But: Tournament 12 will be themed to ban all items! What does this mean? Rules: -Each competitor will register six Pokemon species by the restrictions below. -Battles will take place 6v6 Singles -The Tournament will be held in Double Elimination (this is open to change if people have a strong preference for single elimination or round robin) -Other clauses are left for the players to decide match by match Restrictions: -Pokemon in Reborn's Uber Tier may not be used (for now, this includes Wobbuffet) -NO ITEMS MAY BE USED. At all. On anything. Ever. Registration PM species names to Ame no later than Sunday, March 20th [b]Unlike previous tournaments, we will no longer have a set meeting time.[/b] Instead, I will post match-ups, give you all a week (or shorter if everyone finishes quickly) to find your partner and battle. The battle will not count if you do not post the log in this topic. If no battle is held, it counts as a loss for both players. The first round will begin on Monday, March 21st. Hosted by MTGXerxes, [i]the [/i]guy who got my into competitive play and watching it on youtube. First round my guy flaked on my so that was sad that I didn't get to battle, but cool since I survived the first round. Second round found out I was against FrostyPixie and just thought fuck. But I won! That made me think I could do this tournament. Aaaaaand then it lost steam from too many people flaking and was never heard from again. But hey, I beat a very prominent youtube battler so I was happy. I'll probably be lazy and just register the team I used for that tournament. This is why I hate weather with every fiber of my being, and imho should be banned from our tournaments so we don't see [s]weather[/s] the same people's strategies winning over and over. What's the point of themed tournaments if [s]Bullet[/s] the winners do the same thing anyway, just altering slightly to accommodate the theme of the tournament?
