  3. Episode 1: A Voyage Gone Wrong (Part 1) It was a crisp morning on the Cruise to Celia City. Celestia woke up to the salty breeze of the open sea, but she didn’t exactly feel rested this time around. For some reason, the same recurring nightmare has been plaguing her, but never mind that! It is a dream, nothing more, nothing less. She then looked at the clock and scowled. She thought to herself, Arceus damn it, did I oversleep?! The trainer rushed to get herself somewhat ready and make herself somewhat presentable for lunch. She smiled and says, “Good day Ava! Guess it’s about that time to get the trainer card sorted.” Ava smiled and replied, “So, you are finally awake sleeping beauty! Yea, let’s get this sorted out so we can finally be done with this.” Celestia smiled and agreed, “You know it! Let me get this old thing up and running. Though, I’m not holding my breath on not bumping into any issues with it. This thing was annoying to try to get to work yesterday.” The trainer tried the computer up and right away let out a huge sigh. The computer froze… again. Afterwards, Scarlett entered the room and said, “Hey Celestia. Hey Ava. Um… are you still trying to get Celestia’s Trainer Card sorted?” The duo both replied at once, “Uh huh!” Ava then tried to reboot the computer and there was no such luck at all. She started to lose her patience and in a frustrated tone said, “Come on! Why won’t the damned computer work!” She then started banging on the computer to get it to work. Scarlett then says, “Maybe because you keep hitting it? Huh? Just maybe?” Celestia said, “Trust me, that won’t work on this thing. I tried to do the same. This computer just sucks.” Ava ignored both Celestia and Scarlett and once again, she tried to use blunt force to get the computer to work. Scarlett then said, “Stop hitting the poor thing!” Ava then said, “Wait! It unfroze! It’s working! Come on, let’s finally get your trainer card sorted!” -- TRAINER REGISTRATION BOOTING UP -- Right away the face of the Rosetta appeared on the monitor. For a moment, Celestia stood there starstruck by the face of probably one of her favorite idols. But then, she snapped back to reality. She thought to herself, This is just a prerecorded video, not the real Rosetta you idiot. Calm down. Right when the screen turned on Ava shouted, “LOOK, IT’S ROSETTA! I CAN’T CONTAIN MYSELF!” Right away, Celestia got to work on finally finishing her Trainer card. Everything was simple to do and it was a matter of time before the screen closed for a bit. Afterwards Ava shouted, “BYE ROSETTA!” Celestia didn’t have the heart to tell Ava what she told herself when she saw Rosetta’s glamorous face on the screen. For a moment, there was a bit of awkward silence as the group waited for the trainer card to be printed out. Ava was the first to break the silence. She said, “So uhh… Where’s your trainer card?” Scarlett smiles and says, “Ava, give the little computer a moment. Would you?” Ava frowns and says, “Hey, I’m the one paying Celestia to get a damn trainer card, so how about you just-” Celestia just listened to them butting heads and in the middle of the conversation, the trainer card finally decides to pop out. Ava paused for a second and says, “Oh… well uh, nevermind then. Great, money well spent. Now that you have got your piece of laminated plastic, can we go get lunch. I could eat a Horse.” Celestia’s stomach rumbles a bit. She sheepishly smiles and jests, “Even a Horse sounds delicious right now! I missed breakfast and don’t plan to miss lunch as well!” Scarlett’s eyes widened, “You two! You can’t eat-” Ava replied, “God! I can’t say anything around you can I? Okay, okay. Let’s go grab ourselves a CIVILIZED meal, huh?” Scarlett’s once again smiles and says, “Agreed!” Ava then snarks, “What a handful… We’ll meet you out on the deck where they dish up, Celestia.” When her friends take their leave, Celestia took a moment to make her bed and organize her things. For a moment she looked over the poke balls that contained her team. She didn’t really feel the need to bring them with her to lunch and she will feed them later. For now, she needed to feed herself. She walked outside and went towards the stairs, but then the trainer heard some commotion coming from Ava’s room. The trainer heard Ava shout, “Oh you little piece of…” Celestia frowns for a moment then laughs. It was probably that troublesome Pansage Ava was struggling with before they hopped onto the cruise. She knew Ava could handle it so she just decided to walk ahead. She looked around at the various passengers on the ship. So many of these people can be trainers! If only she was allowed to spar on the ship, she could hardly wait for a good battle. After some time, the trainer arrived on the deck and the first thing she noticed was a woman in a black and red talking to some people in black and blue. While she couldn’t accuse them of looking edgy since she had a preference for black and pink, at least she didn’t look like she was straight out of some cult. The trainer joined her friends and smiled though. Ava exclaimed, “I’m starving! Let’s get started!” Right away, Ava dug into her food as if she hadn’t eaten in hours. As everyone