You have to find all of her illusions then when you try to go into next city (via north where there is a door/gate around the tracks)she will appear and.ask you to not go to the city. If you refuse ahe battles you.

    GOOD LUCK!

I really cant find her... i saw her next to the tracks and now dont know where she is, i looked everywhere...

  2. Is it a way to beat this at the level 25 cap? Why would you make such a quest? Its not funny, not clever, just bullshit. You get teleported and most of the times theres already a kecleon lvl 100 in front of you, i just dont get it why you felt the need to make a quest like this. If anyone knows a way, please tell me. I hope theres not more quests like this ahead of me because they make you want to stop playing.

I'd advise you to lead with a fast Pokémon that can learn rain Dance, such as Crobat, alongside any Pokémon that allows you to quickly KO her Typhlosion. This one is dangerous because it knows Grass moves. Once it's down, her first means of dealing with Water types is gone, so you can safely bring out Clawitzer to replace whichever of your mons died first.

After that, spam Water Pulse on everything. STAB'd, rain-improved, Megalauncher-boosted, item-boosted Water Pulse OHKOs all of her her team, even in the super-heated field. Just make sure to spam potions on Clawitzer using your other mon's turn. By the time the rain ends, you should have largely gained the upper hand.

Mismagius is my fastest and its lvl 67 but is still slower than Darmanitan and Typhlosion, i probably need to get another mon to use Rain Dance. Im getting a Rhydon or Donphan to use instead of Magneton or/and Torterra and Clawitzer will destroy ahahah, thanks!

I did exactly this in my first playthrough as well. "Kill it with fire" got a whole new meaning.

Edit: I chose Cyndaquil as my starter, so I had access to Eruption quite early on.

I did not choose Cyndaquil and i did not get him in 7th street, but its a really good strategy, thanks!

Rain is definitely a big help as it directly cuts the power of fire moves. The fire moves will still get a bonus from the superheated field which is the message you were seeing, but it will stop the field combusting, which would then give them an even larger boost, on top of activating things like blaze and flash fire, giving them an EVEN LARGER BOOST. Basically having rain is really helpful. I hear Heatproof Bronzong is available nearby and makes a good support pokemon for the fight. If you bought/rescued cyndaquil from the 7th street dealer, you can also use the slightly unorthodox method I used on my first run of sweeping her with Typhlosions Eruption will all of those afore-mentioned field boosts

So the rain does something, i will surely have to use it then, i did not pick Cyndaquil and i did not get him in 7th street... and you cant go back after you get to the circus, it does not make a lot a sense. But i will find a way, thanks!

sticky web / toxic spikes are super usefull, i can give you my shuckle if you want.

it has stealth rock and sticky web

Its a really goot strategy, thanks a lot for the Shuckle! But i think i will try to beat her with the tools the game gives me, but thanks anyway!

You might want to consider using Trick Room, depending on the speed of your team. I know Charlotte's team is rather fast, so this should give you a better chance

Its really fast, they all outspeed my Mismagius thats very fast. Maybe i will use Trick Room, thanks!

    17 minutes ago, Zargerth said:

Iirc you can catch Sealeo in Ametrine Mountain as well. Walrein with Thick Fat might be a good addition too.

Its a really good option, with thick fat it will cause havoc on her team, thanks!

catch a rhydon and a donphan on route 2 , and train them around 65 , it should be easy win.

I have to replace Magneton and Torterra so those mons seem very good options, thanks!

  4. So i read that Charlotte was really hard in previous episodes and that she got nerfed but she is still pretty hard to beat. I went to battle blind and my team its not the best , i have a Mismagius, Torterra, Magneton, Clawitzer, Arcanine and Medicham. The Magneton and Torterra are useless so i need new team members. Anyone can help me with a strategy or pokemon that are good against her? Also i used Rain Dance in a battle but it did nothing, all the fire moves were super heated so i dont know if its a glitch or something.

When you are down there head west and you should spot Bennet in a white robe. Follow him into one of the side alley's and talk to him. That should get you on the right path.

I looked everywhere in 7th street and didn´t find him... maybe i forgot to do something?

  6. So i beat Radomus and got to 7th street to look for Luna. I already beat Team Magma´s boss and helped Archer with the old lady in Lapis Ward. Now i dont really know where to go, i talked to everyone in 7th streetbut didnt find anything. Anyone knows what am i supposed to do(if possible with no spoilers please...)?

Aaaah, welcome to the pixelated hell that is Route 1. Since Gardevoir already got kidnapped, you'll want to push as far West as possible, until you encounter a big building. It's not very difficult, you'll just have to jump off some ledges and maybe use a Tauros 1 or 2 times. After you reach that building, go South. It's pretty straightforward, you only have to jump over a few ledges, no Tauros needed (in that direction at least). The route ends at Reborn City's doors and the story will progress from there.

