  1. Hello everyone, how are you doing? It's been a while last time i played Pokémon Reborn and decided to do another run, specially to see the endgame part. So, because of that, i thought of making a all-around balanced team, where each weakness is covered by an ally. So, let me show them to you:

    Delphox (a.k.a. Houdini)

    Ability: Blaze

held item: Firium Z or Choice Scarf

    Nature: Timid or Modest

    EV: Speed + 252, Sp. Attack + 252, HP +6

    Move set:

    - Mystic Fire

    - Psychic

    - Grass Knot

    - Fire Pledge

    Crobat (a.k.a. Nightwing)

    Ability: Infiltrator

Held item: choice band or nothing

    Nature: Adamant

    EV: Attack + 252, speed +252, HP + 6

    Moveset:

    - Cross Poison

    - Roost

    - Acrobatics / Fly

    - Brave Bird

    Primarina (a.k.a. Opera)

    Ability: Torrent

    Held item: Choice Scarf

    Nature: Modest or Timid

    EV: Sp. Attack + 252, Speed + 252, Hp + 6

    Moveset:

    - Water Pledge

    - Psychic

    - Sparkling Aria

    - Moonblast

    Scrafty (a.k.a Mohawk)

    Ability: Moxie

    Held item: Leftovers

    Nature: Jolly

    EV: HP + 252, Attack + 252, Speed +6

    Moveset:

    - Drain Punch

    - Dragon dance

    - Crunch

    - Iron Head / Poison Jab

    Galvantula (a.k.a. Tesla)

    Ability: Compound Eyes

    Held item:

    Nature: Timid or Modest

    EV: Sp. Attack +252, Speed + 252, HP +6

    Moveset:

    - Buzz bug

    - Thunder wave

    - Energy Ball

    - Thunder

    Garchomp (a.k.a. Smaug)

    Ability: Rough Skin

    Held item: Garchompite

    Nature: Jolly

    EV: Attack +252, Speed + 252, HP + 6

    Moveset:

    - Earthquake

    - Outrage

    - Iron Head / Poison Jab

    - idk

So, the idea of this team is that each Pokemon has its weakness coevered by some other member (like Delphox is weak to water and i have a Galvantula to super effectively hit water, and so on). Also, for double battles i plan on having Primarina and Delphox to create and abuse of Rainbow field, as they seem to have some interesting moves that a upgraded.

Anyway, what are you guys' opinion on my team? Please, i would like to know your opinion on this. Thanks

  2. Hello guys, how are you doing?

Well, finally the game is finally complete and we're playing it like there's no tomorrow, am i right? lol

I would like to know if you guys could help me to organize my team: if you agree with the choices; if there are better suggestions; etc.

    So, here they are:

    Bahamut (Garchomp)                                                                           Platina (Ninetales)

    Ability: Rough Skin                                                                               Ability: Drought

Nature: Jolly (+spe / -spa)                                                                   Nature: Modest (+spa / -atk)

    EV's: 6 HP / 252 attack / 252 speed                                                     EV's: 6 HP / 252 Sp.A / 252 speed

Moves: Dragon claw, Iron Head, Earthquake, Outrage                        Moves: Flamethrower, Nasty Plot, Dark Pulse, Solarbeam

    Galapagos (Empoleon)                                                                        Mohawk (Scrafty)

    Ability: Torrent                                                                                     Ability: Shed Skin

Nature: Timid (+spe / -atk)                                                                 Nature: Jolly (+spe / -spa)

    EV's: 6 HP / 252 SpA / 252 speed                                                       EV's: 6 HP / 252 attack / 252 speed

Moves: Flash Cannon, Agility, Scald/Surf, Aqua ring                          Moves: Knock off, Dragon Dance, Drain Punch, High Jump Kick

    Gaia (Venusaur)                                                                                   Electivire (Electivire)

    Ability: Chlorophyll                                                                              Ability: Vital Spirit

Nature: Modest (+spa / -atk)                                                              Nature: Jolly (+spe / -spa)

    EV's: 6 HP / 252 Sp.A / 252 speed                                                       EV's: 6 HP / 252 attack / 252 speed

Moves: Energy Ball, Growth, Sludge Bomb, Giga Drain                      Moves: Thunder Punch, Ice Punch, Wild Charge, Earthquake

So, my team looks like this so far. The original idea was to make a team where every pokemon's weaknesses is weak against one or two other team members. Once i get acess to mega stones, i might change this Ninetales for a Charizard Y (because of Draught) and when i start hunting for legendaries... i may get Groudon for the same purpose.

