How to update Pokemon Reborn?

Maybe a noob-ish question mates but...how can I apply the new update to my current playthrough??

For the new episode, all you have to do is simply download the zip file, open it, and run it.

There will be a new folder in the .zip file, just extract that folder to the desktop. In episodes past it was easier to either A. delete the old folder, or B. drag the contents into the old one. However, this is no longer necessary because the newest episode folder is titled with its episode number and hence you can keep both on the desktop or in whatever location you desire at the same time.

I tried to update my file, but I can't seem to figure it out. I need this patch as when I try to battle one of the gym leaders, it keeps crashing before the battle can start. When I use the updater thing, it just says it can't find the local version. How do you fix these? I'm sorry if I'm breaking any rules, I'm just desperate to continue my adventure... P.S: I've already done made a different thread, you don't need to be rude @Kaernin.

...I just now realized what I did wrong in this thread, and this'll be the last post from me on it. To @Katernin, Sorry for what I said to you. I'm also sorry for posting period on this thread, it won't happen again on my part. Oh yeah! My thread is titled"Unable to battle a gym leader".