It really is hell... there a lot better puzzles in reborn, this one is just confusing and time consuming. I think i got tricked then, i already got to the gates before the Gardevoir got stolen but someone told me i had to go south in the forest until i found a place where the storyline progressed... i spent a hour trying to find a way, thanks!

  8. So i got to route 1, i already know you have to use the Buffalants and Pinsirs to break logs, the Heracross to cut the webs and to ride the Tauros. Already went to the Vanhanen castle and the Gardevoir got stolen. I know im supposed to go south from route 1 but im really stuck i dont know how to progress. This puzzle is really pointless, its just time consuming, killing numerous pokemon, put honey in so many trees and killing more mons to get on and off tauros. Can anyone help me?

  9. 30 minutes ago, Octavius said:

Oh wow, yeah, this actually makes for a pretty dank trick room team. If you do go that route, definitely nab yourself a cofagrigus. It's a good thicc mon that can also be taught trick room.

I really like that idea, maybe i switch up Ampharos with Magneton, Sharpedo with Clawitzer and get Bronzong. Im going to look into that Cofagrigus, thanks!

    +1 vote for a Gardevoir/Espeon.

Also, if you won't be changing your other Pokemon for objectively better alternatives as suggested in the post above, I recommend getting yourself a Bronzong. (via trading or after getting the 8th Badge)
It would provide Trick Room support to compensate for the low Speed of other team members, resistance to Ice, and a Steel-type move to use against Ice opponents.

Really good idea, im tired of being slower than every gym leader, im going to look into that Bronzong, thanks!

    51 minutes ago, Octavius said:

Your team is actually pretty ok as is. Weak to ice, but seeing as you just beat Serra (that is the 6th gym, right?) you seem to be managing in that department as well. A dragalge might be a fun pokemon to add, though. Seems like that might fit your team nicely (and keep it weak to ice haha). Use a good rod off the docks at coral ward to catch skrelp. I believe you also have access to eevee at this point, so one of the eeveelutions might serve nicely you well. Espeon or Sylveon, especially.

Or you could seek out stronger team members to replace ones you already have. Darmanitan or Arcanine are available to you (for camerupt), heliolisk or magneton (for ampharos), crobat or noivern, or cofagrigus if you want a ghost specifically (for drifblim), and crawdaunt or clawitzer (for sharpedo). Just some recommendations! Check out the pokemon locations guide if you don't know where everything is!

And good luck with your run! Hope you are enjoying reborn so far!

I used Magneton and Onix to help beat Serra but i dont think Onix will be part  of the team. Magneton maybe because of the Steel type, thanks!

How about Gardevoir? I think you can get one now

Maybe, i have been thinking to add a psychic type, thanks!

    53 minutes ago, FactoryofSadness said:

You seem to have a tank team. Perhaps a Psychic type could help?

Its probably the best type to add, i have been thinking to switch up some members too, thanks!

  10. So i just beat the 6th gym and i have Camerupt, Torterra, Ampharos, Drifblim and Sharpedo. I need to add a 6th member because the game is getting harder and harder but i dont know who to add or what type i should add. Anyone can help me on what pokemon/type i should add?

If you're getting Out sped by Serra, something to note is that (correct me if i'm wrong but i'm pretty sure of this) in this game a lot of the gym leaders have good ivs/natures and partial/full stat ev investment.

It isn't necessary, but If you have the patience for it, ev training really isn't a bad idea in this game. Especially if you get that bothered by being out sped. Its like imagine Queuing up a game on showdown where your mons are using random evs, and your opponent got to pick his. It wouldn't even be fair. I was able to get through the game with minimal Ev training, but i also had a lax incense charizard for that gym, which got the same boosts her mons do. If you've obtained lax incense by now, I highly recommend you put it on a mon that is capable of sweeping. Especially if that mon has single target Special attacks, as they have a chance to hit anyway when they miss on that field, or a move like flash cannon that gets a boost from the field (basically put it on magneton.)

Always remember you can abuse your opponent's field effects too! It is very important to play around the field, for basically the whole game, but especially later gyms.

(As a side tip, Pure power medicham one shots almost everything, so if you feel like your team is lacking power, its not for this gym, but its a good pick up in general.)

I played pokemon when i was little and started playing again a while ago, so im not the best. Im learning but i still not know very well things about IVs and EVs no i try not to use them. If it gets really hard i will try to train them, thanks!

2 hours ago, GS BALL said:

Did you try using Earthquake? I think it destroys her field. Next to Shade's gym, in that cave, there are many Phanpys and if you are very lucky (very slim chance), a wild Donphan of very high level with earthquake already learnt, appears! Train that thing and there you go!

