  1. So I wanted to finish up all the quests before I go to the circus and when I got to the Beldum event the healing machine is no longer taking my data chip. I've got a data chip in my bag but talking to the healing machine in Byxbysion wasteland doesn't do anything. Was the Beldum event moved or am I doing something wrong?

  2. While I'm not an expert I think this is caused by. In reborn the AI in reborn will prioritize using weaker moves on you if those weaker moves kill to try and preserve PP and rolls might not have ben programed in properly. Since you lived on 9 hp I'm assuming that was a low roll and a higher roll would have killed.

  3. So the reason it says wilditemrare is because it's the last possible data defined for the species the compiler went through and saw that nothing matched so it said that that's the error. I went through and looked at the formatting and nothing stuck out to me. If you've made changes to misdreavus I would undoing them and putting each one back in one by one so you know exactly which line is messed up. Make sure your commas and spaces are all correct as well that's a common mistake I make

Oh and yes section 455 means 455 in the pokedex, something about  misdreavus code is messed up

I recently opened pokemon Reborn up and badda bing badda boom I have access to debug now and I have no idea what I did to gain access to that. I have the PBS files of Reborn on my other computer but not on this one so I don't know what triggered this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Edit: I closed and reopened the game and debug is gone now I'm just extra confused

  5. So apparently I've been calling Ame candy this whole time. 16:46 is the time where he says the word. In the video he reviews people's Japanese and uses Ame as an example for a word that has different meaning based on the tonality of the word. Just thought this was interesting

  6. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA This man is so perfect just look at him-->  download.png.bd3c57aa5f05f58a909a161b33cd4428.png

Avery is so perfect in every way

In all seriousness GameFreaks design team for the people has been making some absolutely stellar designs this gen.

What is y'alls favorite human character/character design in pokemon? I think I made mine pretty clear. (I mean N is also hot too)

yeah i use graphics gale, and like, i'm still actively aware that there's a bunch of different outline colors in GG, since i'm usually copy-pasting a bunch of stuff from other different tilesets
but it's not necessarily worth fixing each and everything
but then later i regret it

so even if you're not upset

    i am

primarily by the unavoidable state of entropy that exists simply due to the passage of time

Yeah I get that, making sure all my tilesets all work together with each other has been a pain in the ass due to the differences between tilesets downloaded online

you're valid and i'm so sorry for everything

(although i would never want to actually use pure black since transparency eats that sometimes)

I'm not actually upset I just thought it was a funny oversight. I can tell you probably didn't use photoshop to make the tiles (oh and that's good to know about transparency)

Tip: If you have Photoshop, open up your tilesets in there and copy in those swatches you have in an empty spot on the tileset, then merge it with the layer the tileset is on. Grab the bucket tool, turn off anti-aliasing and contiguous mode, then color all those swatches you have pure black. Et voila! You'll have all of the outlines turned completely black in one go without having to do everything manually. Don't forget to remove the swatches later on though, lol.

I'm not sure if there's equivalents of this in other programs, but it's extremely useful to recolor stuff so I'd recommend finding a program that supports such a function.

Woah thanks yeah I'll try that

You know, I'm very curious on why you would search this information and how you came by it.  o.O

I'm working on my own fan game and I got permission to use some of her tilesets. So I wanted to design a new house and see what color she used to outline her building and that's when the madness started. Basically every black outline is slightly different so AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH.

  11. Ame you're great just want to make that clear but your tiles are about to give me an aneurysm. On just the tiles from Agate you used 6 different black outline colors that are all just slightly off from each other. 09090c 121317 0a090b 08090d 080808 and 17181c. All of which aren't actually pure black which would be 000000

  12. The gym can be swept by the combination of meowstic and ariados. Have meowstic set up a light screen then go into ariados set up 2 SDs then go for sucker punch or shadow sneak you'll want both on it in case of cursed body. When he goes into doublade your sucker punch won't 1 shot but it'll get it down low enough that he'll use a potion and you can set up a 3rd sd and sweep from there.

  13. Quote from bulbapedia as of USUM "The Move Reminder can only teach a Pokémon moves that its species can learn; they cannot teach moves exclusive to a pre-evolution. In particular, many Pokémon that evolve by evolutionary stone have a very restricted set of level-up moves in their evolved forms compared to their unevolved forms. For example, Eevee can learn Take Down by leveling up, but none of its evolutions can; this means that an Eevee could be taught Take Down by a Move Reminder (if it has the appropriate level prior to Generation VII), but a Vaporeon or other Eeveelution could not."
