This game tried to be a Metal Gear Solid style game set in the Half Life universe with Half Life gameplay and Metal Gear Solid style cutscenes.

It failed at both. The Cutscenes are let down by ridiculously poor scriptwriting and voice acting. The Half Life gameplay is broken beyond repair.

In the final scene, Adam kinda looks as if he's sexually aroused and erotically enjoying being shot by bullets. 

And how does Mitchell suddenly know about Borealis?
