The gamecube had really great titles throughout its lifetime, though I was only able to play them through the backwards compatibility of the Nintendo Wii. With that, here are the top seven best Nintendo Gamecube games of all time.
(I don't even like resident evil.)
7. Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes - I honestly prefer the voice acting and graphics of the Original. Those graphics felt comfortable. That aside, the TTS cinematics look great. I can understand why this remake had to be made; So that younger players who needed facial expressions on the characters, as well as motion capture animation, can experience the Shadow Moses Incident. The voice Acting isn't half bad. And the MGS2 gameplay may have made the game too easy, but I can't help but have way too much fun with those controls. Not a bad remake, Just that I prefer the Original.
6. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - The Graphical Style wasn't really to my liking. I couldn't exactly take the character's looks seriously at first, though the environments were nice. The game actually controls better than Ocarina of Time. I had a lot of fun with the game, apart from the sections where you sail around endlessly.
5. Super Mario Sunshine - I was never the biggest Mario fan. But I had a lot of fun with the FLUDD mechanic. The visuals were excellent. For a 3D platformer, It was legendary.
4. Metroid Prime - The first entry in the beloved Prime trilogy and the First 3D Metroid. I love this game to death. The exploration, gameplay, environments, and attention to detail all made this game a worthy experience. Wish Other M had this level of quality.
3. Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance - I love wrecking people as Ike. In technical aspects, Radiant Dawn was a better game. But Path of Radiance was much more appealing to me than Awakening or Fates. Ike was a considerably more appealing character than Corrin. I'm still pissed that in order to get the game from Amazon, you have to pay a huge sum of money, probably because it wasn't that popular when it came out. How are people supposed to experience this game when the price is unreasonable?
2. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess - This is my Favorite Zelda of all time (Apart from Breath of the Wild, because Breath of the Wild was... different. I don't rank it with the other Zeldas.) The Dark Atmosphere and Story was what made this game for me. The Cinematics look gorgeous. The Dungeons were fun to go through. This game's Wii version has better controls, but even without those, on the Gamecube, This is still better than Four Swords Adventures and Wind Waker.
1. Super Smash Bros Melee - The Second best Smash Bros title. The fast paced gameplay, me playing as Marth and Falco, Mewtwo, and even the competitive scene before it became tired and repetitive, made this game what it was. The stages were great, and the characters were fun to play as, especially Marth, Falco, and Mewtwo (Even though he sucked competitively).
