Theres a girl there who said that they can't explore further unless the ice is broken. I used Earthquake and nothing happens. Any advice?

Not really. I mean for some event pokemon yea there is a few. You could take em on though early if you have the right movesets

the people that only have ... are the people you have to find. check inside the buildings and talk to everyone in the locations. in terajuma jungle for example in the building with the conkeldurr quest

well it kind of depends on what strategy you want to use. I have seen many people with more than six pokemon they use for different fights. Some good pokemon imo is Mr mime if you get the filter ability. Allows him to tank a few hits and set up screens. Rockruff is another, you can get dusk Lycanrock by trading a rockruff to a girl at the pier than just evolve it at 5pm-6pm