started digging in, Scarlett spoke up. She said, “Celestia, I’m so looking forward to showing you Celia City. The lights are bright, the skyscrapers reach beyond the clouds, and the city never sleeps! And Rosetta… you will love her if you get the chance to meet her.” Ava cuts into the conversation and says, “That is, after I’ve met her. Yeah Celestia, you will have to wait your turn. Sorry.” Celestia pouts and says , “We will see about that Ava! I may just decide to skip ahead of you!” Ava mused back, “You remember that I’m a gym leader as well. Right Celestia? I’m sure she will meet me first for sure!” Celestia replies to Ava, “Ok, you win this round, but I’m coming for your badge eventually! Just you wait!” She takes another bite of her meal and relaxes a bit. The thought of meeting Rosetta was definitely something she looked forward to, but she had to think small first. After the back and forth with Ava, she smiles and says, “I hope everything in the pamphlet is true Scarlett. It will feel good to start our journey in such a beautiful city.” What she declined to say so she doesn’t upset Scarlett is that under every beautiful sight there is bound to be skeletons in the closets just waiting to be revealed. Souring the mood with such talk was not her style and hell, lamenting about the world’s problems constantly doesn’t help anything. Taking action is what helps. As the group was eating, Celestia couldn’t take her ears away from the conversation at the nearby table. While she thought it wasn’t smart to just jump in and assume the worse, if something suspicious is up someone has to be the one to report it. Two people wearing black and blue was having a heated conversation with a woman wearing black and red. About some sort of agreement. The trainer asked herself, What agreement? This couldn’t just be a casual business agreement with the way things are going. The man said, “Ma’am, we came here on strict business to organise a truce with you and your people.” The woman also wearing black and blue added, “We could combine both of our goals! Be something bigger and better!” The woman replied to their offer with a simple, “Tsk, tsk. I don’t know why you bother. I’m not even here for you. MY current goals are far more important than your little brigade.” As Celestia was listening, she was trying to piece together what her actual reason was for coming onto this ship if it wasn’t for a meeting. She had a gut feeling that things are going to go incredibly wrong soon. The woman continued talking, “And for you to feel as though you could waste my time? I expected something better than words. Yet, you think you can get away with a pathetic truce? Hah!” The woman laughed a bit at the prospect of this supposed truce. She then stared daggers into the man and said, “Let me make one thing abundantly clear. We have no intention to work with you, ever. The only time we will interact with you at all is if you’re in our way and we need to remove you.” The man got up and slammed his hand on the table. He said, “How dare you… Listen, lady. You’re here to make an agreement. You WILL make an agreement.” The woman in black and red looked at the man and simple said, “Or what, hmm? I could get rid of the both of you this instant, if I wanted to.” Right away the woman with black and blue said, “Okay! Okay! There’s no need for anyone to get mad here. Let’s just enjoy our lovely lunch, hmm?” The man sat back down and just replied with a “Hmph.” When the conversation ended, Ava muttered, “Did you guys hear any of that…?” Celestia nodded and muttered back, “Yes, my gut is saying that something is up.” Scarlett spoke up next and muttered, “Some sort of argument. We should keep our distance from those people.” Ava right away whispered, “Agreed. Celestia, you might want to report this incident, okay? They don’t seem like people that should go unnoticed.” Celestia replied, “Well, we got a plan now it seems. I will be back in a bit. I’m assuming the captain may be in his office.” Scarlett nodded and said, “We’ll just wait here for now. Don’t take too long!” Celestia took her leave and headed up towards the captain’s office. It seemed this was going to be a long day. Hopefully, things work out so she and the others can get back to gushing over Rosetta and just preparing to see what Celia City has to offer.
  4. Episodes Season 1 Introduction Hello everyone! First thing I want to say to the developers as well as everyone else responsible for Pokemon Desolation is that this game is amazing and I got really into the storyline so far! Anyways, it has really inspired me to write a roleplay run similar to the others I have seen throughout these forums for other games. So, I give to you my Pokemon Desolation roleplay run. This is the story of Celestia, an orphan with a heart of gold that is balanced out by a healthy amount cynicism. One defining aspect of her character is her fixation with the many fairy tales and legends that are told to children. She especially seems to have a fixation on the idea of the Gallant Hero. Of course, she knows better that there are no true knights in shining armor, but one can at least contribute to making the world a less awful place. Right?
