  1. -Snowdin Road As Arminius prepares to absorb an attack, and Rachel prepares to protect someone with the Emperor's blessing, Toriel nods curtly. "Well, that should be adequate. I will spare you, now." The fight ends, and the world returns to normal. She looks a bit saddened at how prepared Arminius and Rachel were for her to attack them, but shakes her head. "I'm uncertain why it gave you trouble in the beginning, but it seems it merely took a moment of practice," she says, changing the subject. "Shall we move on?" The child walks over to a pile of dog treats in the snow near the sentry station. They all have burnt ends. Arminius hears spookily, until The Child says the exact same thing out loud. -The Lab She laughs. (2d10=1+10+10=21) Ignia sends out a blazing fireball, but Undyne's Cooling-Dirt absorbs the heat! Undyne takes 63 Damage! (1d4=1+11=12) Ignia casts Cure, recovering 12 health! She grits her teeth, fighting through the pain. (5d10=4+4+5+10+6=29+10 ) Undyne unleashes a flurry of spears, they strike from all sides, hitting Ignia from the right, left, right, and two from below! Ignia takes 39 damage! She stares, breathing heavily at Ignia, who managed to survive the onslaught. Status
  2. Ignia fires a blast of flames at Undyne, but the dirt on her armor absorbed the heat! (2d10=5+10=15) (1d2=1) The flames deal 45 Damage as they crash into her! Ignia strikes Undyne with a poisonous blow, dealing 24 Damage and Poisoning her! (1d10+10=11) Undyne unleashes a glowing spear, sending it directly at Ignia, who whips around and gets hit directly in the back, dealing 11 damage! Undyne is preparing five more attacks! Status
  3. -The Lab Jun grabs Lucine in a football carry, darting past the Royal Guard Captain and into Hotland! She shouts after them. Jun manages to make it all the way to the Entrance to Waterfall in a burst of speed. A gigantic lit-up sign spanning the entire hallway announces proudly, "Welcome to Waterfall!" - She glances back at Ignia. She scoffs. The armored figure turns sideways, glaring at Ignia with her good eye. ... She pauses. Her brow furrows under her helmet. The armored figure rips her helmet off, throwing it off to the side. She jabs a finger at Ignia She flourishes her spear, Her eye gleams, as she points her weapon at Ignia She steels herself. Undyne leaps towards Ignia, her spear at the ready! Suddenly, Undyne swipes her spear through Ignia, forcing her SOUL to emerge from her body and turn a brilliant green color! At the same time, she throws a spear into the ground in front of them, offering the weapon up to make things fair. She points her finger straight at Ignia. Status -Snowdin Trail Toriel nods. "Then I will enter a FIGHT with you, simply to allow you to discover what it is you can do." Arminius, Rachel, and The Child find their SOULs emerging once again as the area around them dims into darkness. Their SOUL hangs in front of them, Rachel's SOUL is golden, and gilded around the edges besides. Arminius's SOUL is a grey drained color, and shows signs of wear and tear. The CHILD's soul glows a vivid, eye-searing red, as they send it moving freely through the air. Status:
  4. "I refer to avoiding harm, not inflicting it, Rachel. I have noticed humans often protect themselves quite effectively, when attacked by monsters. Even while ACTing, the child kept their SOUL perfectly still and avoided the blue attacks. (As you may have guessed, blue attacks can only inflict harm on those who move.)" "Perhaps it may be forward of me to say, but while your SOUL is out during a FIGHT, you may have new ways to protect it that you are not yet aware of," she explains.
  5. Rachel uses Feel no Pain to drug Arminius! Arminius stands still! The Child attempts to pet the dog... Toriel unleashes a massive ball of flames at Doggo! Before The Child can pet Doggo, the flames slam into them, knocking them away! The FIGHT ends, with Toriel dusting the soot from her hands. Doggo stumbles to their feet. "I just got hit by something that isn't moving..!" "I'm gonna need some dog treats for this..." they mutter dizzily, before running away. "Let that be a lesson, my child. This is why I asked for you to allow me to handle such altercations," Toriel explains. The Child explains that Toriel never said that, confusing her. "Oh. Perhaps I was mistaken?" she responds, before shaking her head. "Well, no matter." Toriel looks at Arminius and Rachel curiously. "I can't help but notice that the two of you seemed to struggle with that. Perhaps I could bring you up to speed on how one might deal with a FIGHT here in the underground? The little one here seemed to have no trouble at all, in fact," she points out, eyeing the child with a strange look. From the way she's talking, she doesn't appear to be referring to the time-honored tradition of hitting the other person while trying not to get hit.
