Squirtle should definitely be available at this point. I remember the event was pretty inconsistent at some point but I've never done it myself so I don't know if it's been fixed by now.
Hey Jaggi! Sorry to bother you once more, you've been helpful thus far, if I could get your opinion again:
I just got to Agate circus and have access to Clefairy/Clefable. Should I change out a mon' for her? Clearly there is some personal preference that is to be at play here but I just want your opinion.

Thanks for the link!!! Also: While there is nothing wrong with liking a weaker Pokemon, I myself am not attached to Seaking. Definitely want to make a switch just haven't had any luck finding squirtle during rain or shine at this stage (checked for squirtle during the rain the other day to no avail). I'll check a guide to see if im missing something----- EDIT!: found him. came back and for whatever reason squirtle is here now. Arceus just trying to humble me or something.

You can get a Squirtle from Byxbision after the gym there; a cave in Chrysola forest has an Eevee that you could evolve to Vaporeon; If you allied with Team Aqua you should be able to get a Carvanha by now (it's notable for having Destiny Bond as a possible Egg move); Azurine Island has Shellos.
If you can wait a bit longer North Aventurine Forest has Dewpider and 7th Street has Piplup.
OK: Seaking has been pretty good to me thus far, but in your opinion what should I do: I have shellos (and can always catch one with a better nature) and have a water stone from mining. Should I make a change?
Also: for squirtle I beat the gym there and talked to the squirtle guy while it was raining and after using strength went to where the thing was during a clear sky but it waste there. can you not get him until late game?

My first playthrough I used one and while its Lightning Rod can be great, its overall stats just dont compare with SO MANY of the gym leaders and Meteor bosses that you face throughout the game. During my last play through (which was also my first) I didn't do the side quest which involved you paying $500 for the "legendary Pokemon". I thought I was going to get a free magikarp/Gyarados before the first gym but obviously now the goosechase has lead me to having to wait until the 7th street is unlocked. If you've done that quest do you know if it is a Magikarp or something water type? If so I can replace Seaking then. Not in love with it but its been great defensively so far. Plus Seaking learns waterfall on its own early.

I think the earliest one you can get is Totodile but then again that's only after you get the badge for waterfall which, like you said, is around levels 70's or low 80's. Will probably go for Squirtle once I get late game cause I think its mega stone is simple to get.

Scolipede would be a strong upgrade to Kricketot available from Byxbysion that can also serve as a Batton Pass Support. Alternatively you could get a Yanma from Azurine Island.
Also sidenote: you can actually already EV train pretty easily at this point. You only need I think two or three stickers for the "Power" items to become available at the Dept. Store and the lv.5 Woobats in the first accessible part of the railnet make great grinding targets for anything that wants Speed. Fishing for Grimers at Coral Ward is similarly effective for HP EVs. (If your game tends to lag in outdoor areas you can fish in the building that has Amaria's boat in it once that's open.)
My Scolipede is killing it! Got maxed out EV's and is a button pass god with Jolly Nature+Speed boost.

Have swept through Julia through Shade but know it only gets tougher from here and want to know if anyone has team suggestions to make my team better! This could be a Pokemon you think I should go, find, and catch or one that I have that Im not utilizing.

(Note: They all have desired abilities such as Speed boost Blaziken and lighting rod Seaking, but if you are curious about specific information then ill give it but at this stage in the game I think its safe to say im not worrying about EV's until late game when you can reset them and grind.)

Hello Reborn family,
Chip Skylark here (you can call me Ham) and I am here to announce my retirement from the lurker community. In my retirement I will now post stuff at random intervals and despite the anxiety I get IRL from when someone leaves me on read, know I will always forget to check here for responses and will hypocritically leave replies unread consistently and without warning. I'm a mess.
I've made it all the way to the seventeenth badge a couple months ago and now that I know what the frack a Pokemon nature is, what EV's do and...oh ya...what base stats are, I am ready to do this again. Because college, work, and my families disappointment weren't enough stress. (But seriously only picked Pokemon that I liked growing up from gens 1 and 2 and four of my final Pokemon in my first play through included Venesaur, Ampharos, Golem, and Jinx (which now that I think about it may or not be a racist Pokemon) in case you wanted to know how interesting that play through was (I did a massive grind sesh late game and got different Pokemon.
Just saying hi and also am wondering how would a Filmmakers thread be if I created one here? Basically if you have a script you want read, have made short films before that need to be seen and cringed at, or just wanna talk about films you like, I'm thinking of making one on the general forums here unless someone wants to point out one that already exists. To the two ppl that read this thnx 4 making it to the end.

Thank you! Ive actually just today tried it again and beat the puzzle and venam. Sweeped her with Butterfree and psybeem/confusion on normal. Overall tho thanks for taking your time to help

Hello all,
Probably the dumbest question ever, but I'm anhour or so in to Rejuvination, the latest version, and am on the first gym. After solving the poison color puzzles I triggered the cutscene where Venam talks about her old gyms and then she says she'll be waiting but I cant find her. She's not in the gym and not in the sewers.

Unless you want other suggestions I suggest you a Gardevor, she has an always amazing Fairy type, a bit more defence, and an hidden ability fitting to play with Flygon's earthquakes in doubles.

I like your team but it doesn't seem balanced in terms of special attack and defence, I think Milotic learns Reflect though?
P.s. I know Alakazam is amazing but I don't think it's enough, and I don't know if Milotic is that good offensively in the game, she's pretty slow so when Alakazam CAN'T make a move she seems unrielable
hmm, you make a really great point actually. I've never in my life actually owned a milotic (that ive used in battle consistently) so I was really checking off a bucketlist
What would you think about a starting with a wailmer? Wailord seems like it would be a good defensive mon to have. Obviously the goal is to stay close to emerald pokemon but I digress.

Hello All! On my first playthrough right now and honestly it is a little jarring to face off of so many trainers with six OP Pokémon each late game. I've made it pretty far but because I was too scared to train more than 7 or so Pokémon at a time and rarely changed, my team late game isn't the best to put it mildly and I kind of want to start over. If it is not too much trouble I would like to start with a team I have below, the idea is that I would be a trainer who failed in the Hoenn league and went broke and thus is forced to go to reborn and get one last shot at becoming a trainer.

Hey all! I didn't know which file to send (or which specific forum to use) but one of the Crustle you are supposed to interact with on Route 2 is stuck. Valor Mountain F*ck up

Hi all. So im at the part where you get magma drift in the story. anyways im minding my own business, heading to the top of the mountain, when all of a sudden venam comes out of nowhere and tells me I forgot to rescue amber and I feel like I just skipped over a huge story section. is it possible for someone to put my character back a few rooms? I already saved at the top and I cant go back down because the crystals reset.
