If I may suggest a Trick Room strat against Lin and the New World, that could work fine to counter that speed drop.
-
The fact that Ice would resist to Water.
-
Always thought the same thing on Grass and Flying. The Water call would be great as well, with Scald acting on Ice types the same way Freeze Dry does on Water types.
-
Big fan of Ice type too, my favorite one. Too bad it is so mediocre defensively. Being able to resist only to itself, what a sadness... Game Freak could have put a Fairy resistance as of Gen 6, but did not. Such a shame, that one would make pretty much sense moreover.

Yes Lin is scary but. Has she faced a 31 IV 252 EV attack excadrill with 252 speed EV and the sand up? She will cry, badly, as her team is brutally torn to pieces and excadrill snips each head off her hydregon.
Lin will probably be battled on the New World field, which halves speed to each grounded Pokémon, so I think the best way to do it would be an Air Balloon Excadrill.
Edit : Yup I forgot it, no weather allowed on the New World Field so no sand anyway. Time to think of another master plan.

Just wait for G-Darmanitan, pure Ice hasn't said its last word yet (probably available after Damien though). If Glalie turns out Grass/Ice that might be terrible for the dude. Still fully hyped anyway.

Well so basically
SpoilerGlalie
is actually my favorite Pokémon (buck off
SpoilerFroslass
), my hype for V13.5 has already decupled. Can't wait to see its Aevium form!

For El I can give you most of his team : A double Trick Room fight on the Holy Field, with some Oranguru, M-Audino, scary Drampa, maybe some Porygon2.

Laura and Bennant, 12v6 on flower field, where it keeps on growing and their mons get crazy boost. Yea
Laura and El, for sure!

Speaking of Jan, what if Lin is actually like Terra's Sakitron?
-
V14 is gonna be the Nastasia's one I call. Best Xen admin, the hype is real.

Xatu would be very helpful as it knows air slash which is powered up by the field. You can catch a natu at amethyst cave
Everything is said. Xatu is by far the easiest way to beat Keta.

Good point on Bisharp and Crest Skuntank for Alice... the field does indeed boost Fairy moves. Maybe swap Thievul out for one of them? Yeah... I'd probably swap out Thievul for Bisharp. Skuntank isn't bad with a Crest, but Bisharp is kind of better - and Skuntank isn't much of a defensive pokemon, even with a Crest that removes the only weak point it has.
Not so sure now I think about it, Fairy and Dark and neutral against each other in the Bewitched Woods, so Fairy should not be such a threat for her.
-
Same now you say it. But obviously it will be highlighted in the main game as well.

Could be for Tesla indeed, but i also think we'll see it for another battle with groudon. So either Cera or maybe Indriad/Vitus who retrieved it ? Precipice blades creat this field on dimensional one, there's no way it won't be used.
As for the other field, Colosseum, any idea who this might belong to ? Probably someone with Zacian / Zamazenta
Not sure about that, all I know is this field gets me hype and makes me want to build up my boy Golisopod especially for it.

Lmao just discovered these two by error two days ago while I was looking for information on the Bewitched Woods. Now I'm just terrified by the Infernal Field. By the way I agree that we could fight Indriad/Vitus on this field as well.

Same, Crest Skuntank is good but quite a bit limited. I'd rather go for Bisharp as well.

I had the same reflection on a fight against both Allen and Alice in Oblitus. I was sending Grimmsnarl in Alice's team more than Allen's one though, it looks to suit more to Alice's personality, and also in order to give her a good option to get through Fighting types and a Bug neutrality. A Grimmsnarl for Alice, a Hatterene for Allen, mark my words. Also maybe a Crest Skuntank and a Bisharp, she needs some solid options against fairies if we fight her on a field buffing Fairy moves.
On Mega Sableye I couldn't agree more, it is perfect for Alice.

Just noticed the existence of the Infernal Field, all I have to say is, what the... hell ?
Guessing we are about to fight Tesla on this field in the Elite 8 battle, I am currently shitting in my pants. Like, is there a type on some field which is more broken than the Fire one on the Infernal Field ? Basically no weakness at all, of course no possibility to cheese with Stealth Rocks, obviously a Fire moves buff, and then a double-boosted Inferno which cannot miss, plus probably another free boost thanks to Blaze or Flash Fire... Indeed, what the hell is that ??
Can't say I look forward to fight her. Charizard, Houndoom with a double STAB boost (wonder which one of these two will be mega), Ninetales, Chandelure, Crest Magcargo (!!!!), Torkoal (let's go for another Fire boost with the Sun because why not), Typhlosion can all learn Inferno. Butchery incoming. :)

Snarl has uses on slower mons in some situations. Mind you less useful in this game since the AI will switch out if you debuff it too much, but you can play around that with hazards.
Yeah Snarl is excellent on mons like M-Sableye, plus it hits both of the opponents in double.
Darkest Lariat could be a possibility as well I admit. -
True, this is why I suggested that we would fight Bennett just before Laura on the same field, because that would be a waste if you don't fight him on this field considering his team. I remember the Mirror Arena worked as well for him back in the days. A 12v6 double against both Bennett and Laura could be salty as hell anyway.

