After years of development, THE TEXEN PACK IS FINALLY COMPLETED! What to expect in this absolutely blessed pack (spoilers for those who want to experience this blessed pack for themselves:

1) New fishing sprites! Each character contains a brand new fishing pole! Try them all out!

2) A brand new, upgraded version of Adrienn! Xey were great, but it was time to show them how a real leader renovated a city.

3) Brand new music from Rejuvenation! I think only true diehard fans will appreciate how blessed the champion theme is now.

4) New updated battle sprites for a few Pokemon! It's going to be pretty awesome.

[SkyTemple Hack Jam Submissions]

Hi everyone! It's certainly been a while since I've been back here! As such, I wanted to make you aware of something that happened not too long ago. Recently, we had. a SkyTemple hack jam. For those who don't know, SkyTemple is a tool that allows you to edit the spin off game, PMD: Explorers of the Sky. Our groups had three weeks to complete the games with the following restrictions:

1) The theme had to be "An Unlikely Team"
2) We had to add a Pokemon not present in the base game and give them an important role

Before we get started on this, I'd like to first say if you somehow haven't already, please do yourselves a favor and play Pokemon Reborn and Rejuvenation first. I don't know how you'd possibly find this before playing these amazing games, but just in case you have, you can download Reborn here and Rejuvenation here. With that being said...

 

...have you ever wanted to add some spice to your fighting mono? Have you ever wanted to play as another character? Perhaps you're a fan of Rejuvenation? Or maybe you're just an asshole, like me. Either way, if you've answered yes to any of these questions, then I've got the perfect custom sprite pack for you!

 

 

This, my friends, is the Texen Reborn pack! A graphics hack based on the one and only Texen Raider! Some things have changed, including some music, Pokemon sprites, and even character sprites! However, one thing's for certain: the region is not ready for Texen's divine brilliance.

How to apply the graphics mod:

 

1) Download all of the files from the link above.

 

2) Drag and drop the contents inside each folder into their respective places. If it asks if you want to replace the old file with the new one, answer "yes."

It's the seed it has. On the first turn, it's seed will activate, preventing it from taking any direct damage on turn one. I find it's best to use that turn to cripple it with something like a Cofagrigus by using Will-O-Wisp on it.

Spirituality: Inuit influence
Story: Sergei grew up north with a tribe of Beartic. The Pokemon of that region keep to themselves, preferring the cold weather. However, over the ocean, one can see the warm shores of Abstract. This captivated Sergei, who wanted to explore the sunny regions. The elders of the tribe didn't appreciate that, however, shunning him at a young age. This had a major impact on the Cubchoo, turning him into a reclusive bear.

 

Despite this isolation, Sergei continued to push himself, training under harsh conditions. Eventually, he evolved into Beartic, abandoning the tribe that shunned him. He made the long trip across the ocean towards the sunnier beaches of Abstract, expecting a warm (pun intended) welcome. However, upon arrival, the Pokemon of that area shunned him, as well, never seeing an ice type up close before. Now, Sergei wanders Abstract alone, looking for any source of companionship.

 

Details: Because he spent many days alone, Sergei doesn't know how to talk to... well, anyone. He often stays silent, preferring to listen rather than speak up. Because of this, Sergei has a hard time communicating with anyone. While preferring to avoid violence, he's also easily provoked.

I feel like people are forgetting Heihachi. Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if he's one of the DLC characters.

[Another Sacrificial Altar thread, but this time it's a bit different. You get to add a Nintendo Fangame character, but you must Offer up a Mario or Mario Spin-off character.]

Simple. Mario's clearly the least important character, so we toss him out. As for his replacement, it's even easier; Texen and His glorious light.

[Now Let's do the reverse: You have to offer up a Smash Bros Fire Emblem Representative to an Altar for Sacrifice. In exchange, you get any Pokemon you want.]

Corrin. Don't personally care for the game, and even Sakurai was uneasy on adding them at first.

As for the method of sacrifice, he'd be stabbed by a Leaf Blade by his replacement, Sceptile. I don't care if it's a common choice. He's a Hoenn starter (favorite starter set from favorite region) who is not only well liked across most of the fanbase, but he completes the second Grass/Water/Fire core (Greninja and Incineroar, that is, because there's also the Pokemon trainer).

 Republicans look very different depending on districts that are up for grabs. Suburban Republicans are typically college educated white people who are less likely to approve of President Trump - and this will hurt Republicans who have to lean on him in those districts. The House congressional map doesn't favor Republicans in large part due to a two-year-long "Resistance"-charged enthusiasm gap and because most of their fights will be in the suburbs while losing more seats the Democrats this cycle.

Democrats have to play defense more than they would like here. With the Kavanaugh debacle closing the enthusiasm gap by awakening the Republican base, Democrats have to hope they can win something like both Tennessee and Texas as well as hold onto all of their current seats. I don't see that happening, especially now that Heidi Heitkamp voted "No" on Kavanaugh in deep red North Dakota...when she was already down somewhere between 8 and 12 points in her race.

[Did Leaks Really Ruin an Awesome Smash Bros Direct? (A Smash Direct Analysis)]

I've been thinking for months whether or not to get a Switch. I thought with Smash Ultimate, I would be entering into the Switch's life cycle during the correct time. Sadly, for me, the trailer didn't do enough to convince me...

 

...until I saw Piranha Plant was playable. I remember laughing my ass off when I saw him. For me, he seems to be more of a character added for a laugh. I honestly don't think they "took a slot" from Geno or Isaac, either, as those slots were likely planned months in advance, anyway (essentially, what you said about the team being done months earlier). I look forward to buying my Switch so I can troll everyone with Piranha Plant!
