Well, Cass DID say something about releasing it around May, which gives us a month (give or take a few days), which also has been the average time for beta testers to find bugs and to the developers to fix them. So yeah, i think Pokémon Reborn - Complete Deluxe Ultra Version will be in our hands somewhere around May or even June.

Honestly... I kinda see your point there and at some point i do agree... But, if you stop to think about it, Reborn itself isnt any easy you know? So, we could call it a "way to balance the scale". But i can easily see your point and if they arent careful enough, i might happen.
Buuuut... if you think about how they are taking their sweet time to fix everything, revamp so much, i believe these changes will probably be very welcome.

Sweet Jesus in heaven, I still can't believe how much improve the game had in all this time. I'm baffled and without words, honestly. You guys are doing something here that will last for a really long time.
I'm no expert, I can't give important and helpful IT comments. All I can do is to spread the word of our lord and Savior Helix Fossil and his acolytes (Ame and Andracass) and play Reborn will all my heart.

Well, basically tells the story of this post-apocalyptic future with relics from an ancient civilization (with giant robots and stuff, but it doesn't matter right now) and stuff.
My point is: there is this guy, Krellian, who is actually the mastermind of everything. He manipulated a Senate of AI's and even an immortal emperor to achieve his utmost goal: to reach and tread at God's own dimension.
The thing is: I can see some of it in Reborn and Lin's existence: someone with undeniable power, using everything and everyone to reach God (Arceus). Remember when Anna said she couldn't see anyone on top of Hydreigon? Maybe that's her objective: to find existence with God, or maybe to find someone who could set her free from her prison of soul and flesh.
I'm certain there is something like that.

I will take you comment to make it even better: Lin WILL become the champion (replacing Amy) and we will have to fight her at the great end of all events.
