  5. -Arminius Taking Flowey back to the bus, they look around with barely restrained interest, looking at all the strange objects and individuals. WaveImpmon breaks out into a cold sweat at the sight of him, Tattletale simply keeps a gun nearby, and Arminius leaves. -Ignia Yet more darkness pours from the void at Ignia's command. It takes the form of a black silhouette, with vivid red eyes that stare Ignia down as it stalks towards them. Once again, however, its body breaks apart under its own weight, legs and arms crumbling into shadows that reform into two gigantic heartless, a titanic whale and a massive jellyfish. The Aquatank spits out a Screwdiver!
  6. "Yeah, I'd love to get burned to death when that human with the dumb zippers sees me again," Flowey says sarcastically. "Lead the way, unless you'd like me to just wander around looking for that bus." Frisk thinks for a moment. "I've got things I need to do too."
  7. -Arminius Flowey smiles. "I don't care. I just want out." "Even killing has gotten boring by now. I'm looking forward to something new. It doesn't matter what." Frisk seems so used to this sort of behavior. -Ignia The crystal is a deep red that almost reminds Ignia of a Gummi Block, but different in a way they can't quite put their fingers on. It is shaped like a third of an orb. Where the Heartless were called from, there is a swirling disk of purple and black on the floor. Yet more Heartless could be drawn out of it. Despite Ignia having killed some of them, it feels darker than before. The next ones she calls will be even stronger.
  8. "I-I gotta get home," they say. The child has a bow in their hair, and a striped shirt that is stained with something grey. They don't seem to have arms, and look distinctly lizard-like. Running away, they stop only long enough to warn Ignia. "The others will be worse." They say mysteriously, before leaving.
  9. The two Screwdivers are destroyed instantly by Ignia's twirling whirling keyblade, expelling their hearts and scattering treasures about. As the Heartless fade away, the pool of shadows congeals into a swirling pillar. A small monster child thrashes their way out of it, screaming and crying. They flop out of the ooze, choking and coughing up the foul black substance. The darkness pools together, transforming into a eerily glowing fragment.
  10. Flowey looks relieved as Arminius forces his tattoos to shut down. "I've been a flower too long, that's what happened. I don't have enough power to return to my 'true' form, but I've got too much power to stay a stupid little doll." Despite not being a "stupid little doll", displeased. "It seems I really am Flowey." They take clumsy steps on roots not meant for walking. It strikes Arminius that, if they wanted, Flowey probably could have tricked them all from the getgo into thinking he wasn't the asshole he is, as he puts on a tearful, shivering expression and demeanor and hugs himself as they walk out of the room. Frisk is taken aback when Flowey almost tackles them, sobbing fat crocodile tears and shuddering violently. "I-I gotta go with these guys, Frisk. There are bad people out there, and... and I want to help," he says in a reedy voice. Frisk, confused but relieved at the emotional display, pats them on the back and nods. Arminius notices them SAVE right then and there. "And for the record, Arminius is right. I couldn't go back, even if I wanted to. Not all the way," Frisk says. "I checked already. Lucine's wish was for Monsters to be free. Even if I RESET now, I can't go any further back than the barrier being broken. You don't have to be scared of going back anymore." Flowey freezes. "Well then what the hell am I doing this for?" he sneers, rolling his eyes and pulling away from Frisk and pulling the cloth off of his face. "It's been fun idiot, it really has, but I've already done everything this world has to offer." Flowey says. "All these worthless memories, all these worthless people, I'm sure you'll have fun with them." "Have fun, my little Monarch. I've got better things to do." "That is, if these angsty little killers have an opening," he gripes, looking at Arminius. Frisk sighs. "You know, I'm almost relieved." "I'm going to have my hands full with one Asriel." -Ignia Theme (4, 3, 1) Ignia deals 34 damage to the Turquoise March, slaying it instantly! Ignia poisons Screwdriver 1, and it takes 11 damage from the burbling toxins! (19, 20) Ignia's armor fails to protect them from the Screwdivers' attacks! (15, 6) Ignia takes 21 damage as both Screwdivers charge at her with their spears! Status