Hopefully Parting Shot but I doubt Jan would grace us with such blessings
After checking the missing list I'd say Snarl.

On the topic of relationship points, i actually do believe that there will be an alternate endings to the game depending on specific combination of choices. I thought of this while looking over the allocation of points and reading more about this game in general.
So it must first be noted that reborn is a game who's characters are homages to actual, real people who acted as participants in an old online battling website . This includes , rivals, gym leaders and even some of the villains . However it may also be true that the main protagonist (Being you the player) are a representation of a member within that forum and thus a "true ending" would be obtained by making choices, in game, that the real person, who we happen to play as, would have made in those situations.
Another factor to notice is that "relationship points" seem to be of minimal value, and have invoked minimal consequences. However, the CHOICES that the charter has made, has tend to invoke much more significant outcomes in the game, namely giving Blake the key and fighting Taka at water treatment. The major outcomes that occur as a result of these choices are not due to any apparent value of relation ship points, just the judgement of the character .
This leads me to my final point, the choices necessary in order to make this true ending occur. Whilst looking over the allocation of points, one anomaly that frequently occurs is points awarded to Anna and Shade for choices that are completely unrelated to them. This occurs for things like beating the Garchomp atop Pyrous Mountain, finding all the police officers to reveal Corey in front of Heather and siding with Radomus instead of El. With this info and a little bit of theorising I have drawn the conclusion that be being awarded points from the two of them, being Anna and Shade, suggests that the you have made the choice that exactly emulates that of the person whom we pay homage to. Thus, by acquiring the maximum amount of relationship points with both Anna and Shade i believe that one will obtain a true ending to this game.
Sorry to get so unrelated from topic but had this thought and would like to share it, ofc i may just be goofy and there is no true ending at all. Nevertheless, I find it interesting to think about its existence and what it could possibly entail.
I think the relationship points will affect the postgame mainly, with nothing being irreversible. But yeah clearly there is something with Shade and Anna, as the game heavily suggests you that the correct answer is the one which gives you their points in your several choices.

Ahh maybe its not worth firing up then. Personally i hope we fight Bennant instead as he is quite literally, trash. I think it may end up being a split depending on what route was selcted as i doubt there would be an elite 5 with both laura and bennant.
Yeah it is a possibility as I said, and I don't believe either in an Elite 5. But I still think he won't be part of the Elite at all, because unlike Laura and the other three members, we already battled him, and twice, plus the Sapphire is now in possession of Laura, in both routes. I think we will fight him anyway a third time in an independent battle on the Flower Garden just before battling Laura, like he did with Serra and Luna.

wtb Protect TM for my horrifying zombie mushroom creature
Edit: come to think of it there's a lot of missing TMs:
Dragon ClawPsyshock
Calm Mind
Ice Beam
Blizzard
Earthquake
Protect
Toxic
Fireblast
Thunder
Double Team
Rest
Focus Miss
Giga Impact and Hyper Beam
Swords Dance
Gyro Ball
PuP Punch
Dazzling Gleam
and others I am probably forgetting. I look forward to when we get them, some of these moves would be nice to have. It is pretty challenging to not have them, but I want >.<
Dazzling Gleam should come after beating Allen, Dragon Claw after beating Damien. There should be a Dark TM missing for Alice as well, wonder which one.

Thanks for the compliment, that being said all I can do is trying to guess as accurate as possible what we are about to face, like everyone else. I cannot guarantee by any means that the Trick Room would be helpful against her, I sincerely doubt that would be enough in any case. also maybe giving the Rockium-Z to any of your mons and trying to take benefit on it in the optiest way, Continental Crush being field boosted. Or Darkium-Z even better, totally forgot Black Hole Eclipse receiving a x4 boost lmao (x6 if you add the natural Dark boost on it, x9 if you have a STAB, ahahaha). Nature Power abuse (hi prank Whimsicott) as well, into a x2 Spatial Rend.
