Saffron closed her eyes in mourning. "It is a shame we can't give these bodies a proper burial. But we do have to make haste." She turned to her cousin. "Kegan, can you gather some firewood? Dash and Feri would you gather the bodies of the undead we put down? As well as the soldiers." "I'll help out as well dear." Anna stepped in, rubbing her hands together and ready for physical work. The princess nodded a thanks, and awaited until her companions gathered both the firewood and the bodies inside. She ordered them to arrange the bodies together and the firewood around the bodies. "It is common in the Dragao family to burn our dead; we don't have a crypt. It's a way to make sure the Kings and Queens of the Kingdom reach their proper place next to the Goddess. If we can't do anything else for them, we will make it easier for their poor and tired souls to reach the heavens above." "Everything is set Saffron." "Let's leave this church and burn it. Ecquis raises some good concerns so Hoshiko and Serene I'll ask for you help. Once everyone is outside I want you to light the firewood ablaze, and Hoshiko to destroy the crystal with an arrow. If any of it's foul magic escapes to the bodies they will be burned immediately."

The undead was much weaker than the others having just woken up and Serene's fire easily brought it down. With the undead's body in ashes the crystal seemed to lose some of it's glow. However ti slowly seemed to be regaining that light. "I think we can safely say we found the source of the undead." Feri rubs his chin in morbid curiosity. "But it clearly works off the principles of light magic; anima spirits are scared of the spirits that are traditionally use for necromancy but I can sense the wind is calm around us. Fascinating..." "This artifact is dangerous, whatever it is." Saffron said, having regained her composure. "I suggest we destroy it even if it bears the mark of the Goddess."

As you can see I have a new profile picture, it's Asuka from Hibike Euphonium being kind of stern and holding up a sign. I am replacing what is on that sign every day. Give me pictures of funny things to put on the sign and I will add them to my queue of things to put on the sign. You too can decide what Asuka holds up

Feri spent quite a lot of time looking at it. He rubbed his chin for a while, and then shook his head. "I cannot think of a single artifact in history that looks remotely like this. It's clearly magical by nature, but I don't sense anima spirits from it. I am going to conclude that it's built around light magic because of the symbols on it and where we found it." As Hoshiko and Serene approached the crystal it began to glow. Slowly a small beam of light, looking more like a tendril or an arm, made it's way out of the crystal. It approached Serene first, and then quickly dodged her and made it's way to Hoshiko. The tendril had no eye, yet it seemed to observe the two girls. Quickly after facing the pink haired archer, the tendril went past her and shot straight into one of the bodies on the ground. The body twitched, and slowly ever so slowly as undead do, it stood up. "Free... At last..." The body looked straight at Hoshiko and Serene, arms outstretched it started to take steps toward them.

The Fire Emblem is a shield buddy. It's in le legend and Saffron just said it.

Ecquis opened the doors to the church, a wide and tall set of iron doors. As they swung open a stench of rot spilled out. The church was filled with dead bodies; arranged to look like the shape of a dragon. In some places bodies were stacked around the torso, and two bodies piled on each other formed the head. Other bodies were arrange to make four legs, and a pair wings. "What is this..." Saffron covered her mouth and nose. "I think I'm going to be sick." "It seems that thing was quite literally building itself a body..." Further down the church was a floating crystal in a perfect diamond shape. About the size of a palm, it floated and spun slowly it's colors flickering between red and yellow as if a flame was trapped inside it. On each face of the diamond was the symbol of the church; a hooded woman holding her arms up to the sky. The most common depiction of the goddess, carved in gold against this strange crystal.

My guess is that capture isn't the most simple thing ever, and also as far as you've said the point of capture in the first place is to make le moneez something you are getting here right off the bat.

Game balance my friends. If you could loot every weapon what would be the point to having weapon quality in the first place.

Won't work. You cannot loot any dead bodies, the weapons will always be too broken for use.

Fu fu fu fu fu... Perfect segway into my next question! After all of this talk of dragons and churches is done there will be a small timeskip in which Saffron will distribute the funds given by Samwell. Now would you guys prefer for there to be a party money system where everyone shares from the same pool of money or I split the money I have planned and everyone has their individual sums? Either way shopping will be done OOC and the shop will be revealed after le timeskip.

