that there is a possibility that we have already met them before, because Florin remembers our name and Flora suggest that we have spoken to them before. It goes on to say that we look like we don't know what they're talking about and that they're probably mistaken. I just want to make sure that I'm not tripping-out. I'm pretty sure we haven't actually spoken to them before this point but I might be wrong. Does anyone remember speaking to them before, or is this just something we have to see development on in future versions?

I imagine it'd be something that makes perfect sense when you think about it but is easy to overlook (which could be why there haven't been (m)any ideas on what it could be, or at least that I've seen).

Maybe... Maybe we changed the future a little by staying in the past and do something we do not remember?
Lorac Posted November 21, 2016 Posted November 21, 2016 No, we surely haven't met them before, so they are either mistaken or met a version of us from another timeline I don't think we met them disguised, because what would be the point of revealing themselves like that(and without giving any context, by the wat)?

Or someone will dress up as us and do that in the past in the future Gosh, you're right, I didn't consider the other way around. I could have been someone disguised as the main character! Now I am even more curious to know what the heck was that about. The game didn't show us that scene for no reason.
