I'm not sure if it's been changed in V13, but if I remember correctly, Luck shows up again on the route after the 9th gym with the traintracks, so I think you might get a chance to change it again there? If not, it'd probably be possible for someone here to edit your save to put you back on normal instead.

found luck on that route but he's not changing the difficulty.

  2. Spoiler

i was playing with the leagcy avatar with that black hiared guy that was avaialble in v9(i  started the game at v9). so after all the fiasco of puppet master and saki cutscene in chrisola hotel, when i came back to the underground base in sashila, my appearance changed to that of aevis. is there any way to get back my previous appearance?

  3. i wouldnt say i cheesed it but i'll tell how i defeated her.

    team

    dusclops : 252ev def/ spdef, eviolite

    a- 9tails

    luxray: 252 att, magical seed

    hydreigon: 252 spatt,speed, magical seed

    metagross: 252 att, magical seed

    talonflame

sent out dusclops and a-9tails. dusclops used trick room. ninetails for hail. switch out 9tails for talonflame. both died this turn. sent out luxray and hydreigon. dark pulse on chandelure, wild charge on corviknight. metagross handled the rest from here. aegislash can be tricky but it will die too

It is beatable, but regardless the same outcome would happen (I think?) if you win/lose.

Only way I beat her was with a Seed boosted Acrobactics from Talonflame until the Naganadel killed itself with Life Orb.

    Spoiler

what happened after you won? did it show that puupet master's plan failed?

  5. Spoiler

    The battle against clear under axis high . is it even possible to win? or is it meant to be lost?. if anyone did win, how did you win? i somehow got through to the naganadel and then it just kills without even me getting to do anything ;-;

So as we all know, the evil Melanie is somehow an alternate version of Melia. But that begs many questions. Most obviously, why is Melia good and Melanie evil? Also, why is Melanie completely unfamiliar with Melia's light powers, considering she's in a way more powerful position and would have found out about that by now? Why is Melanie only 7 while Melia would be about 15 without the time travel? And finally, why is Melanie such a genius? She somehow rules the world at age 7, and even outplayed Madame X! Calling her a child prodigy would be putting it lightly. And Melia may be clever at times, but she's no child prodigy.

But hang on a second, who else do we know that's a freakish child prodigy? That's right, Maria. And for the record, I think Maria was the entire archetype, and was split into four bodies--making Melia a huge part of her but not all. But I think Melanie is somehow a corrupted version of Maria (and her soul and Melia's are still similar enough that they managed to fuse together).

But wait, there's more. How did Maria turn evil, and why is she ruling the post-apocalyptic world? Here's a clue: in the "run away" sequence, she mentioned her father a couple times. The first was when she called on him to send the Yveltal to save her; the second was when she said "Father, I have lost" before being absorbed by Melia. Maria's father, of course, is Indriad. And remember that the bad future is one where Indriad straight-up won, with Storm-9 hitting the entire earth. And I doubt Indriad had simply wanted to destroy the world; he seemed more interested in domination (as evidenced by his actions in Wispy Tower). Maybe he's secretly in control in the bad future?

For that matter, I also think the Yveltal Melanie used also belonged to Indriad. Indriad's garb seemed to be modeled after Yveltal, while his counterpart Nymiera probably had Xerneas. Moreover, the diary in Sheridan Wetlands--presumably written by Madame X--references an unnamed man spying on them with an Yveltal, and planning to use it to destroy the world if defeated. That could only have been Indriad; how many other male non-Xen affiliated villains are there? So I believe Madame X's Yveltal came from Indriad, while he still has it in the doomed timeline and is using it to help Melanie. All of this is to say that Indriad seems to have become some kind of god or shadow ruler of the bad future, and is using Melanie as a puppet. A "Marianette", if you will.

And speaking of Marianette, why was Indriad making her do all those crazy trials in Chrysalis Mansion? Could he have been training her? Perhaps preparing her to rule the world under him? This also explains why Melanie has no superpowers and was caught off guard by Melia's; Indriad did not awaken them while training her. This was probably because he knew she could use them to overpower him; and even as his puppet ruler she would lose her dependence on him if they awakened. After his trials, Marianette would be able to rule the world with her intelligence, but remain subservient to him.

So in summary, my theory is that Indriad's goal with Marianette was always to make her his puppet ruler of the world. Melanie is a successful result of that.

you may have just cracked it...

    Hello !

In the Sheridan Westland, I fought a machine using a Shadow Beldum, and according to the Pokemon Location Guide, it's possible to catch it.
So where did it run away ?

go into the saves folder and find the save just before you encountered beldum. delete the most recent save(named as game.rxdata) and rename that earlier save as game.rxdata. beware that you'll loseall your progress since that moment. but i guarantee you its worthit coz that beldum has saved my ass alot in the game

That would be OP. I think it will only apply to some of them, like Misty, for example

i checked the pokemons who could learn defog and the ones who learn it naturally, we get them late in the game and that amount is only 6 excluding galar poke(10 including) . the others need to be breeded or taught by a move tutor.

  9. so if it was a big landmass and it broke away, then the borders are certainly dont need to exactly fit into each other. and the breaking up off the island would have resulted into new  landmasses on the broken up islands. so what i'll suggest is that you start from whatever we have in past and try to fit the present into it and not the other way round.

oh and btw, i looked into the voidal chasm and the boat there says gregorian so we definitely know the location of gregoarian lake and its even close to zone zero(present)/hiyoshi city(past). take this as your reference point and try to extrapolate the other places from this reference. you definitely are onto something and i'm loving your posts

  10. okay so:

    1) try changing the field. coz that would stop the activation of floatzel's swift swim.

2)if you cant chnge the field then know that the field boosts electric type and water type moves base power by 1.5x. try getting coverage moves on your pokemon. thunder fang for houndoom, try searching other moves that you can get access to for other pokemon you have at this point of time.  and so floatzel's moves hit harder and he's damn faster than you in this field.

    3) check if you can use sunny day+ solar beam combo coz your pokemon can take advantage of that but dont remember if you get the tm for solarbeam at the point hwere you at.

that i would suggest is change the field. or stack upon coverage moves.

They got eiscue, which takes absolutely no damage from the first Physical attack it takes, and can repeatedly restore this trait every round if it's currently Hailing (which Angie's fight has on by default), effectively making it immune to Physical attacks, as well as Galarian Darmanitan, whose Ability is literally a built-in Choice Band that stacks with other Choice Items (and is being a bit of a terror on comp. ATM. as a result). And then there's the Arcto-fossils, which sport a 75 signature attack that doubles in power if the user outspeeds the target, plus Slush Rush to ensure it actually does so (It doesn't help us that both Angie's preferred weather and Field Effect activate Slush Rush). Arctozolt seems to be particularly nasty because it does bring in the rarely-resisted BoltBeam Type pair (i.e., Electric and Ice) in its STABs alone. I'd be genuinely surprised if none of these monsters made it onto Angie's team!

Ice also got Mr. Rime, whose signature Ability would actually hurt her (I don't think any Ice trainer would be fond of destroying their own Aurora Veil, ya know?), and frosmoth, which... I'm still on the fence about in regards to how actually useful it is in this context. It might be the most aesthetically fitting of the bunch for our psycho frost maid, at least?

as if angie wasnt frustrating already
