As of Episode 14, all abilities go in a set path via Ability Capsule. For example, in the case of Clefable, to get a Cute Charm Clefabe to become Unaware, you would require two Ability Capsules. One to turn Cute Charm->Magic Guard and one to go from Magic Guard -> Unaware.