  6. Rachel stands stalwartly in the way! Arminius tries to sneak past while Rachel postures... (13, 15) But Doggo noticed the movement! Toriel stands still with a gleam in her eye. The Child CHECKs Doggo! "Don't move an inch!" Doggo shouts, swinging his Pomergranite Daggers at the entire party! They glow with an unearthly Cyan light! Rachel takes zero damage, the ghostly blue blades pass right through her! (5+3+1+6=15) Arminius takes 15 Damage as the cyan blades strike him! Toriel takes zero damage, the ghostly blue blades pass right through her! The Child's SOUL glows brightly, as they choose to stand still during Doggo's attack! The Child takes zero damage, the ghostly blue blades pass right through them! STATUS
  7. -True Lab Nader and Prodditor walk down the hallway, encountering more lab entries. They exit the right hall, entering a room filled with beds. One corner of the room has an empty dog bowl in it. The bowl is caked with a white, chalky slime. One of the beds is invitingly disheveled, with the blanket pulled down. The room splits again, with a northern and eastern door leading deeper into the Laboratory. Another Entry is in this room.
  8. -The Lab The armored monster pauses at Jun's words, looking between her and the others on the upper floor. They take a step forward, then, another one. Only one side of their helmet has an eyehole, and a vivid yellow light leers out from within it. The monster stops, five paces from Jun, glaring silently at her. They hold out their hand, as wisps of light flow out from within their armor, swirling together into a spear made of bright blue energy. Jun suspects she is done talking. The Lizard, unaccosted by anyone, manages to escape through the door. The Royal Guard Captain begins marching towards Jun! Status
  9. -The Lab (20, 13) Ingia's healing magics restore Lucine to full health, awakening her! The foot is yanked out of the wall, and Jun's words are met with an almost ponderous silence. Crash!!! Dust swirls around the monster after they had bodily smashed through the wall, leaving a person-shaped hole in the stone.
  10. -Snowdin Road "That aside, it may be prudent to avoid attention. The more reason we have to be spoken of, the more people we are likely to encounter," Toriel reasons. When Arminius walks up to the Sentry station, a dog suddenly leaps up. The dog is wearing leather-print sweat pants and a bright magenta shirt with a dog's face on it. "Did something move?" The dog mutters glancing from side to side. "Was it just my imagination?" "I can only see moving things, so, if there WAS something moving, for example, a human..." They draw two daggers into their hands. "I'll make sure it never moves again!" STATUS -The Lab (16, 9) (52) Ignia surrounds the door in a field of hexagonal magics! (15, 15) The door thuds, to no avail! The eye peers around for a moment, before backing away from the door. Metallic footsteps can be heard clanking away. (8, 19) (96) Suddenly, an armored leg crashes through the wall next to the door, punching a hole straight through it! ...The leg appears to be stuck. Jun activates Ace Ambassador, targeting the foot stuck in the wall! (2, 12) "Wh-w-wh" the lizard stammers. (18, 5) In a fit of terror, the Lizard jabs her phone at Lucine, tazing her with a blast of high-voltage electricity from the device. The lizard scrambles out from under the table, running for the door that isn't locked by glowing hexagonal magic, hopping onto the conveyor belt to take her down to the lower level.
  11. -The Lab (13, 17) (2) Jun's phone expands, the case cracking as its internal mechanisms shift. The phone is now destroyed. Lucine looks under the table. There is a monster under the table, whispering into their phone in frantic tones. Making eye contact, a long pause drags out between Lucine and the wide-eyed yellow lizard, who slowly fumbles at their phone and ends the call. A thunderous crash from outside dents the lab door leading out into Hotland. A second crash, and the door bulges outwards. (8, 5) (57) From outside, a yellow eye can be seen peering through a deep crack in the sliding metal door.
  12. -The Lab (1, 6) (67) Lucine sits on the table, and the racket continues, before stopping all too quickly. Seriously, what the hell was shaking this table?
  13. -Snowdin Road (14, 5) (21) "'S-snow' problem" they stutter, before running away. Toriel sneers towards where the monster escaped to. "What a haggard-looking child. They will likely tell other of this, so be cautious." Moving forward, you encounter another Sentry Station, this one proudly displaying a wooden carving of a dog on the top of it. Next to it, a sign reads: -The Lab (2, 14) (60) Lucine's fiddling with the tools seems to have no meaningful effect on the vibration, in fact, it seems almost random, or perhaps, based on her proximity to the table? -True Lab (5, 13) (89) Prodditor's fiddling with the door fails to open it. A small power surge from his fiddling with the electronic makes the vending machine nearby dispense a bag of... "Popato Chisps"
  14. Law, in a fit of characteristic paranoia, keeps his guard up, looking around for anything about to jump out and attack them.
