Well, I remember my team being around 45-50, maybe a bit higher?

I lost my save for the game sometime around July or so. I believe I was right after/at the Poison gym, maybe a bit more. I'd need to look at the ingame map. How far was I? About how much catchup in hours do I have to get about to where I was at, and are there any Pokemon I can use that will make the journey back that much quicker/less painful?

yeah i've seen shellos a few places also by type doubling I mean not having two pokemon the same type lol it just is how i've done things for years lol

actually it was more like I wasn't ready to go back to Ultra Sun and the new Touhou Puppet Play Purple version isn't quite out yet so i figured what the hell i might as well screw around on Reborn again

it was a lot of praying blaze kick would hit aya got a lot easier because of the team shuffling earlier in this thread

I swept serra b/c i opened with Whiscash using EQ to break the mirror lol

Too lazy to post an updated screenshot but assuming my team is now Klinklang, Blaziken, Crobat, Meowstic, Cofagrigus, and Whiscash and I'm right after the mirror shenanigans gym: What's a good replacement for Whiscash? If my hunch is right the random egg I got from the Police station looks like a Togepi egg so that's out as far as Azumarill is concerned I think.

Thank you for all the advice, I think I'll get something worked out soonish. I forgot to mention that I hate type doubling but I think I can work with these suggestions.

I mentioned this in another thread but the Wasteland gym is wrecking my crap hard. I think now's a good time to give up on the team I'm rolling right now and make some serious changes so I can progress with the plot. Suggestions are welcome.

oh yes because i don't like this overly complicated for pokemon field effects mechanic i am automatically crap at the game ha ha ha oh wow pokemon shouldn't be about savescumming 5+ times for a badge fight just because I'm using pokemon I feel like using instead of optimal crap what parts of the game I wasn't getting reamed by field effects were a lot of fun but I've just gotten to the point where it's not a fun game anymore and I don't feel I should have to train either another team from scratch or continue having to savescum to continue onward.

How the hell is anyone supposed to get past the damn Wasteland gym? Field effects really need to be re-balanced, the last few gyms or so they've been totally unfun and bullcrap to the point I've started persuading people not to play this game actively.

But common candies are money that could be spent on other things that aren't a mechanic I don't really care for. (Insurgence is [thus far] the only thing I don't like about Reborn) However I have to wonder if the other plugin thread's plugins could achieve a similar result by fiddling around with stuff.

Is there any chance of the old Insurgence patch being updated for this new patch format?