So, what do you guys think? Should i change someone? Is there a coverage im lacking? Any tip will be very welcome.

    Thank you all!

  3. "And then she looked upon her work, might and beautiful, and said 'It is done. Let this be my final masterpiece'. And people all around the world rejoiced in celebration, for the world of Reborn was whole, at last."

May you rest knowing all these years of sweat, blood and tears will be forever in ours hearts and will be forever remembered as the best Pokémon game ever made.

  4. From someone who has keeping tabs on this game since 2015, i want to say you guys are doing something awesome! Never have i had so much hype and excitement over any game as i did to this one. Honestly, to me, its not just a game, but more: a masterpiece.

Everthing about it is incredible by itself: the music? amazing. The maps? beautiful. The puzzles? Nerve-wrecking (lol). But, to be very honest, the most incredible of all are none other but the CHARACTERS. This game is nothing without them as they feel so alive, so real... Ive read somewhere that this game were created based on a online gaming community, where the players, the gym leaders, the elite four and even the champion were real people. Because of that, Reborn feels to me like a Requiem for them and, if it is so, they pack a whole lot meaning. I was shocked with what happened to Heather's father; i have the exact same feelings Titania has....

In the end, the only thing i can say with absolute certainty is: Thank you. You'll not be forgotten; Pokémon Reborn will NEVER be forgotten.

  5. Hey guys, HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Im passing by to say a couple of things: i hardly know you and yet you're one of (if not THE) best community ive been part of.  Ive seen through some years how this game grew and i have to say: its a beautiful thing which should be seen and played by everyone.

Also, as the game itself grew, so it also grew inside me. let me explain why: Many of the characters portraited on Pokémon Reborn have spoken to me on a personal level. I understand Titania more than i wished to. Julia and her desire to live her 'Golden days' is a thing i too caught myself trying to... These are but a few examples, not to prolong myself.

Long story short, i want do wish a very happy New Year to the community and the developers (yeah im looking to you Ame ;) ) and i hope we can be here to see this masterpiece ready once and for all!

PS: let us never forget: THE HYPE TRAIN IS REAL!

  6. Hello guys, im back.

After some thought, i've come up with this team:

    Empoleon / Torrent @ Leftovers
    - Scald
    - Flash Cannon
    - Aqua Ring
    - Iron Defense

    Arcanine / Intimidate @ Leftovers
    - Flare Blitz
    - Extreme Speed
    - Morning Sun
    - Close Combat / Wild Charge (im not sure yet which one)

Medicham / Huge Power @ Mega Stone
    - High Jump Kick
    - Zen Headbutt / Psycho cut
    - Ice Punch
    - Drain Punch (i like its recovery)

    Eelektross / Levitate @Life orb
    - Wild Charge
    - Drain Punch
    - Stealth Rock
    - Ice Punch (im gonna use Debug on this one)

    Flygon / Levitate @ idk
    - Earthquake
    - Outrage
    - Steel Wing
    - idk

Roserade / Natural Cure @ Life orb
    - Sludge Bomb / Venonshock
    - Giga Drain
    - Toxic Spikes
    - Power Gem (i know, ill debug this one too)

I don't know how well do they look overall, but i think they do have a good coverage and a lot of resistances. So, what do you say?

  7. It is basically as R.B said mate. When you think of Poison, one of the most imediate thoughts is: i'll use ground moves on her! Well, the Wasteland Field doesnt allow you that (if they are physical moves btw).

You know, this was one of the few gym leaders which the tip give by Ame comes really handy: focus on their secondary type or go psychic. Also, i think Levitate ability can come really handy here, dont you think?

  8. Those are some very interesting thoughts guys, thanks!

Guys, thank you very much for the opinions given, they are very interesting indeed. Honestly, im thinking of not using debug to get them, but maybe to give perfect IV's and Egg moves.

I see some pokémons repeat, like Swampert and Weavile, which makes things even more interesting.

I'll take all into consideration to make my team.

    Thanks

  9. I have one pokémon that im in love since the very first generation: Arcanine! Hes so magestic, strong, almost was a legendary. I really like him. To be honest, if he just had the Drought ability he would be so OP. Even without that, i love that dog

  10. Hello guys, Krellian here!

As we all anxiously wait for episode 19, i would like to share something with you. I am thinking of a team, of a balanced team, and i cant seem to choose the rest of my pokemons.