My Camerupt and Torterra have it, but they get one shot, i will try to get a Phanpy, thanks!

    2 hours ago, Zargerth said:

Like mentioned, if evasion hax gives you trouble, destroy the field with Earthquake. In addition to Donphan, you can use Graveler (or Golem). Sturdy guarantees you land the Earthquake.

If your Sharpedo has a nature that decreases Speed, (and Jynx has EVs in Speed), Jynx will outspeed you. Both of them have base Speed of 95, so even the slightest increase or decrease can give you the advantage or disadvantage.

You could try Shell Smash users as well, like Magcargo or Barbaracle. Magcargo is very slow, so chances are it's slower even after one Shell Smash. Scarfty is good too, it has respectable defenses and it can have egg moves like Drain Punch or Dragon Dance. Moxie boosts it's Attack power upon each K.O.

I looked into the speeds but Sharpedo has a speed boosting nature, so the JyNX should be EV trained. I will try to change my team, thanks!

Yeah, Imagine me, Mr. has only ever played competitive in his entire life, coming into reborn. "What is this, a trubbish? A poochyena? WHAT IS THIS PU TRASH? The fun of this game is using weaker mons because you have to, and sometimes, growing an attachment to them. Or getting carried like me because Medicham was my ace

Im not that good but i never played a pokemon game this hard ahahah. I played some rom hacks but they weren´t so hard or they had good mons to use. In this game you have to use different mons and use strategy. I will look into having a Medicham ahaha, thanks!

Catch a klink on the railnet , train it into lvl 50 to evolve it on his final form , and he will solo Serra. Don't quit because of this :/

Im not the best, i played pokemon when i was little and caught the bug to play again in about a year or so. So i heard this game was harder and i wanted a challenge, but this gym is really grinding my gears. I will try to use the klink, thanks!

Sera has ended more than a few people's runs through reborn. my idea would be a new fire type that's not part ground? Maybe Chimchar or something if anyone has one they can spare?

I will try a different team, im not the best but i heard this game was a little harder and wanted a challenge. I think the game is supposed to be played with different pokemon so im trying not to ask op pokemon from others, but thanks anyway!

    2 hours ago, Pμrple said:

If really you can't beat her , just tell me , i will give you somes mons able to do it , but it will so much better if you win on your own

I had problems with other gym leaders, im not the best but i managed to win with some strategy and different teams. I think this game is supposed to play with different mons you wouldn´t use so i will try not to ask for op mons from other people, but thanks anyway! I will try to beat her alone.

uh uh! couldn't resist being a smartipants, sorry

You could try using an Arcanine, it's a very useful and powerful Fire type

I will try other fire types, Camerupt is part Ground so is almost one shot, thanks!

  13. So im at the 6th gym, the ice type one, i had a Ampharos, Torterra, Sharpedo, Camerupt and Drifblim, so i had to get new members. I got a Onix to set Stealth rocks and a Magneton because it resists and Flash Canon uses the mirrors so its really powerful. I still cant beat this, i set the rocks, beat the Cryogonal with the Magneton and he gets to 80% health. Then the Jynx, faster than everything on my team (dont really know why), i paralyze it with Ampharos, even though the stupid evasion (you guys really made a gym where they use this BS) and kill it with Sharpedo. Next the Vanilluxe, faster than everything again (75 base speed, again, dont know why), i kill it with Sharpedo and Magneton. Then the stupid Glaceon, i know he has high Sp. Atk but he ONE SHOTS MY CAMERUPT AND MAGNETON, Magneton resists with 80% health and gets one shot, how am i supposed to beat this, they all get boosted evasion, i miss all the time, have coverage for everything. If anyone can help me i will be much appreciated bue im really close to quit this game, im not that good at pokemon and wanted a challenge but im getting sick of this. Help is needed.

  14. So my team is Camerupt lvl 49, Ampharos lvl 48, Torterra lvl 46, Sharpedo lvl 47 and Drifblim lvl 46. I get to Serra and everything outspeeds me, my Sharpedo has a speed boosting nature but still is slower than a Vanilluxe that has 79 base speed. Everything has coverage and, for Ice being such a weak type on defense, i cant 1 shot anything with Camerupt´s  Lava Plume or Rock Slide and he gets 2 shot by Frost Breath that always crits. I dont know what to do. The speed thing is really infuriating, how is speed boosted Sharpedo slower than Jynx and Vanilluxe?? He is really fragile so hes useless if im not faster than anything. Can someone help me?

If you sided with Team Aqua, you should get one for helping them out. Other than that, I'm not sure.

I sided with them and did the first quest, but they got me nothing, do i need to do more quests?

sharpedo is good if you joined team aqua if you joined magma i think you need to get the good rod for it

Do you know where to get the good rod? Do i need to progress more into the game?