  11. -Arminius (3, 19) (77) (43) Flowey absorbs the Essence, and, after several moments, nothing happens. Suddenly, Flowey's body bloats, and begins to tear at the seams with plant matter as it flops backwards. The head of the doll swells and tears in half to reveal a familiar, if far healthier-looking flower. The white center of the flower melts and shifts like sludge, until it forms a disgruntled face. "Ugh. Just when I was getting used to having arms and legs. Look what you've done." they scowl. After a bit more disturbing wiggling, he looks surprised, and manages to rip two artichoke-like arms out of the cloth and fluff. "Oooh! That old hag must have scattered some of my dust on this doll at some point," they ponder, flexing the blunt red claws poking out of the scaly limbs. They give Arminius a sly look. "Got another one in ya?" Arminius's tattoos flicker and spark with an annoying pinch, as if they can't decide whether or not to activate. The malformed link between him and Flowey pulses painfully with waves of determination. For a being like this, even dying means nothing in the face of them doing whatever they want. Flowey glares at Arminius, and it's clear that he's enduring whatever is coming from Arminius's side. Giggling maliciously, they shrug. "Looks like I haven't been reduced to a quivering wreck like you were hoping." They look towards the exit with some concern. "That said, I doubt you want to do this again any more than I do. If you just play along, I'll act like it worked when we see the brat again." Not waiting for Arminius to answer, Flowey begins pulling the "hood" of the doll back up, trying to stuff their head in it. Crew Member Option (Force the runes to deactivate) Minion Option (Force the runes to activate) -Lucine "I am sure you know, but to formally introduce myself in turn, I am Asgore Dreemurr," he says, kneeling down to shake her hand. Asgore looks confused at her explanation. "I suppose I can see the irony in humans digging through the garbage of a monster," he eventually decides, chuckling. He seems distracted, and the reasoning why is obvious, as he watches Chara emitting sparkling, colorful magic. Asriel's tears have dried up for now, as he watches her quick learning with awe. "It seems so unreal. So painfully unreal," Asgore whispers. "Like if I reach out to them, I will merely awaken." -Jun Gerson guides Jun and the others to Snowdin, and into Grillby's. "Well well, still hot as ever, I see." Gerson jokes. "Do you still have that Jukebox?" Grillby doesn't say anything. "Hmph, so the damn thing is still busted, huh?" he says, looking over to the corner of the room where the dusty thing is sitting.
  12. Flowey rolls their eyes. "Calm down, idiot. I don't care what you do to me anymore. Why would I?" "I may not remember what they feel like anymore. Compassion, Love, Hopes and Dreams." "But I still remember the day I died. I remember how they screamed." His face morphs into a facsimile of Chara's. "You IDIOT! You've got to fight back! If you don't, we're going to die! In this world it's kill or be killed Asriel! It's kill or be killed!" "I still remember how scared I was. How angry they were, how betrayed... I decided they were right, all too late." "Compared to that, nothing really scares me anymore." "It's so hard to believe that the passive little child sitting in Asgore's home is the same person who begged me to save us," Flowey says, shaking his head. "They were the only person I could care about without a SOUL. And even then, I couldn't TRULY care about them." "I just liked to think that there was someone out there. Someone I wouldn't get tired of. Someone like ME." Flowey offers up an empty smile. "But it seems they're content to mop up that brat's tears from now on. They're nothing like they used to be." They return their attention to Frisk. "But now it seems as if everyone is perfectly happy." "Monsters will return to the surface. Peace and prosperity will rule across the land." "Take a deep breath. There's nothing left to worry about." ... "Well. There is one thing. One last threat." "One being with the power to erase EVERYTHING... Everything everyone's worked so hard for. Everyone's Hopes, everyone's Dreams, vanquished in an instant." "You know who I'm talking about, don't you?" Flowey says with a ghost of a smile. "That's right. I'm talking about YOU." "YOU still have the power to reset everything." "Toriel, Sans, Asgore, Alphys, Papyrus, Undyne..." "Asriel, Chara, and all your human friends..." "If you so choose..." "Everyone will be ripped from this timeline... and sent back before all of this ever happened." "Nobody will remember anything." "You'll have as many tries as you like." "Isn't that rich? I tried my damndest to keep you here forever, to never let this game of ours end, and I wasted all that effort, when you would gladly do it yourself over a few loose ends." Frisk shakes their head, but it seems Flowey's words are getting to them. Their breathing comes unevenly, and they back away from Flowey. He turns to face Arminius. "Get it over with. Before this selfish brat decides that it's worth trying a different approach."
