Yeah, it needs work. But the first real sprite I'm doing is going to be the male ace trainer. So right now I'm just figuring out graphicsgale. Anyways, thanks for the advice!

Lets just say your first sprite looks much better than my first sprite did.

Like @Cool Girl said, practice makes perfect, and shading definitely makes sprites pop out more.
