what version of Reborn are you playing? I kinda remember an older version having a bug around this fight so if you haven't updated to E18.1 I suggest you do that
I remember the Penta-op having encountered exactly the same bug. Serious dysfunctionalities had occurred in Byxbysion Wasteland, especially during fights. The upload of the last version of Reborn had fixed this problem.
