wytch_doctr Posted November 11, 2015 Share Posted November 11, 2015 (edited) Heya all! I'm gonna be doing a Randomizer Nuzlocke of one of the best Pokemon games - Platinum. Gen IV Hype! The abilities, movesets, opposing Pokemon, items, trades, STATS (not BSTs) AND Legendaries are randomized. (Legends randomized to other Legends) TYPES ARE NOT RANDOMIZED. I'm not ready >.< Anyways, it's my first Nuzlocke, so I'm going easy and doing a normal run. I get way too attached to my Pokemon in games :3 Clauses: 1) Duplicates Clause - No dupes can be caught, can get another Pokemon from that area 2) Shiny Clause - Can catch a Shiny regardless of area 3) Trade/Gift Clause - If I've already caught something in a route/city but there is a Trade or Gift Pokemon available there, I can get it regardless. 4) Event Clause - Not sure if there are Event Pokemon in routes but I can catch them regardless Also, I'll be doing a Set battle style run, since the rules aren't as harsh as usual. Well, here goes! The Beginning why not? Anyways, as always.... Hello, Prof Running shoes? No..... Yes! Running sho.... No? Does that mean Barry has running shoes? Bro. It was all him. Don't involve me, yo. Choose My Starter! The moment we've all been waiting for.... PORYGON 2! HEATRAN! HOOTHO.... oh. I take that back. Stats are randomized! It could be an physically insane Noctowl with stuff like Flare Blitz and Wood Hammer and Double Edge with Rock Head. So please leave any suggestions below and also vote for my starter! This is going to be interesting. I have also picked Hoothoot, as it seems to be the most interesting option of the three and I also have never used one. And also because seeing you use a Porygon2 without evolving it is just sad. That aside; for some reason I can't see the screenshot and only see the file name. Trade evolutions and move-based evolutions are changed in this - so if I get a Dubious Disc (emphasis on IF, the items are completely randomized) I can level the P-2up while holding it, and it'll become P-Z. But I still want Hoothoot :3 That aside; for some reason I can't see the screenshot and only see the file name. Have you tried refreshing? It sometimes does that for me when the internet is bad... Otherwise.. Dunno I picked Heatran because I can't say no to a free ledgendary! Free Legendaries are nice... but imo it's a little cheaty. This episode will probably consist of my finding various Pokemon in and around Route 201, 202 and Lake Verity. So let us begin! Note: I'll be not referring to the pictures too often as some peeps can't see the pics for some reason >.< Oh yeah, I chose Porygon 2. It was the highest voted, and it can evolve in the extremely common circumstance where I get a Dubious Disk. RIVAL RUMBLE Time to tussle with our old pal Barry Yes, I chose Porygon 2. RoboDuck on the loose. Hey Barry... you look like you shat yourself... He has the Heatran. Of course. Pory's moveset: Weather Ball, Dizzy Punch, Screech and Mud Slap Heatran knows Draco Meteor. OF COURSE. AND CROSS CHOP. OF COURRRRSEEEE. Well. That was fun. It doesn't count yet, cause I haven't gotten Pokeballs. So Barry gets the better of me... this time. Misc stuff. Just some things that happen during the way to the Prof's lab. Pory's stats and ability here too. SUCCESS!!! RUNNING SHOES!!!!! LOVE YA MAM That Mesprit sounds like a damn Kyurem. Pory's got that stank. Really special oriented. It's speed tho... ;-; First encounter on 201 is a Beedrill... no Pokeballs yet. Bro, Rowan. you GAVE me that Porygon-2. Why are you surprised that it's evolved? Sure you're not on some Shroomish? Porygon... I christen thou.... RoboDuck! Does Slakoth's Truant get absorbed by a nearby Pokemon whenever it evolves? #PokeConspiracyThat defense stat tho.False Swipe, Aqua Tail, Night Shade, Pluck.Might use false swipe to catch my next Pokemon, on route 201.Well, here we are on Route 201...Beedrill. Could be worse.I False Swiped it until 1HP.. and it proceeded to use up all my remaining 5 Pokeballs.Sent out RoboDuck to savagely take this thing's soul with Dizzy Punch.Well, both my Pokemon leveled up. Put Em Up learned Camouflage for Night Shade.Look at that SpAtk stat tho. Route 202 Madness! And we get this totally not redundant Pokemon catching scene that is compulsory. Great. I agree, Lucas. That Bidoof was not dead enough. Onto the encounter... Jynx. Not too shabby at all. I send out Put Em Up Fire Blast?! I didn't Screenshot it, but IT WAS A CRIT. RIP Put Em Up. E1-E1. Yeah. Get caught, you little Santa Ho *Names Jynx Santa's Ho" >.< Technician is nice actually. Really nice. :3 Great stats.... woot Twister, Fire Blast, EXPLOSION and Icy Wind. It could have went Boom and killed itself. God damn, I guess I got lucky. Team so far! Stay tuned for the Next Episode! It is way superior to other hosting sites. 2) Sometimes, when you get the direct link to an image from your hosting site, it doesn't end in the image tag (.png, .jpg etc). Instead, there is something afterwards (for example .png?1). Make sure that the link you insert when the "insert image" command prompts you for an URL ends in the image tag, removing anything that comes after the .png (or .jpg or whatever), otherwise the forum won't recognize it as an image and return a broken link. Problem is, I can see every single image perfectly, and I know that there's nothing after the .png . Will the Prygon2 be staying or considered dead? Pory is staying. It was the Rival battle, and technically the Nuzlocke begins when you get your Pokeballs. Plus I wanna keep the Porygon :3 Also, I finished the process of changing all the pics to imgur ones. Please tell me if they work or not. Thanks! It does literally 0 ;-; And Rock Gym... my team isn't ready. You'll see. EPISODE 2 Heya all, and welcome back to this Platinum Randomizer Nuzlocke. Last we left off, we caught a Jynx, failed to catch a Beedrill and Truant Breloom got killed. Anyways, we are now on Route 202, heading for Jubilife. Route 202 We are traveling through the Route, and fighting a few trainers along the way Before we begin, Prof Rowan gave us Dragonbreath. Tempted to put it on the Technician Jynx.... Just if I run out of Potions. I'm really low on cash The second Trainer battle... and RoboDuck almost dies. *gulp* THANK GOD I didn't give Jynx the Dragonbreath TM..... AAAH!..... Jynx is tanky af bro. That did almost half. Now we're finally at Jubilife! and what does Lucas have to say about all my hard work? Fish, Fish, Fish. But first, Looker What an odd fellow. Ahem, swiftly moving on... We get the Old Rod from a Fisherman (who could've guessed?) and headed to Routes 218 and 219 for some quality fishing time. "Whatchu lookin at" What's with these Ice Types knowing fire moves? Blast Burn Glalie?! A relatively easy catch. He looks like a basketball. And I'm really bad at nicknaming Nice stats... good Physical Def and Phys Atk... and can't be burned with Water Veil. Sweet. Next up, Route 219 Nice! Something that can actually evolve! Haha. Yeah, it was somewhat easy. Then I got a Potion for all my hard work. Barry gave me his extra Map too. Now I can see exactly where I couldn't catch/killed my encounter! I have to admit, the Poketch is pretty cool. But the annoying thing is to have to come back there every damn time to get a new app. Speaking of encounters, I present... Blaziken. I splashed my cash on Pokeballs so I have 5 Pokeballs and one Nest Ball that I found. "Now I can see exactly where I couldn't catch my encounter!" That was a waste of $1000.
