Didn't get the old rod the first time from goldenwood forest is it possible to go back and get it? i cant seem to find a way even progressed enough to open it back up but now its overgrown

I don't know if there is a bug or I'm missing something but I can't seem to make Saki appear on the left side of Blacksteeple Castle. Tried it on Version 8 and she was waiting like normal no extra steps required. Game.rxdata