You see, the only ones i REALLY want in are Arcanine (my favourite pokemon EVER) and Mega Medicham (Ive become very fond of my Kannon).,

I've decided to make a fresh run once ep. 19 is out, so i want your opinion on this subject: which pokemons would you think would be a good match for those other two? Before you answer, i wanna ask two things:

    - No repeating types;

    - At least one starter (yeah, i like to keep my starters from the very beginning)

So, what do you guys think?

PS: Ah, one personal doubt: what is your position regarding weather/field manipulation teams here in Reborn?

  11. Welcome back friend, you came back on a good time, actually. You see, we are waiting the last chapter to be released, with everything complete. the WHOLE game finally complete.

Well if you want to keep track of it, go to Reborn Devblog. There you'll keep up with everything so far.

  12. Hello guys, Krellian here! How are you?

Well, as we wait for our beloved game to be completed, i've been thinking about all the mechanics it has and how well used they are. Im not trying to suck anyone's balls but you have to admit you don't see this much even in the original games.

Ive been trying to make a team, a all around team, which could be used basically for all situations and i was thought of exploting one of those mechanics. Not all the team, but maybe a trio?

So, long story short, do you guys use them? If so, which one and why?

You probably shouldn't rename the file since the game probably uses the name as a check for what to look for

Well, he can just rename it back to the original one, no?

If you're on 18.2 you can switch between saves on the savefile screen when you start up the game. There's no need to do anything in your saved games folder.

Really? That's a new to me

  14. LOL i understood you nicely. To be honest, this is my first time thinking of a team that relies on a field mechanics, like Trick Room (originally i used to focus on fast hard-hitting pokemons)

This setting is more of a way to understand more of competitive battles and strategies. Again, thanks a ton for the insight, for i'll use it to make the team better

    • Thanks 1
  15. You see, as i remember, the game only go after the game.rxdata. So if you want to keep your old save file, you can just rename it and the game wont see it at all. But, just for safe keeping, put a copy of it on another paste, thats even safer.

  16. Okay... After quite some thoughts, i think i came up with an interesting team for your ratings 🙂  Here we go!

    Reuniclus (Psychic) @ Leftovers

    Ability: Magic guard / Regenerator

    EV: (252 HP / 4 Def./ 252 Sp. Attack)

    Relaxed Nature

    Moves:

    - Psychic

    - Psyshock (i dont have another one to up here)

    - Trick Room

    - Recover

Steelix (Metal / Ground) @ (Steelirite) (did i wrote it right?)

    Ability: Sand Force

    EV: (48 HP / 208 Atk. / 252 Sp. Def.)

    Sassy Nature

    Moves:

    - Dig / Stom Tantrum / Earthquake (i know its a excellent move, but it will hit a friendly mon on doubles)

    - Protect

    - Stealth Rock

    - Gyro Ball

    Gigallith (Rock) @ Wide Lens

    Ability: Sand Stream

    EV: (252 HP / 252 Atk. / 4 Def.)

    Careful Nature

    Moves:

    - Stone Edge

    - Protect / Toxic

    - Stealth Rock

    - Earthquake (i guess)

    Cofagrigus (Ghost) @ Ghostium Z

    Ability: Mummy

    EV: (4 HP / 252 Sp. Atk. / 252 Sp. Def.)

    Quiet Nature

    Moves:

    - Shadow Ball

    - Trick Room

    - Pain Split

    - Nasty Plot

Primarina (Water / Fairy) @ Leftovers (how many do we actaally get?)

    Ability: Torrent

    EV: (16 HP / 240 Def. / 252 Sp. Atk.)

    Relaxed Nature

    Moves:

    - Scald

    - Moonblast

    - Rest

    - Sleep Talk

    Machamp (Fighting) @ Flame Orb

    Ability: Guts

    Brave Nature

    Moves:

    - Drain Punch

    - Protect / Wide Guard

    - Fire Punch

    - Facade

Well, that's it i guess. Plz let me know what you guys think of this team! If you guys think its good, bad, what do i need to change, anything! All opinions will be appreciated 🙂

PS: Again.... I WANT EPISODE 19!!! DEAR GOD, ODIN, ALAH! ANYONE WHO CAN HEAR MY PRAYER! lol ( I should start praying for Amethyst i guess lol)

  17. Wow man.... what an insight! I really enjoyed the reading and i must that team is really balanced!

I have to agree that Blaziken is on steroids on Reborn, so i believe i may take your suggestion of Pókemon 🙂

Also, i was a purely offensive trainer just like you

I also read, somewhere in the forum, that, unlike the original games, a Reborn trainer should also think of defenses and hazards and stuff. Thats why i thought of using some mechanincs.

Anyway, i'll take your some of your ideas on my team. Thanks a ton!

