So I just ran into a shiny mawile, which I will probably fail. This is mainly because I haven't got my hands on any good balls, the best ones like dusk, never work when I need them, so I am stuck throwing love balls at it while it is at full hp hoping for a crit capture, is there a reason that critical capture balls seem to not work? an can I get great balls where I am now with 7 gym badges about to fight radomus?

Has anyone else noticed how freakishly strong rock blast it? It is actually ridiculous, here is an example you are fighting a toucannon, It has skill link, it uses rock blast, rock blast if it hits is now a 125 base power move with 90 accuracy with 5 times the normal crit odds, so landing one crit is about equal to every hit of this move critting. Now here is the funny part you know zap cannon? That strong electric move?Yep it has 120 base power and 50 accuracy. Is there something that I and sirius's rock blast spamming toucannon are missing? (mainly sirius) For the most part this is a joke, please don't take it to seriously, just wanted to express the struggle of sirius's darn toucannon 2 shotting me with rock blast. Guess what It has hit me with rock blast 20 times in a row without a single miss I confused it 4 times no confusion hit, It has crit with it 5 times in a row TWICE Please help this is literally killing me.

I have read up on the reborn pickup charts and decided to try and get a item from pickup, an ability capsule so I have been looking for about 30 minutes and did almost 30 battles and won all of them but got nothing from pickup, not even a full restore (the most common item for a pickup user level 91-100). is there a bug that prevents pickup from working properly? Or can it only be trainer battles? Or is it just way rarer than the main series games's 10%?

For the most part a combination of the ideas, Nidoking for earth power Meowstic screens Ampharos paralysis of dangerous opponents Rapidash Does well against the entire team, excluding toxa using high horsepower Clawitzer Does really well against salazzle and nidoqueen, killing them before things get out of hand Idk who the last member could be maybe the greninja as well?

Uh are you sure? My ampharos is level 45 unless I am missing a tm it only learns thunder wave at level 4 I don't want to go back that far but if it is required I will

ok I will keep meowstic despite finally finishing up grinding gothitelle and I have some light clay as well does it learn those before level 40? cause that would kinda suck, which one should I use? I know light screen will make blissey unkillable specially and reflect helps meowstic from getting 2 shot with knock off.

Sorry to quote the whole thing, I don't know how to quote small bits yet. Yeah but I like Gothitelle a lot more than Meowstic (probably a dumb opinion, but this is coming from mister I love Vanilluxe and Garbodor lol) not to mention my Meowstic has a pretty trash nature, I believe if I get a chance to change it to like modest I might switch it off, not to mention my Meowstic is slower than a lot of things I need it to be faster than often leading to easy 2 shots, but it did manage to help mith most previous gyms though so I might switch it back off but then I saw, all of Gothitelles' stats are better than Meowstics, except speed and it is modest so once we find a nature changer it can come back. Also I don't normally use luxray and Ampharos at the same time, they are just two options I tried to kill the Toxa, neither worked lol

what is with poison leaders beating the mess out of me? First corey now Aya I can't specifically say what I have trouble with as it is most of her team. Sludge Wave Toxapex does a crap ton (also always crits, is that a field thing?) to me Stomping Tantrum Nidoqueen keeps killing my Rapidash Luxray and/or Ampharos. Salazzle is fast as hecc for some reason. Drapion is also fast as hecc and keeps killing my Meowstic when I try to kill the Toxapex. And Dragalgae and Toxapex cleans up the scraps of my team left (So Greninja and Blissey [although blissey kinda gets oofed the entire battle]) This is my team and their stats and moves. Froppy The greninja ability: Protean Moves: Water Pledge Smack Down Feint Attack Rock Smash Stats: HP 128 ATK 102 DEF 60 SP. ATK 107 SP. DEF 80 SPE 137 Cybernetica The rapidash ability: flash fire Moves: Take Down Flame Charge Flare Blitz High Horsepower Stats: HP 123 DEF 74 SP. ATK 85 SP. So I just found out my new luxray is not only jolly but has guts AND a perfect attack IV that is amazing since this is a casual playthrough. despite this I am still managing to have trouble against an aster and eclipse battle... And I guess I could show the remainder of my team. Should I switch anyone off, I just beat kiki so I believe Aya is up next.

After that I am doing exactly that lol for the most part it seems to crash if press enter to fast to skip dialouge the only reason I could beat him was cause I was paranoid from corey and grinded straight to the level cap, lol It was sort of an over reaction but still I lost once cause I had my luxray missing 2 levels lol

I am casually playing through the game once, and I beat shade first try losing no pokemon. I thought that was cool so I saved, left the building and continued the story, I try to go to apophyll and my laptop dies, fine I think at least I saved, I reopen the game to find I am standing right infront of shade still despite saving. So I fight again I lose, then I win the next battle I forget to save and my screen like breaks it is only showing the top left corner of the screen I use d to quick save and I reset, I start up the game and guess where I am? the yureyu power plant... I beat Shade again and was about to continue until my grandfather forces me to fix a broken cabinet... I get back to my laptop and the game closes itself forcing me to fight him again. I do it again losing one poke and I get to his last mon, then the game crashes restarts leaving me in an unwinnable battle situation, I swear If I have to decimate him one more time I am going to leap out a window

So after fighting corey for like the 15th time I decided, wait what if I just roar out the skrelp, and kill the crobat first? I try this 7 times then the crobat comes out I use spark with my luxray, Watt who I know sucks because he is bold of course, and I use spark, It only does a quarter of corey's crobat's health I sit there dumbfounded at how little damage it does then I get oneshot the next turn by a venoshock which I expected, cause I was poisoned for one, and the corrosive mist field was up so I was screwed either way I manage to get crobat to appear again and this time I think what If I have my meowstic use psybeam on it I try that and it barely does half. then I get oneshot by venoshock again my issue was everyone in my team got oneshot by venoshock like once I was on my 2nd to last pokemon, He was on his last of course his was crobat, I used aqua jet cause it is faster than my entire team It looked to have 10-15 hp I hit the aqua jet which was stab after a swords dance cause he nasty plotted and it did about 5 damage. I then sent out my frogadier and used quick attack I got a crit and it left him with literally one hp. You don't want to know where my laptop almost ended up, (answer: out the second floor window.) is it just me getting minimum damage rolls every time on crobat does the field do something? Or am I just that unlucky?
