Try to use the site veekun.com, it has lots of filters for your searches, it even provides to the public their database and also their source code to download for free.

I recommend using this link to make the gen 1-3 pokemon, then just add all the sinnoh additions (and sylveon) manually.

These are great links guys... I think these work for a lot of applications however, I am specifically looking for replacing the pokemon.txt and tm.txt in essentials which only contains gen 1-2 or gen 1-3 and then I can edit that out. My game, Fuji's Tale is going to take place 50 years before Red's world, and so Fuji will only be able to discover the first two generations of pokemon along with the pre-evo's and megas that come later.
