  1. Not much of a forum guy, even though I have posted on here a few times, mostly to get help so my sorry self could beat this game (and Rejuvenation). I also wanted to thank you so much for the work you guys put on this game for 10 years. I discovered Reborn in 2015 when I got back into Pokemon but wanted something different from the main series, had another full playthrough around 3 years ago, loved every minute of it. Have been following the process for E19 for years, excited but patient, and I can't believe it's almost here. I hope I someday have half the passion and work ethic you guys had for this game, for something in my life. Once again, thank you so much.

  2. So I've been hearing about this rift being the easiest one but I've been having some problems. He is stupid tanky and has that dumb op ability, he uses Swallow all the time and gets all the HP back. Is there a strategy I'm not getting, because I can't really beat him.

  3. So after I beat Adam in the tournament I went and did some sidequests and now I can't go back to the stadium to continue the story. I think the train in route 9 is bugged because the options to travel on the route 9 train are Grand Dream Station and route 9 even though I am already on route 9.  Is there another way to go to the stadium or to fix the train? If it isn't I'm kinda stuck.

Sashila village, you can use your boat there.

That's still a while before I get there right? In the walktrough it says you only get there on chapter 13, I'm on chapter 11. Are they really gonna lock you up in a small region for so long? I guess I can't use the team I want, doesn't make sense.

  6. Don't tell me I need to be here for a long time and still progress through a lot of badges and story. So they finally give you Strength and there are a lot of new places that you can access with it but they give it to you right before they lock you up in a city. For example I really want a Gengar for my team and you need badge 9 for it, I already got the 10th badge and I still haven't had the chance to go back and get it. The train doesn't work and in the Judicial District there's a sailor that says that he can take me to Gearan but he's booked with clients. When it's the earliest I can go back?

  7. I'm at the part of the game you have to go meet Lavender for the first time but I've been everywhere in the city and can't find her. The walkthrough says that she is in the park in Dream District East but there is no way to get there, I can only get to Dream District West. Need some help because I've been going aroung this town forever and can't progress in the story.

There are other strategies you can try, depending on your Pokémon.  I’m on my phone, so typing it is a bit of a pain, but I’ll link you to a thread where someone had the same issue as you and I described the strategy there.

Thanks a lot, I was looking through my box and found an Inkay with Destiny Bond so I managed to win. I still don't think this a very well made level since this was my most difficult rift until now and you can't leave or grind.

  9. So I managed to beat the Garbodor the first time since he is a lower level, I used Parting Shot from Pangoro 2/3 times and got a bit lucky with a Sp. Def drop with Shadow Ball from Espeon. But the second time it just seems impossible, he is level 62, unfair defense and since the field gives him Poison Heal my damage is so low it's almost the same as the heal he gets. I saw people using Curse with a ghost type or Perish Song but I don't have Pokemon with those moves, also I've tried to leave West Gearan but I couldn't.

So what am I supposed to do? I don't think I can even grind anywhere,  I just can't do  any damage and he keeps healing, if there is a way to leave West Gearan please tell me because I think I'm stuck if I can't go get a Curse or Perish Song Pokemon.

You can leave the mansion by going through the hedge you came in from, when you broke down the wall in the small hut.

Oh then I have much more options, what pokemon are good for Marianette? I haven't seen a lot of fighting types, maybe the Solrock/Lunatone because of the rock type but I really don't see an answer for her opening play with Delcatty.

  11. I've played through all of Reborn and I did not have this much of a issue with a battle (despite at max 3 times through the entire game).

So I can't even beat 2 pokemon on her team, her Delcatty or uses Hyper Voice which does massive damage or Cosmic Powers and uses Baton Pass, special normal moves getting a 1,5 buff and hitting Ghost and Dark super effetive plus Cosmic Power being stronger is just overpowered and unfair. Also Multipulse that hits my Lycanroc super effective.

