Of course its rather easy, because it's not balanced around having top tier pokemon (which the entirety of your team are). While doing EV/IV with debug mode i think is fine since all it does is saves time, cheating good pokemon, moves and items for the beginning of the game seems like a terrible idea to me.

hmm.. Have you ever tried set-battlestyle? You lose a lot of momentum. The regular filler trainers are rather easy but the boss batle's such as the "battle me requests side quests" become quite difficult. Still it doesnt really matter it is what you make of it in the end.

  2. Hi!

Just sharing this for fun and to hear your thoughts on this!

I love rejuvenation and have not comepleted the game so far (played till 5th badge or so). I just started a new run to see the V13 release. I'm playing this run a bit different and I think its a lot of fun so far. Basicly Set-Mode means that the battlestyle has been put on set, so the ai can just switch in whenever it wants. This adds difficulty that has to be met by team configuration. Walls, supports etc.. now are essential for now one has to sponge hits from the ai. Beside the battlestyle, the difficulty is set on the hardest option.

To compensate, one uses debug mode to attain a full party of 6 to their likeing (I prefer no legendary's), along with items, IV's/EV's and move's that are normally only accesible by breeding, tm's/hm's or tutor etc.. (but only legal move's). The gameplay is rather fast because one can focus on battle's instead gathering items/mons. It also feels ballanced because the ai has the same perks going for it. This mode, therefore, trade the gathering and progression aspect of the game for fair battleing and a feeling of completion for the player now has a cool and well functioning team from the getgo! :).  If gathering/grinding is not your thing, this mode might be fun for you!, or not, but thats fine :D.

I found that the game feels rather easy up untill the level 25 cap, after which here are some challenging battle's to be found.

    My team:

Torracat is a def wall, honedge spdeff wall. Breloom sweeps with sd and mach-punch, lyanrock revengekills, mamoswine serves as a wallbreaker and crobat is the lead/pivot.

  3. Heya! I just beat Venam and am on route 2, My rockruff is lvl 24 and about to evolve. I was wondering if it can evolve into a dusk-form without the own tempo ability? I dont see the lady that trades it on the pier anymore. It is possible to edit the ingame time. Currently it is only 5 am so I cant test the 5pm timer yet!

Well you can get EV cards from the very beginning loL. You just need the AP points ( which are possible to grind out. )

Also IV upping does exist for a price :)

Oh, I thouht in V13 that the EV cards were handed out later in the game. But thats good, we can just grind (or cheat) the AP points at the start and then its all good :). Still I think it would be better if the rooms were free. When do we get the "IV ups"?

  5. Hi!

I want to make a suggestion on the way to train or up IV/EV in reju V13.

I think one of the main features of pokemon Rejuvenation is that we use weaker and lower tier pokemons in the start, and unlock higher tier pokemons as we progress in the game. This allows for the experience of putting together teams to beat the game and make the best of what we have.

However, some pokemons are useless without propper EV/IV spreads. For example, a Weezing can be a decend wall in early game, but not when the EV is put onto attack/speed. To use Weezing (and pokemons alike), EV training methods are required. Currently the EV cards are obtainable only later in the game, and the gained EV's have to be reset first, in order to re-train, which requires unlock of certain berries (also later in game). It would be (in my opinion) more fun to be able to train EV from the get-go, allowing a lager variaty of team options. Also, the EV training method should be in more pokemon-centers, because east-gearen city is not always reachable during certain phases. Catching new mons while "away" makes it that they arn't able to be trained properly.

For IV's, I think it would be awesome to be able to up these somehow (maybe with a key-item). This could be sold at the AP store or something alike. To be able to max out the IV's add's for a nice gameplay-goal.

    What do you think?

Yes, I used a mod to make things a bit faster. This one:

It doesnt' make the breed process for you, but it does fasten things up.

I also breeded a team of 7 mons that cover every egg group with 6  IVs. I can't remember which ones I used (I only remember charmander and spinda). That helped until someone traded me a 6 IVs ditto (hacked I believe) which I used to finish the breedings I wanted.

Regarding EV, I trained them myself, passing on Pokérus and using the power items to speed things up.
I also used these two links to help finding the better places:

    He how are you doing?

Would it be possible to share that ditto in a shared pc file?

Thanks! Im using that mod as well.

I started a new game. The team is doing great. Have to make a few adjustments later, when v13 releases. Thanks for all your help.

Totally understandable. After I finished reborn for the first time, I started building such a team for myself. It did hold up against Reborn and Rejuv. However, playing it first time with the available mons gave me so much knowledge about pokemon (that I didn't have) that building the team was way easier. Anyway, your playstyle, your decisions. The feeling of beating the game with the team you build since the beginning is awesome, I can tell you that.

That or I can provide you a SharedPC file, like the one attached, with the mons already in it. I'd like to point that this 'procedure' worked for me back in Reborn E16 and Rejuv. V10 (If I recall correctly), it may not work now, it's worth the try though.

As you named 5 mons, I took the liberty to put a sixth with a typing that I think you'll be lacking in your team. Also all those mons are bred with proper nature, IVs and egg moves but they are not EV trained. Anyway, they'll wreck the early game.

    Enjoy.

Well, sir, you are the real MVP! it worked. Thanks for breeding the mons and taking the time to help out. Currently I'm at 8 badges. I'l transfer and use this team when V13 releases aswell, should be fun!

For others that want to do this, I used the shared pc mod for rejuv: SWM modular modpack [E18.4.0] - Page 30 - The Mod Market - Reborn Evolved

And I placed dominion's shared pc.rxdata in the rejuvenation save game folder.

    He! Im alright, thank you.

Thank you (all) for replying. Personally, I dont care much for the hunting of mons. Prefer to have 6 mons from the start, to see how they hold up against the game.

I'd love if you could trade them with me. I would, then, need to download and play reborn, go online, trade you, and use the mod to share them with my rejuvination file?

What I meant was that I'd like to trade a dratini, somehow, to my gamefile

hey @lenny123 doing good? Welcome to the forum.

    What do you mean with:

    ?

Once I wanted to trade some bred mons from Reborn to Rejuvenation. I used SWM Modular Pack Shared Box in Reborn, saved the mons there and then substituted the file from Reborn saves folder in Rejuvenation saves folder. The only problem I had was that one of egg moves of my mons were changed, I guess some indexes are different for each game, anyway, someone here on the forum corrected that for me.

    Here's the link to SWM:

So, since online play is not available in Rejuvenation, you can trade a mon on Reborn and use this method to move it to Rejuv. But as bruhtonium mentioned, if it is the first time you are playing, I also suggest you to use the mons available through the game, so you can experience more of the gameplay. It will be harder but more rewarding.

Regarding the mons you want, I can trade (I think) all of them in Reborn. I'm not that active on the forum these times, but I'll try to keep a look on this topic.

    See ya~

i think you must be looking for a debug mode for rejuvenation. To my knowledge there isn't any version for v12 but debug mode for previous versions should work, if this is your first playthrough however I'd recommend using the pokémon you get through regular playthrough since it is a lot more rewarding and the developers intended to play it that way. Also debug is impossible to find, i think the original thread for rejuv got deleted or something. But do not fret most pokemon are available in v12, except dratini.  see this thread

Ah, ok. Do you happen to know what online play is? Is it possible to trade mons?/