  15. -True Lab Nader comes to a central room. There are paths leading to the right and left, and a door with four colored spheres embedded in it. There is a vending machine on one side of the door, and another computer screen on the other. It lights up, simply reading "POWER ROOM" The door seems to be locked.
  16. -Snowdin Road Walking forward, the group notice a sign attached to a shoddily crafted building made of cardboard and marker. A sign is hung on the front, which reads: Suddenly, the air dims, and everyone is dragged into a FIGHT, as a strange, icicle-like bird leaps out of the bushes! Your party has the first move. Status -The Lab Lucine notices the table vibrate as she messes with the magical tools, rattling a bit as she stands in front of the table. Ignis notices, as she opens the door, that the elevator is simply gone, with nothing but a shaft leading down into the dark depths to greet him. There is no cable, and it seems the elevator wasn't meant to be called back from the top once it's been sent down... (78, 12, 15) Jun manages to create a crude phone by hacking together parts in the room.
  17. "That pad should be able to massively enhance your upward jumping ability, I've already charged it with some blue eco!" Law explains quickly.
  18. Law uses the Stairs as a mounting point for a rapidly constructed Superjump Pad, using his builder's wand to facilitate flowmotion crafting! Items Expended: 1X Blue Eco 1X Precursor Orbs
  19. Law pulls out his Peacemaker gun, clamoring onto Mirri's Shoulder. "Yeah, I'm going to hang out up here for a bit, yeah?" he mutters nervously. The gun that is longer than he is tall weighs heavily in his little hands.
  20. Law wipes his face, hefting his new Builder's Wand. "There, that aught to do it!" He follows the rest of the party, with his new extremely heavy tools in hand.
  21. "Feel free" Law says, handing over the tech block. "I've got some goodies to look over anyway," he points out, rooting through the package of metal, canisters, and floating spheres.
  22. -Snowdin Outskirts Walking forward not ten meters, the group crosses around a bend in the road, encountering Sans and Papyrus standing in the middle of the path. He says, pausing for a moment as he notices the group. His eyes narrow as he scrutinizes everyone. He turns to Sans, who is now looking at the group. He turns back to the group, as Sans turns to look at Papyrus. He turns back to look at sans, Who is now looking at the group... Both of the skeletons are now shaking their heads frantically as they look between the group and each other at high speeds, dizzily spinning out of control. As they slow to a stop, Papyrus grabs his brother's shoulder and turns him away from the group, speaking in a loud sotto voice. Papyrus throws a hand to his chest. Seemingly noticing that the party is there, he clears his throat. He laughs maniacally as he dashes away, throwing up a cloud of snow behind him. Sans says, smiling vacantly as his brother disappears into the distance. He turns and walks away after Papyrus.
  23. -Snowdin Outskirts As Rachel opens the box, she notes the presence of a pink leather glove in it. "A worn pink leather glove. For five fingered folk." Arminius hears from nowhere. Toriel hums uncertainly. "It has been many years, but I believe the righthand path would be best." The child walks a very short distance to the left, and it becomes obvious why the right fork is better, as the left one dead-ends at an ice cold river. On the bank of the river, a fishing pole is stuck in the snow, line out in the water. The child reels it in, pulling up a photograph of a weird-looking monster. They read the writing on the back of the photo; "Call me! Here's my number!" it reads. The child raises an eyebrow, before tossing the line back into the water. Toriel's look of disdain is obvious as she narrows her eyes. "As I said, I believe the right-hand path would be best." -The Lab Lucine and Ignis find that the machine is leaking a cold pink slime... It smells like kelp. Jun finds that there are no phones laying around... Although, with all the junk here, there might be enough parts to construct one, to be honest. -True Lab Exiting the Elevator, Prodditor and Nader find themselves in a long hallway. Panels in the walls seem to house computer screens that light up as they approach. The hall bends to the left, leading into a larger room. The sound of electric humming from faulty wiring is especially loud here, and the lights waver from time to time. The only things fully functional seem to be the more advanced pieces of technology.
  24. "Wh-wh-what the?!" Law announces, looking around frantically. "Well, it's better than hell, I suppose." he finally concedes, looking around the area. "Oh! A mailbox!" Law exclaims, scampering over to it to check if he has any mail.
