Well, that depends. For my Electric-type monotype run, I'd say my Lanturn (my starter), my Rotom-F (seriously, ice-type coverage is godly), and my Eelektross (who took out Hardcore Solaris singe-handed and is a symbolic representation of my protagonist from the poison-type monotype I lost when my hard drive crashed).

For my PU-only run, I'd say Phione (my starter), my Leavanny (for sticky web support), and my Wobbuffet (seriously, that thing was banned to ubers for several years for a good reason).

Finally, for my ongoing Psychic-type monotype run, I'd say my Delphox (my starter), my Swoobat (calm mind + simple = bad time for your foes), and (when I get it) Metagross (because pseudo-legendary).

Honestly for me I can only definitively name one I will use.

Sylvion

The only reason I choose sylvion is because ever since I made (what I thought at the time to be a mistake) and let my little cousin play on my computer and he evolved my eevee I was saving into sylvion that Pokemon has been a dominating force against a good majority of the trainers I have faced.

And the only reason I can only definitively pick one is cause not one of us (except maybe you know who) has any idea of the field effects we will have to overcome.

Hmm...

1. Blaziken-Speed Boost coupled with Blaze Kick and Sky Uppercut leads to high damage at high speed.

2. Gothielle-The ability Competitive will make it's attacks unimaginably strong.

3. Golurk-My all time favourite Pokémon. How could I not?

1) Drapion - I never thought much about this Pokemon until I caught one as a Skorupi in Reborn. It's quite the tanky powerhouse with decent Speed to boot. Toxic Spikes made the Luna and Terra fights much, much easier and the Poison/Dark typing comes in handy. It's one of my new favorite Pokemon now.

2) Gyarados - Because sometimes you just need to steamroll the competition. Dragon Dance plus Moxie? Yaaaaas.

3) Metagross - Gardevoir's my main Psychic-Type, but I have Metagross in rotation since I lack a Steel-Type in my main roster of six. With a wide variety of moves it can learn, Metagross can handle a number of situations on the fly.
