Why, shouldn´t you be able to complete the police sidequest even if you got a Magikarp in an ealier episode?

SpoilerIf what I read is correct, you have to start it at the grand hall. I was never able to start it there since that guy just sold me his Magikarp (which I now possess)...

Before I started Episode 16, I never completed the Magikarp quest (as far as I remember).
Now the Police Side quest in Episode 16 won´t start and I can´t complete the Magikarp quest (maybe because I updated the slums?). -

I can't really answer this question for you since I don't know if the quest becomes unavailable after upgrading the Slums. Try asking around in the Save file fixing thread. Also since you upgraded the Slums you should be able to find a job for Maxwell, thus completing the jobs quest.

- No, you have to trigger the Magikarp getting stolen. You can still do this in Episode 16. I posted a guide on this sidequest here in this thread in page 33 try looking at it if you're having trouble doing this quest.
SpoilerThanks, turns out Maxwell just kept on talking about getting his boys a job even though they all already had one.
But I´m not too sure about the stolen pokemon guest. I looked it up but it can´t find people in any of the places listed. Is it possible that, by updating the slums, I made it impossible to complete this guest?

Hey, I have three questions:
- Is there a sideguest you can start at coral ward, where 4 people block the entrance to one of the buildings?
- I started the job-guest for team magma and found jobs for the members on 7th street. But I can´t find the remaining members. Any clues?
- Is there a way to start the police/imposter guest without the magikarp getting stolen in earlier episodes?

That´s why I was wondering if the fisherman is at the lake anyways or only if you talked to Simon. Because I can find the fisherman but he just talks about fishing. So I wondered if you have to do something else to trigger the event or if I just never spoke to Simon.

Hey, I someone already asked, but I can´t find it with the search function:
1. In tanzan cove I can dive and find the bodies. Also there is a fisherman standing east of the lake telling me about the empty house etc. Now I read about a sideguest including the lost ID-tag, but can´t seem to activate it. How can I know if I talked to Simon in last episodes?
2. This job search guest is making me crazy. I found so many applications but only one man to give it to. Do you have any hints as to where the other people could be?

Hey, not entirely stuck since I can still use Waterfall. But that´s all I can do. Can´t even use Escape Rope or initiate a battle to faint my Pokemon =(

I was diving and found a cave that changed appearence after I used Blizzard in a battle. Now I´m sitting here between the Ice on my little waterfall and can´t enter the Ice, Use escape rope or initiate a battle to faint me.

Give Scraty Wide Lense!! Since missing high jump kick is bad. If you have Scrafty + Donphan + Arcanine at the end, youll be fine since they all can hit it super effective.

Hey, this question is not sidequest related, but:
The pokedex shows me a lotad nest in coral ward. How exactly can I find lotad there? Did anyone encounter it?
