  1. Wow.... It actually did help a ton! I did think of excadrill, mega scizor and someone else (you mean a sand weather double right?) and i liked how it even managed to use my starter!

Now, i have some questions about a few things:

1 - Instead of Stealth Rock, how about Toxic Spikes or Spikes? I could use a toxic spike / venoshock situation with, lets say, a Roserade? 🤔

2 - Since both Tyranitar and Primarina are considered "slow", how about putting a tricky room pokémon? (musharna, maybe)

3 - why assault vest? I dont get, Tyranitar already has 100 BP of Sp. Def

  2. Fello fellas, Krellian here!

Guys, the thing is: with EP. 19 getting close by the day (i hope soooo much!), i decided to rerun the game. But now i know so much about the game (which pokémons can we get before/after each gym, where to, how to) that i feel kinda lost with so many options.

In this rerun i've decided to: create a balanced team, with 3 physical attacker, 3 special attackers (they can be bulky, glass cannon, doesn't matter) and with no repeated types. But im strugling at choosing the types i want for the team!

So, long story short, i would like to know your opinion about which pokémon types you believe are essential for such team, which can be avoided, which caNOT and etc.

Thanks in advance for all replies and sorry for the broken english

PS: So far ive chosen these types: Fire (Arcanine; love that dog!), Water/Fairy (Primarina; new run, new starter) and Poison/Ground (Nidoking; like him a lot, but maybe not enough to be here forever)

  3. Sup guys, Krellian here!

Look, i've decided to rerun the game with another team and ive come up with this group (please disregard their moves... i know ive cheated 😐  ):

Nightwing (Noivern) Lv 65                Reaper (Gengar) Lv 65                   Zeus (Rotom / Fire form) Lv 65

Modest Nature                                 Timid Nature                                  Modest Nature

Item held: Sky Plate                          Item held: None                             Item held: Zap Plate

    Moves:                                              Moves:                                            Moves:

    - Air Slash                                          - Shadow Ball                                 - Thunderbolt

    - Flash Cannon                                  - Energy Ball                                   - Energy Ball

    - Dragon Pulse                                  - Sludge Bomb                               - Flamethrower

    - Hurricane                                        - Dark Pulse                                    - Thunder

Kannon (Medicham) Lv 65               Beethoven (Stoutland) Lv 65           Lagoon (Swampert) Lv 66

Jolly Nature                                      Adamant Nature                             Adamant Nature

Item held: Wide Lens                       Item held: Silk Scarf                         Item held: Damp Rock

    Moves:                                              Moves:                                            Moves:

    - Drain Punch                                    - Facade                                          - Muddy Water

    - Ice Punch                                        - Play Rough                                   - Rain Dance

    - Zen Headbutt                                 - Strength                                        - Ice Punch

    - High Jump Kick                               - Close Combat                               - Earthquake

I decided on creating a double team focused on rain (both Swamper / Rotom and Swampert / Noivern), so i would like to maintaing the concept (and at least Swampert, since its my starter for this run) and the others to cover weaknesses. Anyway, i would like some tips about my team (like: am i missing some serious coverage? Should i change someone? (im still wondering about Beethoven, Reaper, Zeus (maybe another form? Maybe another Eletric?))).

Thank you for all replies beforehand 🙂

PS: Sorry for my broken english

  4. I see that opinions are quite divergent between them, and i've loved it!
Well, let me give this scenario: So far my team is: Venusaur, Swampert, Delphox, Braviary, Heracross and Magnezone. Lets imagine which type could replace Venusaur? The only two conditions are: It has to be a special attacker and may not repeat types.

I have a quite large pletora of pokemons in my PC (lets say every single event pokemon up to route 3, but them).

Can you guys give me a clearance?

Well, I think you need a dark type, to take care of Venusaur's psychic weakness and Delphox's and Medicham's ghost weakness.  Get a Krookodile instead of a Golurk. A pure water type like Blastoise would be good because you need a fire/ice resist(venusaur, krookodile, dragonite), and Venusaur covers Blastoise's weaknesses well. But removing Ampharos for Dragonite means you lose your flying resist( Venusaur, Medicham are weak to it), so maybe a Tyrantrum instead of Dragonite? 🙂

I see... it does make sense...
Well, the idea of a dragonite is for someone to use fly, but tyrantum is a good option...

I already have a squirtle so i could try to use him with mega evolution (if there isnt its stone yet its okay).

Krokodile is a great idea indeed! ive though of him many times. Him and excadrill.

  6. Hello guys, Krellian here!

So, today's topic is: Choosing a sixth member for my future team. By that i mean more the typing than the pokémon itself.

As of today, my tema is: Venusaur, Delphox, Clawitzer, Ampharos, Medicham and Golurk. My plans are:
    - changing medicham for a heracross (i dont like to repeat typing aaaaaand Delphox is paired with Venusaur);
    - Changing Clawitzer for another water type (faster, more balanced and with swift swim ability (im thinking of kingdra));
    - Changin Ampharos for a Dragonite (i know what ive said about repeating types, but i love him! Also he'll be paired up with kingra as a rain double team (fly and huricane));

And them come my dilema: Golurk.
I want to change for a physical attacker (3 special attacker, 2 physical and one mixed) but i dont want to repeat types (2 dragons are enough)

PS: as another matter.... what are your opinions about the other pokemon as well? im not sure about kingdra and this "rain pair". maybe a swampert when i get one?

