She doesn't need to go that fast, they could probably fly back to the city like we always do. The ground issue doesn't really matter in my opinion, we can fight with fire-type pokemon literally underwater. And well it is true that Sirius could do those things, but why didn't he do them to the main character then? And well even the wild Whiscash swimming in the lake could have defeated Sirius and his grunts, I don't think it would have been impossible for her (what if the meteor grunts were actually killed by the Whiscash lol). But all these considerations are beyond my point, what I wanted to say is that she had other options but she (as Titania did later) chose the "easy way" so that she could forget her opponents were human beings.

For example, she could have: A) used her Dragonite (who can fly at supersonic speed according to the pokedex if we want to consider it realistic) and any other flying dragon she might have to take her family if not everyone in that house to safety B) defeated Sirius and his level ~50 team in a pokemon battle to scare him and/or the other meteor grunts; I suppose she could have even defeated the entire meteor army singlehandedly if she had wanted

We must not forget that she hasn't won a fist fight in years now (the blind girl's mom mopped the floor with her and Victoria was clearly winning before they were stopped). To be honest I expected the skilled soldier to be able to overpower the housewife so good job again because that time you made me root for Vanilla.

It must have passed a long real life time and/or a long reborn time because I don't remember if Vanilla and Victoria (it's been so long since I played Reborn that I had to check Victoria's name) were on good terms, I remember they had a battle shortly before or after Kiki's death (when Vanilla was still insufferable). Sudden thought, the appearance in the story of worse characters than Vanilla (Titania and Saphira) might have made her look more human than her initial self, or maybe it's just her character development, in any case you're doing a great job Candy.
