Well, the only ties between Galar and Kalos are on a meta level because they are based on England and France, there's no hint at the moment that Galar and Kalos are neighbouring regions as their real counterpart.

I just checked and apparently she hides it from you and she's just introduced as "a famous actress". Yeah, you definitely don't expect her to be the champion, as you totally don't expect Lysander to be the boss of team Flare. Gosh, how does gen 6 manage to be so subtle ?

Well, yes and no. There is no game where we don't encounter the Champion before battling the league. We battle against Blue during all the adventure of gen 1 (though he's a special case since he's not the champion at the time), there is the event with Lance and the Lake of Rage in Johto, we come across Steven and Cynthia several times in Hoenn and Sinnoh, you already talked about Alder (though he's also a special case too since he's not the one we battle for the title in the end, but then N is the same case as Blue), Diantha is also encountered at the start of X and Y. As for Sun and Moon, we are the champion so... yeah. But we also encounter the final battle early on, be it Kukui or Hau.
So yeah, the only thing here is that we're told he's the champion, as for Alder. But let's be real, since nobody on the good side ever does shit for the story besides the mc and sometimes the rival, we immediately know that characters like Steven or Lance are important and then it's not hard to understand that they are the champion of the region...

Forgetting one gym vs getting right the name of the rival, the looks of the legendaries, the new gimmick of battles WITH ITS NAME, the names of Leon and Sonia (as well as the fact that she's the granddaughter of the professor who's a female), the name of the first gym leader, the Wild Areas and the Max Raid (or whatever their name is, you get what i'm talking about).

Okay so that was a fun time but i feel the game might be a bit unbalanced.
By that i mean that if you start with a grass starter, you're going to shit bricks until you somehow manage to get to the cave, you have the opposite problem with a fire starter (unless you have a fire-fighting, that should be fine then) and it seems that the game is pretty easy with any water starter. Don't know if it's intentionnal. I get that it's supposed to be a bit hard but hard and unfair depending on your starter choice are two different things.
Also, is it normal the mystery gift isn't obtainable ? It's not really been a week (not exactly) so i was wondering (i was really curious to know what made this squirtle special i must say).
Finally, maybe some rework on the mc overworld sprite might be a good idea ? I don't know if i'm the only one but i found that white outline was a bit harsh visually-speaking.
Anyway, i still really enjoyed the start of the storyline, this game seems like a promising one ! Curious to see what v2 will have in store ! ^^

Liam got up and thanked the professor as she was handing out the basic items they needed to start their journey. He looked at them a little and put them in his bag. Meanwhile, Bunta, that he put on the ground when receiving the items, was jumping around and trying to climb to his shoulder. "Kieee !" let he out as he finally succeeded.
Aia's proposition took Liam by surprise. "What, me ? Well... i mean, i don't mind but..." he said while looking around, suddenly a bit nervous "Does nobody else want to keep it ?" He was actually quite interested at the idea of having such a high-tech device at his disposal (well, obviously it wasn't for the exclusive use of the holder but still, holding it meant using it for the entire group), but at the same time it was a pretty heavy responsibility. These things weren't as common as pokeballs ! What if he messed something up and rendered it unusable ?

Picking all together was a great idea so Liam didn't protest. He took place in front of the screen of his choice and, at Aia's signal, took the ball before him. He held it with both hands with a dumb smile on his face for several seconds. This was it. He activated the ball and a flash of light blinded him.
When his sight came back, a Froakie was sitting before him, seemingly curious about who this guy in front of him was. "Hello, little guy. My name is Li-" he beginned to say while crouching, but before he could finish his sentence, the little frog jumped on his head with a happy cry.
"Well, aren't you the lively one." sighed Liam, still smiling. He took him in his arms and continued "I hope we'll get along well, Bunta !" to which the little Froakie answered with another cry of joy with a big smile.

"Ho no" Liam muttered when he saw the twins in front of the lab. Obiously Nami would be there already. Great. Just great. He slowed down the pace to place himself at the rear of the group but it was unnecessary, the twins were already leaving. Good.
He didn't pay mind to Mina's remark, probably it wasn't meant to be mean and they were all in the same boat after all so it wasn't that shameful. Not that it was shameful to smell like chicken to begin with.
He entered the building, greeted the professor then went straight to the table she indicated. Out of the six holes, only one was empty. Wait. Did this meant that one of the twins didn't get a pokemon ? It seemed odd, but there must have been a reason. Liam took a look more in depth and let out a sigh of relief. It was still there.
Appeased, he spotted the jar of cookies and went pick one. It's not like they were in a hurry so he could take one. Besides, Cassandra was already eating her third so, if he wanted one before there was none left, it was now or never.
"The older ones first, maybe ? I already made you all wait until today so i won't mind going last." he proposed to Aia's question.

