I am at West Gearen,I am TRYING to beat the gym leader but I need to train up my Alolan Vulpix and my Drilbur to Excadrill,where is the best grinding spot for levels? I already tried grinding with the Gym Leader

I redid the puzzles 3 times. yet NUFFIN'.

they WERE gathered up,but I thought I did something wrong,so I started over,now there's not a single Ariados in the whole gym!

I finished the "log bridge" puzzle and I interacted with all 4,but there's no web.