Thanks in advance for all answers!!!

You can find Blast powder by pick up (Refer to the Pickup table on the site for that) or buying them for 2500$/piece at the 7th street at Lapis Ward.

With that you can finish diging the special rocks made for mining, letting you mine them a second time !

    Thanks a lot Nagalfar!

Sorry i answered this late, but to know that it can be bought is already a huge help!

    Hi,

Golett/Golurk are rather weak indeed (offensively they are good, but their speed is a huge issue). And so is Stoutland, to be honest. The other members of your team are rather solid, in-game at least. For me to make suggestions, it would be helpful to know, which Pokemon you have at your disposal at the moment.

I've just beaten shade, so i dont have a lot of pokémons at my disposal. im trying to get a scraggy for myself, have also defeated the aqua gang... i dont have much.

PS: Im using stoutland and golurk because i see that my team is mostly special oriented, so i though to have some physical attackers

  9. Hello guys, Krellian here!

So the thing is: i feel like my team could have some changes in with their members. Right now i'm with 5 of 6 and i can decide a 6th member.

    Anyway, here they are:

    Venusaur lv 43

Giga drain, Growth, Nature Power, Petal dance

    Delphox lv 41

Psybeam, Mystic fire, Fire pledge, Psyschok

    Stoutland lv 41

Fire fang, rock smash, Crunch, Retaliate

    Ampharos lv 41

Discharge, Power gem, Thunderwave, confuse ray

    Golett lv 40

Stomp tantrum, mega punch, magnitude, dynamic punch

Personally, i dont want to change venusaur and delphox (my personal favourites) and i plan to change stoutland for a heracross later on and ampharos for a water type. My great problem is with golett: i like the idea and the concept with it becomes a golurk... but it feels weak.

    Thanks for all answers beforehand!

  10. Hello guys, Krellian Here!

You see, i personally love bulbasaur but i've got a different starter. Anyway, now that i know i can only get one so late in game, i would like to know if i could get a help from the community.

I really dont care about EV, IV, nature or held items. All i wanted it is to be a female (gonna breed with my roselia to pass giga drain and growth). Its not much but i have some baby pokemons with interesting IV's (pichu, Igglybuff and Happiny)

    Online name is KRELLIAN

    PS: Thanks in advance!

However, Roserade is a very solid Pokemon when paired with a Water or Fire type starter, pretty much throughout the duration you use it. I would also recommend Cherubi as a "heavy-toil" pick to compliment other starters that pays off nicely.

My starter is Fennekin. I was thinking of starting out with Bulbasaur, but i've searched about and found out this "hardship" the grass type starters possess.

Anyway, between a venusaur and a roserade for Reborn, what do you guys say?

  12. Hello guys, Krellian here!

So the thing is: i have a great fondness for grass type pokémons, like Venusaur and Roserade, but so far i've seen that their life on Reborn is... tricky. I mean, rivals with fire and poison pokémons, gyms that have the upper hand against them...

So my point is: is training a grass type pokémon worth it on Reborn? My main idea is to have a Clorophill Venusaur together with my delphox for a sun double. What are your opinion guys? Thanks in advance!

PS: maybe ill open a thread to trade a bulbasaur later

  13. Well, thank you guys for all answers that i have received. At first I was afraid of a toxic community (used to WoW) but it's  so good to see friendly and helpful people as you have shown me. Really, thanks a ton!

As for my starter, I've decided to go with fennekin. I found his typing quite interesting and I guess I could use it for a long run.

PS: can I get the others ingame or only by trading?

  14. Wow... and here i thought i knew stuff about pokémon.

please let me give my reasons for those choices:

Torchic is easy mode if you want to cruise through (Bulk up, speed boost, good natural dualstab and general stats, that thing is broken)

Swampert is pretty versatile because only one weakness means you can usually get some use out of him. only really useful water starter in gym 1.  Can't really get great moves til kinda late though

any of those other ones you listed seem fine and good. Place quite a bit of importance on level-up moveset when choosing, TM and Tutor access will be fairly limited til you get quite far into the game.

It's not that I don't like Blaziken (when I played emerald I loved him) but to me pokémons who has both high attack and special attack... wastes all those points. Take blaziken for example: 95% of his moves are physical... why such high special?

I like swampert a lot, but also falls into the same problem, but because his low spe. Attack (hydro pump and surf will not be as powerful as they could)

I mean, if you want to have the easiest time, you can rock Torchic with Speed Boost. (But that's no fun, now is it.)

Fennekin is pretty good, it gets a great learnset as a Delphox boasting great coverage by level up and Shadow Ball by heart scale.

Mudkip is alright, it's solid enough.

Bulbasaur is pretty bad due to not getting any good moves by level up, and you can easily get a Budew early game, which just outclasses it hard.

Piplup also suffers from really bad learnset, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Turtwig is also pretty meh, it isn't as bad as the previous two, but its typing and learnset aren't stellar.

Though honestly, I think any grass starter that isn't Rowlet isn't a good choice.

A shame... my favorite gen starter is bulbasaur : ' ( but I kinda understand not having a good special move in the early levels. But what if I manage to breed giga drain and magical leaf to him? (As you said I can get a budew early on)

for last: I didn't choose gen 7 pokémons because I know little tô nothing about them.