Mega Steelix - takes advantage of Sand and Trick room with Sand Force and very low speed

Yeah I thought of him, but I'm that type of guy who doesn't like to repeat Pokemon types. I mean, we have 18 different ones! Why use 2 or even 3 of the same? You know what I mean? That being said, I could exchange escavelier with him though

  19. Sup guys, Krellian here!

Well, while we wait the e19 to be released, ive been thinking of a team of my own. A balanced and all around team to be used virutally with any battle (i know it seems impossible, but bear with me).

So, with that in mind, i thought of something like this:

    - Reuniclus (tricky room setter - special attacker)

    - Escavelier (tricky room user - physical attacker (kinda obvious, i know))

    - Gigalith (tricky room user and sandstorm setter - also physical attacker)

    - I thought of a mega venusaur here (or some other mega evolution)

    - I dont know

    - I dont know [2]

So, i would like some ideas for these slots and/or another option for Venusaur. Also, what do you say about this tricky room trio? they look interesting dont you think?

Anyway, i thank all for any opinion you may give 😉

PS: I WANT EPISODE 19!!! DEAR GOD, ODIN, ALAH! ANYONE WHO CAN HEAR MY PRAYER! lol

  20. Hello guys, Krellian here!

So, we are all waiting for Episode 19 to be released (anxiously, to add 🙂 ), but there is something in my mind lately...

If i remember correctly, there was some changes at the intro when the desert episode was released (the whole train scene) but i can't be sure if there was on early episodes (i dont know if im making any sense, but bear with me).

To make things short, i want to know your opinion between: do i use my already "episode 19 ready" game file, or you guys wanna have the experience to play the WHOLE game from scratch? I mean, it will be the COMPLETE game, without pauses, anymore changes and the whole story ready to be seen! What do you guys say? Leave your thoughts below 🙂

PS: I hope you are well Amy! We all wish you good recovery!

PSS: We could have some more juicy spoilers for the hype train, dont you think? 😆|

PSSS: I just hope this last episode answers something ive always been wandering... what truly happened to Florinia so she became the way she is? 🤔

  21. Sup guy, how are you doing?

First of all: if i've posted in the wrong place, im sorry. I just didn't figure where to post, but anyway.

Well, as the title says... Is it possible to reset one's pokédex? Even more... to delete some pokémons' data?

You see, i have this save, which is basically waiting for EP 19, but ive  used the debug to fill the pokédex (legendaries included) and i would like to remove them so that i can get them post ep 19. The main question is: Is it possible? If so, how?

Thanks in advance for all replies fellas!

PS: Sorry for the broken english 😉

  22. 1 hour ago, N1Dude said:

Well if you really want spikes I would go with a Chesnaught in your last slot. Your ground weakness is still very much a live and a poor physical defensive roserade won't help with that. And if you don't know the opponents team a t-spike is risky because he/she can just send out a poison type the next turn and your t-spike is gone. So i guess that a Chesnaught with spikes is a really good alternative.

Well you could indeed mess around with some trick room, but because you're running defensive scizor you want his U-turns to be slow otherwise the pokemon coming in has to take the hit.
A slow tyranitar with that much bulk and power isn't a problem as you will see later, you could run choice scarf primarina. Primarina is a popular mon to be choiced, either specs or scarf, both works. Depends on your match-up but isn't that always the case? 😛  You could ofcourse try it out, I would recommend Reuniclus as your Trick Room setter. Bulky, hits hard and gets calm mind.

True but you want to exploid the strong sides of your pokemon. You want him to live as much hits as possible as a special wall to be a thread with his physical power.

    For example;

    Tyranitar @ Assault Vest
    Careful Nature
    Ability: Sand Stream
    EVs: 224 HP / 32 Atk / 252 SpD
    - Rock Slide
    - Crunch
    - Pursuit
    - Earthquake

This set lives 2 specs hydro pumps of Greninja and KO's him with 2 Earthquakes or Rock slides.
252 SpA Choice Specs Greninja Hydro Pump vs. 224 HP / 252+ SpD Assault Vest Tyranitar in Sand: 150-176 (37.7 - 44.3%)

    32 Atk Tyranitar Rock Slide vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Greninja: 147-174 (51.5 - 61%)

And the more it lives the more satisfying it gets for me at least ^^

You could run smooth rock ofcourse to give your excadrill more turns, but could damage the rest of your team as well. Or you could even make it banded or something, but again that's just really your choice what you personally prefer the most 🙂

Thanks a lot man! I'll think on the options i have, i may also drop in the "Rate my team" so you can see how did it ended up.