Liam was staring at the last piece of chicken in his bucket, suddenly fascinated by its looks. Not that it was any different from the previous pieces of chicken. After all the excitement during the meal, he was now beginning to feel a bit uneasy as they were now down to their last bite. It was not about the bite, obviously, more about what it represented. The end of this meal was also the beginning of so much more. And it was a bit scary.
A loud sound woke him up from his thoughts. Aia was finishing her own with a big reassuring smile followed by a burp and her laugh. Right, it's not like he would be leaving alone, he thought with the hint of a smile. In fact, being the youngest here, he was even the reason his friends left only now. He took a deep breath, caught the last piece and munched it until just the bone was left. He then let it fell in the bucket and rose his head. It was too late to back down.
"R... Ready to go." he said with a smile.

Personality: Since he's a little boy, Liam has always been a shy boy due to his inability to handle the pressure. His shyness still lingers today, despite his continuous efforts to try and get past it. Even when you get to know him, he's still not the most expressive guy, but he's nonetheless really friendly and loyal to the few friends he made. He can have quite the analytical mind, but again it's really hindered by his lack of emotional control.
Appearance: Slightly taller than your average teenager, Liam has blue eyes and ginger hair, seemingly going from brown to orange depending on the light. He prefers to keep them relatively short due to their tendency to curl when they are too long, so it generally looks like he just got out of the bed. He doesn't have great care for what he wears, as long as he can wear his favorite jacket over it, a black one with short sleeves. It nearly always ends up being a white shirt with some sort of red pattern on it anyway.

The description is awesome on paper, but holes start tp appear when Pokemon can suddenly achieve it without having a bond with a trainer.
Mewtwo from the genesect movie and Lucario from Insurgence come to mind.
The Lucario from Insurgence is actually legit though. It's later explained that it's Cynthia's, that she was observing the scene from afar and triggered the mega-evolution herself. Can't remember exactly when though, but it's pretty far in the game, maybe even in postgame.
As for Mewtwo... It's just Mewtwo being Mewtwo i guess ? Also, can we really apply the canon of the game to the anime ? Remember that Onix beaten by a Pikachu and the countless other example of this genre ?

I always thought there was some sort of dissonance between npcs that talk about "mega-evolution is the ultimate form of bond between you and your pokemon !" and you just slapping a mega-stone on a pokemon you just caught. Even funnier : in a fangame called pokemon Metal, you get the mega-ring, a blazikenite and a blaziken from a guy who spends visibly days to mega-evolve it. He just says "fuck it, i'll never succeed. Here, have this." and give it to you, so you can literally start a wild encounter and mega-evolve his blaziken RIGHT BESIDES HIM.
So yeah, i'm a partisan of the happiness mechanic. Not absolute max however, that would mean each ko would stop you from mega-evolving and it would be a pain, but maybe around the same level of happiness than an evolution (so 220+). Still leaves a good margin.

SpoilerI actually think the reincarnation of the first woman is Melia/Maria/Marianette but i agree with Vitus for the first man. Maybe you're right about the Interceptor being their child, it would make sense since he sided with his mother and we are on the same side as Melia.
Also, i just thought of this but i wonder why there was no Interceptor in the alternate timeline of V10. Could it be because there was one but he failed ? Or he was the one who threw this world in chaos ? Or maybe there wasn't because we were supposed to get into that timeline to save it ?

SpoilerDid you try the quest Baddies badlands ? (i think it's the name) Once you have access to the new help plaza, you have access to this quest, which give you the way to go into the ruined city. Don't know if you'll get your money back though.

Okay, so in the episode we get to know more about the "Interceptor" thing we heard first by the Puppet Master and some strange events take place.
SpoilerSo, we learn that the Interceptor is a sort of walking deus ex machina sent by fate itself when the world is in imminent danger and he can throw the world in either light or darkness. On the other hand, it seems like we have some kind of gulf-war-PTSD-flashbacks near Ana's grave, with this sort of weird gosth guy and seemingly multiple characters talking (probably inside our head). I think we're in the conversation too, but i'm not sure...
I'm beginning to think the Interceptor is some kind of Avatar-like being, with reincarnations and memories of the past lives, which could add up with the sentence from the Puppet Master ("oh dear Interceptor, which mind will you inhabit next").
Also, i wondered if the role of Interceptor also "transfers" to other people from time to time, like when we play as another character (Ren when the MC is in comatose for example).
So, what are your thoughts ? And how do you think this new informations go with the double prophecies ?

Normally, it's in a folder in your C drive. You go to the "user" part, then "saved games" and there should be a Rejuvenation folder. Your current save is the "Game.rxdata" and you should have a lot of other files presenting like this : "NumberOfTheSave - PlayerName - Playtime - NumberOfBadges.rxdata". Just delete the current Game.rxdata, rename the save you want to use and you should be good to go ^^

It's okay to shiny hunt like that normally, pretty sure the game considers it like another battle so it should be good. I actually hunted a Fletchling but i'm not sure if i just fled each time or if i reseted between battles.

Don't forget that neither Solrock nor Lunatone were even mentioned in Sun and Moon, despite being literally sentient floating sun and moon-shaped rocks. I'm honestly not expecting anything from aegislash for gen 8. And i too feel they could have a tie somewhere down their history, we just don't have any confirmation yet