  13. In the center of the garden, Frisk's hunch turns out to be right. The doll is standing in the middle. Silent and still. When they see who came in, their face doesn't change. "Don't you have anything better to do?" Frisk steps forward. "Arminius is willing to give you some of his own Compassion. You'll be able to feel again. Isn't that what you wanted?" Flowey's lip twitches. "So I can end up like that brat?" Their grin splits wide open, toothy and dangerous. "That little shit probably won't have a full night's sleep ever again after everything we did!" "You saw him right? Whimpering and crying, he's even worse than we used to be. I bet he's in a much worse hell than I am," Flowey leers, tilting his head just so. It seems he is even quicker to become bored than usual, as he drops the facade. "Why do you keep coming back here?" he asks outright, looking at Frisk with a serious expression, one as lacking in malice as is physically possible for the entity. "You already got what you wanted. Toriel and Asgore will probably hook up again sooner or later. Asriel can feel again, Chara gets to be a monster, just like she always wanted." "You did it! You won! The End! Happily Ever After." With each phrase, his face twists more and more. They raise an eyebrow. "You don't REALLY want to be friends, do you...?" "No. I get it," they admit with a shrug. "You're just like me, aren't you?" "You don't care about anyone." "You're just bored." "You just want to see what I'll say." With each line, they walk closer and closer to Frisk. Despite this, the room doesn't dim. No FIGHT is forthcoming. "So you can laugh and throw me away like a broken toy." They hold up their stuffed arm for emphasis. Flowey pauses, thinking for several moments. "I wonder what will happen if you aren't satisfied. Will you go back again?" Frisk's breath quickens.
  14. "We have to try." "I'm so tired of bittersweet endings. I just..." They shake their head. "It will work. It has to."
  15. "The only thing he has is willpower. He's been like this so long, he doesn't even understand feelings like that anymore." Frisk looks unsure. "I don't know what he'll do next. I've never seen him behave like this." "Normally, when he loses, he becomes despondent. His "games" are all he has. A stubborn determination to see out his whims is the only thing he can truly feel."
  16. Seemingly overjoyed, insomuch as a spider can look overjoyed, they offer Arminius a Cider, on the house. Frisk halts Arminius at the room just before the garden. "Once we go in here, he'll remember everything we do and say, even if I LOAD." "Be careful."
  17. -Arminius Muffet gasps. "Oh, really? I had seen the flash of light, but I never... Oh my, oh dear, it seems I'll have to hurry up and pay for that heated limousine, so the spiders in the Ruins can leave with the rest of us..." She hums thoughtfully. "Be seeing you around dearies," she says, rummaging through the till to count the Gold inside.
  18. -Jun "A karaoke machine, eh? You know, I think I know just the place to get one of those. I'll go scrounge it up. Hey, brats, come here and help an old man get some work done!" he shouts over at the Dog Squadron, who follow him out of the room to fish up the equipment. -Arminius "I'm afraid not, deary~ I'd know if I met humans like you," she giggles, reaching down to pinch Frisk's cheeks. "It's the oddest thing, though, I can't help but feel like I know this little one here." The child withstands the pinch stoically. "I'm Frisk. This is Arminius." More giggling from the spider lady. "Well, I'll be sure to keep you in mind. Have a nice day, dearies. Come back when you're feeling a bit hungrier, and I'll have you for dinner, Ahuhuhu~" -Ignia (1d2 = 1) (1d100 = 71) Ignia's wandering around eventually leads them to places in waterfall where reality is a bit... unreal. The shadows near this dock, for instance, are too long, and too deep. It takes little encouragement for the Shadows to spit out their contents, A black silhouette wielding a wicked blade walks calmly towards Ignia with an air of malice, but after only a few steps, it collapses in on itself, and two Screwdivers and a Turquoise March take its place, emerging from the puddle of darkness that it leaves behind. Theme Status -Lucine Asgore pauses. "Well, no, but I do know it. It is Lucine, right?" He guides her into his home, where Toriel is already digging through the fridge and pantries. "Nothing but snails and expired tea," she frowns. "I will go into town to purchase some groceries. You all will stay here and wait patiently for me." She considers something for a moment, before scribbling down something on a piece of paper. "Asgore, should there be an emergency, this is my phone number," she says, handing over the slip of paper and walking out of the room. Asgore looks conflicted, but something crosses his mind. "Lucine... Have one of your friends... Been digging through my garbage?" he asks with some confusion.