I need some advice, I remember the first time I played this game I stopped at the water gym because you are stuck at a place so you are limited at the pokemon you can use, it's the same with this battle.

Some pokemon I have are Roselia, Frogadier, Lyanroc, Zebstrika, Fletchinder, Lunatone, Solrock, Mr.Mime, Bellsprout, both Nidorans, Skrelp, Swablu, Klink, Pancham, Alolan Rattatta, Cacnea, Elgyem, Buizel, Zangoose, Litleo, Carbink, Pikachu, Houndour, Deddene, Geodude and Charjabug. So I have this plus the pokemon you can catch around the mansion.

So what pokemon are the best for this gym? Or what's a good strategy? I can't one shot the Delcatty with anything, he's not slow and he an set up and pass those buffs or hit me with op moves. I'm kinda stuck.

  12. So I started Rejuvenation today and stumbled upon a Budew just walking around in Gaeren Park. I already played through all of Reborn so I know about event Pokemon but I don't understand what I need to do to get this Budew, everytime I talk to him it juts says he's waddling around aimlessly. I couldn't find any answer so I'm making this post, do I need to bring him an item? Do I need the 1st badge? What do I need to do?

Over 200 hours after EV-Training and grinding a full box of team members as well as completing the dex to get Naganadel.

Similar to what Seel said it me nearly 190 hrs to complete the episode and that with ev-training/breeding, along with completing the dex for poipole.

Damn that's a lot, I don't EV train or breed but for my last team members I always tried to get them with pretty good IVs and went to farm Heart Scales to get them good natures. I was gonna do that with Togepi but the first time I hatched him he had perfect IVs at Special Attack, Special Defense and Speed lol. Now I'm gonna grind my Togekiss and a few more rotation members but I dont think I'm gonna do the full Pokedex challenge.

162 hours and in the middle of Ep.16. Not including the major sidequests.

As you can see, I like taking my time.

Jesus you're taking so long, did you have to grind a lot? Or is it just exploring? Because I feel like I also took my time exploring the cities and caves. The only thing that probably cut my time was that I looked up some puzzles that I had no interest in spending a lot of time on.

  15. So I just did the last thing you can do in EP 18 story wise (don't want to spoil anyone by saying what it is) and it took me 109 hours, this is with a very large number of side quests done and with a lot of grinding. Also, only today I learned you can speed up the game lol, that would've saved me a lot of time when I was grinding.

Anyway, how long did it take you if you already finished it? Right now I'm gonna finish any side quests I might have missed and level up some backup team members, also gonna get that Togekiss for my main team because I left the Railnet renovation for last.

Anyway, if I get done with Reborn before EP 19 I might try other Rom Hacks/Fan Games, I was thinking Pokemon Outlaw or Crystal Clear, if you have any other suggestions feel free to share them.

Also, is there any idea of when EP 19 comes out? Not even a specific date, like late 2019? Summer? 2020?

  16. Oh yeah it's Citrine Mountain, but what about the strength glitch? I searched online and couldn't find anything about it. Since I can't get Rocky Helmet before I get all the stickers it would be good to have the Life Orb for Garchomp. I have him with Dragon Claw, Stomping Tantrum, Stone Edge and Crunch because I have no dark types mons and no dark type moves.

I can't get Assault Vest before Titania because I have to renovate the Underground Railnet so I gave Metagross Leftovers, I think I'm gonna stick with the STAB plus Ice Punch, just need them not to miss so much.

Yeah I'm gonna go back to Wide Lens + HJK + Blaze Kick, easier to sweep since I don't lose HP. Bulk Up + Speed Boost already saved me so many times and Baton Pass might come in real handy.

I have the mod in which the move tutor in Onyx City teaches egg moves so I'm gonna give Ampharos that, also I gave him Signal Beam and Wise Glasses since I gave the Leftovers to Metagross.

  17. Where in Ametrine Mountain? I searched everywhere on where to get it and didn't find nothing about being there, my event Absol killed himself with perish song before I could catch it.

