Smokey Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 For some reason, I can't figure out how to break the glass in the Spinel Gym. What do I have to click to be able to break the glass? Quote
SkyRunner Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 You need a Pokemon with Rock Smash. For smashing, press the key that acts as your A button. Quote
Smokey Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 I have my rock smash pokemon at the front of my party, and pressing A doesn't do anything. If I try using rock smash byselecting it, it just says "can't use it here". WAit nevermind. Figured it out, thank you! Quote
SkyRunner Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 No problem. Do refrain from double-posting in the future though, and since you're new here, you should introduce yourself at the Grand Hall. Quote
TinyTantrum Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 You gotta SMASH IT ps You have to break it where the symmetry is off or else you'll get ALL KINDS of glass in your face Quote
BlackMage Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 You gotta SMASH IT ps You have to break it where the symmetry is off or else you'll get ALL KINDS of glass in your face I never figured out how exactly to find the correct one (I had to watch a YT tut)...seems liken I'm horrible in symmetry . bepe Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I had the same problem, I only ever noticed one of the changes so I broke all of them until I found the right one. Quote
Lord Chespin Posted July 19, 2015 Posted July 19, 2015 I never figured out how exactly to find the correct one (I had to watch a YT tut)...seems liken I'm horrible in symmetry . I think that in the first one, one of the chairs is facing the wrong way; in the second one, one of the plants is a different color; and in the final one, one of the tiles isn't reflective. I may have gotten the first two mixed-up, though... Hope that helped! Quote

XxSilentWinterxX Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 To be fair, I had no idea how to even get through the puzzle, so I just destroyed all of the places I could rock smash. It required many trips to the Pokemon Center though. Quote
bepe Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Same here, losing the health was a cool feature but sucked to have to keep going back and forth from the pokemon center. Quote
Administrators Amethyst Posted July 23, 2015 Administrators Posted July 23, 2015 im so disappointed in all of you you're hurting your pokemon Quote
Kurotsune Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 how dare you do this to your pokémon they trusted you Quote
Masquerain Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 I'm proud to say I did in the end manage to find even the 3rd room's symmetry break. That said, it's really not hard unless you're really lazy Quote
SnideAsides Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Is there a break somewhere in Serra's arena too? I realise there's no point, but it's interesting that you can Rock Smash the back walls and each pillar in there as well. Quote
Masquerain Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 That's a good question, will have to look at the room the next time I face Serra in a playthrough .. unless anyone has pictures of the arena O: Quote
Lamona Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 Inb4 a casual trainer attempted to break the entire mansion. Quote
Masquerain Posted July 23, 2015 Posted July 23, 2015 http://gyazo.com/5751613405645301e7e6fa744e482355 Judging from this pic, the arena has no real symmetry to begin with.. Quote