  19. Toriel chuckles at Jun's words. "Perhaps, then, we will keep that as a backup plan, as it were." "Very well. I suppose if ever there was a time for pie, it would be now." "...Although, it seems I may be cooking for a while, with how many are here," she hums, looking over the crowd of excited monsters. "Come along, then, there is no better time than now to begin," she says, her tone brokering no argument from Asriel, Chara and Asgore, as they all walk into Asgore's house to start cooking. Asgore looks at Lucine. "Would you like to come along, little one? We'll need all the hands we can get." his eyes are misty, but there is a sense of something more there. Other monsters cotton on, and scurry off to cook their own parts in what will certainly be a celebratory feast. "Hey mom, I gotta go with Arminius to check stuff out. Be back soon," Frisk says, wandering off with the person in question. Toriel is tempted to voice her concerns, but decides against it. 'I doubt there exists anyone in this world who can harm that child,' she chuckles to herself. There is certainly something to consider, when one's child controls time itself. - As Arminius comes to a halt in the dank depths of some web-covered area, he encounters a small stand with a spider woman manning it. There is a Donut and a Croissant on the table, but they both appear to be rubbery fakes. "Ahuhuhu, would you like to buy a Spider Donut or a Bottle of Spider Cider? Only 9999G!" she says. "All proceeds go to real spiders, of course."
  20. The snowman smiles. "Please, if it isn't too much trouble, I'd like you to take it with you. Even if it does melt, I'd like to know that a part of me has gone further than ever before." The hunk of snow transforms with a flash of light, turning into a large, upside down heart-shaped snowflake keychain.
  21. At Ignia's words, Alphys sweats. Asgore's face scrunches up in confusion. Alphys and Undyne freeze for a moment, before Alphys sighs in relief. Toriel frowns. "I would not call him 'Your Majesty' if I were you. I think it's safe to say that Asgore will not be acting as King in the foreseeable future, so long as I am around." Toriel glances at Asgore sideways. "Yes, well, you have proven that you are better at gardening than decision-making." "That said, you are still fired, Dr. Alphys," she reiterates. Undyne guffaws, grabbing Alphys like a football, the Lizard squawks in alarm. As the Royal Guard Captain runs off with a wriggling former scientist in tow, Toriel looks towards Ignia and the others. "It will take time to inform everyone of what has happened, and longer still to evacuate the Underground. Perhaps you all should take one last walk around." "Whatever you choose, there is much we must do before we can all leave. Water must be found for the aquatic monsters to live in, homes must be built, and, indeed, the humans must be contacted, should we choose to remain on this world... After all, there are others, are there not?" She pauses long enough to think. "I fear, from what Frisk has told me, the humans have long since forgotten that we exist. It may be worth considering, that perhaps we could leave them in this ignorance." She shakes her head, and looks across at all of the humans. "Now, however, is a time of rest. If there is anything you would like to do, then please, feel free. You have earned it." Frisk scratches their chin. "I've always wanted to go to a Karaoke Bar with you guys," they admit.
  22. Frisk thinks for a moment, before realizing with a start. They dash over to Dr. Alphys and tug on her coat. "Dr. Alphys, can you make seven more Mettatons, for the seven SOULs?" The lizard woman is some blend of startled and surprised, but quickly runs the numbers in her head.
  23. Frisk smiles awkwardly. "All the way back where we started. The flowerbed." "It'll be a long walk."
  24. Frisk is torn. On the one hand, Asriel has a point. On the other hand, Flowey is a murderous psychopath usually, and he seemed especially murdery this time. They tug on Arminius's sleeves. "I know where they are," they whisper to him. "There's only one place he would go." The other monsters are groaning, and slowly coming to. Lucine looks none-the-worse-for wear. Human souls ain't shit compared to Heroic Spirits.
  25. Dolly stares dispassionately at Ignia as they pin the doll to the ground with their keyblade. "Do it. Even if I HAD something to live for..." They glance at Chara and Asriel for a moment with a frown. "I don't anymore." A fireball slams into Ignia's keyblade, sending it skittering off before they can finish off the Soulless Abomination. Before Ignia can respond to this... Lucine's body ignites with white light that floods the entire room, as the seven SOULs surround her, whirling faster and faster. ... The Barrier was destroyed. The Seven Souls float slowly back down into their canisters, and with a small hiss, they slide back into the floor. Dolly is nowhere to be seen, and all the monsters are sprawled out on the ground from the force of the blast. It's over.