I already have Ice Punch on Metagross instead of Agility, should I really replace STAB Zen Headbutt? Well I do have a flying type for fighting types and ground for poison but still. If so, should I give him Hammer Arm or Fire Punch? As I write this, Metagross can't learn Fire Punch in this game, so I think I will give him Thunder Punch. Also, what item do I give Metagross?

I had a Wide Lens on Blaziken so I didn't miss HJK but  gave it to Metagross because of Meteor Mash and Zen Headbutt, I've had a lot of bad luck with 90% moves missing but since I might replace Zen Headbutt with Thunder Punch I might give the Wide Lens back to Blaziken. Should I replace Flare Blitz with Fire Punch or Blaze Kick. Also, is there a good move for coverage for me to replace Baton Pass?

I added Milotic to the team after Ampharos and he has very bad movepool in this game so I gave him Light Screen just because, I can replace Light Screen on Ampharos for Signal Beam or Power Gem form the move tutor in Onyx, is there a better move? He can't learn reflect.

  18. Thanks a lot, really I rather have a kinda useful move in Icy Wind instead of a useless slot in Tackle, sucks that you can't get Ice Beam. Also already taught Ice Punch to Metagross, wasn't really using agility but I didn't think of another useful move until you told me, since I don't have an ice type seemed like the best option.

Also sucks that I can't get swords dance on Garchomp, also can I get Life Orb, Rocky Helmet or Garchompite before Titania? I researched a bit but haven't found anything.

Also gonna use the advice for Togekiss, fairy types are really useful and he's versatile.

  19. So I want to say right away that shards and heart scales are not a problem I can use the move tutor and change abilities every time I want

So I just caught the Gible  and my current team is:

Ampharos - Leftovers - Quirky (haven't changed it yet) - Static

    Discharge

    Thunder Wave

    Dragon Pulse

    Light Screen

Metagross - Wide Lens - Adamant - Clear Body

    Zen Headbutt

    Meteor Mash

    Bullet Punch

    Agility

Blaziken - Charcoal - Adamant - Speed Boost

    High Jump Kick

    Flare Blitz

    Bulk Up

    Baton Pass

Milotic - Leftovers - Calm - Marvel Scale

    Surf

    Toxic

    Light Screen

Tackle (not a good movepool to choose from)

Crobat - No item - Adamant - Infiltrator

    Cross Poison

    Acrobatics

    Leech Life

    Haze

I also plan to add a Garchomp, first of all , what's the best ability/moveset/item/nature for him? I was thinking Adamant but I already have 2 Adamant mons in Blaziken and Metagross (i plan do remove Corbat from the team), also Rough Skin for the ability. Since a lot of tms are not in the game I can't get earthquake and other moves so I kinda need your help for the movesets. I used the Crobat for Adrienn but I wanted a fairy type to complete the team, I was thinking a Togekiss but I can only get it after beating Titania, is he a good choice? Also, should I change anything on the other members (besides the nature on Ampharos)?

  20. So I just got back from the Agate Circus storyline and since Rebon City is restored it seems a good point in the game to do some side quests, is there a good place where I can find all the side quests? Especially after the restoration, I already did some but I kinda wanted to do everything possible before Addrien.

Firstly,  ouch. That bites about honchcrow. Yeah, the random roulette doesn't really help much with training after the circus.

And there should be a clown that sells them there.  You might have to do a bit of searching for him though.

Galvantula might be a good option to replace honchcrow

Sorry if you like Honchkrow... I actually love his design and concept but don't understand GameFreak's idea when they made him, at least make him fast so that he can be a sweeper. Slow+frail does not equal a very good Pokémon.

I found the Cotton Candy clown, a problem I had was that I needed a specific member of my team against a lot of Blake, Fern and Solaris' Pokémon but couldn't use them because they were already knocked out, revives are a saviour in this game.
