I just started the Spyce quest and the balm mushroom you need for it I sold a long time ago. I also sold my stack of tiny mushrooms so one of those would help too.

If there's any specific pokemon you want I can probably breed it for you in exchange (still not done with pokedex sidequest, but 500+). My game username is the same as my forum username.

I have a backup save with a balm mushroom on it, if you are available to trade now.  Farming it got plenty of tiny/big mushrooms (I think) so I could trade you them too.  It's a backup save, so don't trade anything you don't want deleted

Why would Hop receive two starter Pokemon? Just because his brother is the champion doesn't mean he'd get two of them -_-

    Don't be greedy Hop...

Idk but I honestly wouldn't be against it. At least none of the Pokemon would be left behind then.

It would definitely be an interesting change at least.  Also, I couldn't help buy try to make @SilverAngelus's post into a 'Gee Bill' meme, but you'll have to excuse my non-existent editing skills.

So Leon..... how ya doin? Leon looks awesome honestly. I like how he was styled and the way he seems like the baddest guy in Galar. He has that charisma. Almost competing with Cynthia's with only that GAZE he has.

He's good, but let's see if he's Alder level before trying to measure up to the true champion

Now Leon had a Charizard, shown beside him in the trailer. That could only mean one thing, that Charizard is his ace. THIS fact just makes me believe on the credibility of Armor evos. That Charizard is going to have something, we betting on that.

Either way, this does reek of gen 1 pandering.......again.  I'm almost embarrassed to admit I started during Gen 1 because of how much they keep harping on it.  I get that it makes money, but after Let's Go side game they've maxed out on how much could be called reasonable.

    Dynamax > Z-moves > Mega evo - Competitive-wise in criteria.

Are you rating it top because of it's presumed splashability?  We don't have all the info yet, so maybe it and Gigamaxing will have a yet unseen downside?

Let's all play SwSh with a smile in November. Can we do that?

Maybe the new mons and features will be enough to make up for everything lost or maybe not.  If I was planning on getting this game, I would definitely need to see more before committing actual money to a product.   Unless they really screw up, it wouldn't be the complete hard pass that the Let's Go side games were.  They've still got months to reveal more so people can make their decisions on this one.

  4. One of the more unique ideas Insurgence did with moves was have a post-game move tutor that taught moves that Pokemon (mostly legendaries/mysticals) learned only from events (or from 1-move  move tutors).  Could Reborn introduce a move tutor NPC like this somewhere in the post-game?

It would be nice to have a few weaker legends get one of their better event-only moves (1st).......or just go crazy like that event Victini (2nd below).

My username (and also my trainer name) is Tiger Eye for online play (same as this username) , my ID number on my trainer card is 27330

Ok, I can send a trade request when you are waiting

    Edit: Enjoy!

My ID is 27330, can I have two?

That's your Trade ID or just the ID on your trainer card?  If you haven't created an ID in the 'online play' area of the Pokenav, you have to do that first.  It only takes about a minute.

Sure, I'll put them on some mons

I've literally just went through the entire desert area with Taka and four appropriate level pick-up mons, nobody has gotten one. Does anyone have one they can trade me? I have some 4 egg move + good IV Skrelp and other pokemon

Even with a full team, Pickup is very finicky at getting anything sometimes, much less what you want from the list.

Do you need the two for the mega stones or just 1?  Either way, I have plenty so just trade me anything.  What is your trade ID?

I get that, but how do it's type matchups work up? It probably does quite a bit to Corey and Shelly, but after that? I'm asking because if I want to train up a better Electric mon, nows a good time as any, what with how easy Corey should be.

Depends on which Corey you fight.  His harder fight can be quite hellish for some teams.

I don't know what's changed teamwise since I played through the game in V16, but Rejuv 9/10 had Gen 7 so it should be comparable.  If you want an electric mon that actually hits things hard/decent, then train something else.  Pachirsu was stellar on mostly pure support duty as long as you keep it way from hard hitting Ground types, but isn't a damage dealer outside of Super Fang or something 4X weak to electric.  Personally, Zebrastrika was good early game, though something from Gen 7 might be better.

  9. While I never used it on my one playthrough of Reborn, it's still pulling it's weight about halfway(???) through Rejuvenation Intense mode (V10) where the levels are in the 70's-80's.  It's a pretty nifty utility mon even in singles and Super Fang lets it hit above it's weight class sometimes.

soo do Ivs still affect the shininess of the pokemon? I am confused 😛

if they do do you have a list by any chance or a guide link?

What Dream and I were talking about was only how shinies were handled in their debut generation, Gen 2 (G/S/C) and the funny quirks/rumors surrounding.  It was just a off-topic thing because of how old rumors are funny in hindsight.    Shininess hasn't been determined by IVs since Gen 3 all those years ago and certainly doesn't apply to Reborn which uses USUM mechanics.  Just ignore what Dream and I were discussing since it's not used.

Reborn has an improved shiny rate compared to canon games (around 1/100) which can be further improved by the shiny charm.  The other methods that work in canon games aren't applied here, though that's moot considering how much better the rate is in general.

Is it a random spawn in the vendor list or do you have to keep buying ice creams and the vendor gives it as a bonus?

Random spawn.  You just have to enter/exit the menu until it shows up at the bottom of the list.  You don't have to buy anything in between.

Unfortunately, it's pure RNG, so you may be doing it for while or it may show up in the first 10 tries.   Each one costs 20,000 if I'm remembering correctly, so be sure to have enough on you to buy them while it's available.

  12. 11 minutes ago, Tiger Eye said:

Can someone list all the ways/locations to get this? And also all the uses for it so I can know the exact number I need. I've been going after it via the two ice cream vendors and pick up. Can someone confirm that levels 41-60 are the pickup levels to get it?

Aside from another user trading it to you, you only can get it from Ice Cream sellers (outside Grand Hall, Agate Fair) occasionally based on RNG  and from the Pickup levels you described.  The RNG is easier than Pickup, if you want my opinion, though it is more expensive.

It is used in 3 events, iirc.  You can trade the PC handler that loves Pikachu two Blue Moons for 2 different Mega Stones (Pincer and Herracross I believe)..  If you have no other food items, you can also give this to Titinia in the WTC for an extra relationship point.

Otherwise, it is a good healing item with a nifty bonus: it maximizes friendship levels with a Pokemon that eats it.  This is great when wanting to evolve friendship-based evolution.

It's not really a rumour, as Shininess in G/S/C was determined by IV's, which are partially passed on by breeding.

Other than that though, Shininess is unaffected by the shininess of the parents, both in canon games and Reborn.

Although I knew about IV's determining shiny-ness in Gen 2 (from watching too many Pokemon lists on Youtube), I never put together that it would make that possibly affect it back then.  Thank you!  Now I have to apologize to my old strategy guide for dissing it
