I'm pretty sure that one of the patches for V13 was supposed to remove Venoshock from Venam's Mareanie's moveset since people were complaining about the difficulty and the new level cap for the first gym (changed from 20 to 15, then to 18 in that one patch)?? The changelogs to the previous patches are unavailable now, so I might be wrong.

It's the ability Merciless that was supposedly removed.

But who knows, maybe they reverted that when they increased the amount of options the player has against her by enabling many many more things to evolve.

They removed it for casual difficulty, not normal difficulty

Personally, i think it's a stretch at best. We do not know her mother. She was not an important participants in all 3 Yveltal appearances. While hair colour can change, her colour is light blond and it's natural, which shows in all her children. Also a little matter of her being currently dead. If she in the future somehow got out of Soul stone and came back, it still doesnt explain any of her actions and her attitude towards Melia, who she would pretty much consider her child.

    Spoiler

Anethea's hair is black, as shown in the cutscene of the revelation of the spell that made Vitus love her. I think the implication of the Archetype's power that made her hair blonde.

It actually does from generation 8, and i think it work normally her ebecause it increased the berry hold of many Pokemons like poochyena and rattata, but i think is not coded to work with Moon stone maybe

I did not know that. *Looks on Bulbapedia* Huh, neat

It might not be coded, or Jigglypuffs don't hold them anymore

It's the same with Cubone and the Thick Clubs

My theory is that Archetype was removed from Maria at some point and that was used to wish for Melia. I think this for 2 reasons.

She is the only one with Genesis Syndrome. It doesnt make much sense for a being who is summoned by Archetype to have such a disease. But if Archetype was forcefully taken out of Maria then it could have damaged the Archetype somehow. So when using a damaged Archetype to summon Melia she got Genesis Syndrome as side effect.

Another reason I think this is cause while scanning the Archetype it showed it was around 75 years while Melia herself is 18 years. Now the 75 years age could be of the Archetype rather then Melia herself. [...]

This is what I've been thinking, to be honest. Like, exactly. It's a bit scary

He still doesn't, no one does outside our group as that was not released as not to rouse the citizens and provoke Team Xen. The official report is that she was arrested for "possible connections to the black market and illegal activities."

I disagree that she had a nice facade.

If you talked to citizens of GDC a bunch of them will talk about how they're struggling and don't feel supported by her.

I remember getting particularly bad Cassandra vibes in the judicial district. One comment that stuck with me is one man in the judicial district who tells you about how Cassandra put up a bunch of non-functional buildings with no entryways even that are purely for aesthetics. That was one of the biggest red flags that told me not to tell her about Flora/Bladestar (and that part I still don't regret even though Flora let me down).
There was also the not-so-missing mom in East Gearen who had to give free haircuts to children and the homeless because of Cassandra (BTW, the V13 outcome of that quest is an excellent improvement IMO).

I'll grant that NO ONE could have ever guessed that she was Team Xen, even our group was shocked but she didn't make the best effort to disguise herself as a good mayor.

    Spoiler

I mesnt she had a good facade to to Florin, but Flora clearly saw through it. The first time I played, I got those same vibes tbh

  6. I'm kinda glad that the vaccine scene was gone tbh.

Looks like Isha doesn't get to use his revenge plan after all of spreading some deadly virus, causing a regional pandemic that would be just as bad as Storm-9.

This is why..  Personally, I think it was because of the pandemic and vaccine trust issues in real life that the scene was removed.

Wtf have I done?  I wasn't trying to say Rejuvenation can't be a more challenging game; I'm just saying that casual and easy mode(s) should be about as difficult as, say, your typical experience with an official title (though that's kind of loose, since even the official games vary somewhat in difficulty); no need to worry too much about getting the right natures for your Pokémon (abilities, though, should still be taken into account because some abilities are pants), no need to worry about EVs/IVs - no need to worry about being competitive when you're just trying to enjoy the game and the story it's trying to tell.

I'm sorry I turned this whole thing into a debate; I shouldn't have said a word - but, hey, what do I know?  I'm a filthy casual.

I think this debate would happen eventually.

get that rejuvenation's story is so interesting that some people who aren't into difficult pokemon games might want to play too. I think the dev team does plenty to accommodate, though.

Yes, exactly! This is why I love Rejuvenation so SO much more than Reborn [I mean I love Reborn but I rage quit at the Gauntlet in the Glass Factory] I feel Rejuv. understands not everyone wants to rage

it appears that casual gets tough near the end of the game.

It does *coughViviancough* Not impossible, though