Saffron looked back at her pegasus. "I left the soldier there. He is unconscious. I am no expert but I think he will make it." She turned back to Luka an uneasy look on her face. "The man who first founded Dragao, the first Dragon King. He original owner of this same spear and my ancestor. Legend says that before the Goddess banished all of the dragons while humans and dragons were still at war, the Dragon King lead the humans and Ignexus lead the dragons. He was monstrous said to be taller than mountains, with sword-like teeth, and wings that blocked out the sun. He was the last dragon slain before the Goddess came to bring peace." "Legends even go as far to say that the Fire Emblem was crafted from Ignexius' scales and the tears of the Goddess." Feri added, eaguer to add his own wisdom. "Of course; these are nothing but legends. Dragons did exist as we have bones and historical records that prove it." Saffron looked down at the ashes of the robes, seeming a bit disappointed. "However, this Ignexus seemed nothing like the legends. He wasn't tall, and he certainly didn't have sword-like teeth or large wings. He just seemed to be a man of flames, which is even stranger." Anna put her hands to her hips. "We can supply our selves, thank you very much. I think Ian and I will be traveling with you lot, but only because it's safer. And perhaps you will buy a few things from us hm? Ian and I are merchants you see, with nothing but the highest quality merchandise!"

"I fought in our back lines clearing out undead out in the forrest." "Splendid" "Let's see those brutes catch me now!" "Like coins falling into a purse."

"A man!?" Ignexus opened up his robes fully revealing that he had no actual body. His whole form was made of flame, vaguely in the shape of a human. Instead of a face there was flame shaped almost like a lizard's head. He stood still as Meredith attacked taking the hit. "Mortals are still as foolish as ever. Kneel." He ordered as he shot a flame at Meredith. As he is engaged with Meredith, the fire monster doesn't notice Rosalyva waking up. She swings her heavy blade, aiming for the creatures neck. Her slice cuts through an amulet at the center of it's robe breaking it into pieces. The moment it breaks the flames that form Ignexus turn black. "N-no... What have you done!?" he tries to grasp at the pieces scattered on the floor but his flame arms start disappear. "How dare you mortal!? I will not go back! Curse you; Curse all of you!" Using his leftover body he charges at Rosalyva but just before hitting her all of the flames disappear the remains of he robe scattered as ashes. [Victory!] Final Results: Saffron lands her pegasus, with Radburn on it's back. She approaches the group and sigh heavily in relief. "You did it; I was so worried there. I have no idea what that was but... I hope it wasn't... Actually Ignexus." Shortly after Feri, Dash, Keagan, Anna and Ian are gathered with the group around the church as well. "We've seen some strange things today. Those men were already dead, they seemed to be spirits revived and given body. If you can revive men... Would it be possible to revive dragons as well?"

The arrow pierces Ignexus' clothes. He sends a blast back at Hoshiko cursing her with the aliment that plagued her companions before. "The Goddess? She doesn't care about you any less than she cares about me. I'll become a god you can rely on. Kneel." Cheat Sheet: [Player Phase Continues]

[Enemy Phase] Ignexus attacks Rosalyva This time as Rosalyva goes in to attack again the flames split apart. They reappear around Rosalyva surrounding her in the toxic fumes that attacked her earlier. "Kneel. You stand before a dragon; after I regain my body I will never be defeated again. Be proud that all of you will assist in this." [Other Phase] Radburn is at Death's Door (2/3) [Ally Phase] Move to N7 and rescues Radburn Move to N6 "Did that thing say... Ignexus?" Saffron's expression grew pale. "Be careful, please! That thing is dangerous!" Ian's head jumps up as he is startled by the sudden noise. "Are you a friend of that wyvern rider? Thank you for worrying, but I am fine. Because of my condition I can't help in the fighting so I am staying put until things calm down." The hooded figure didn't seem to react at it's minions dying. Only when Rosalyva approached did it turn it's head towards her. "Mortals; useless in life useless in death. Hopefully all of you won't disappoint as much." It brings it's arm forward readying itself for combat. As Rosalyva rushes forward to attack the blade cuts through the robes but never seems to hit solid flesh. In fact it passes through the figure completely. Through the ripped robes a blast of fire shoots out and hits Roaslyva with toxic flames. "Do you even understand who you face, mortal? Of course you don't. I, Ignexus shall put you down and raise you again as a loyal body to serve in my coming conquest." Cheat Sheet:

The first fireball Serene shot hit the undead's hips making him fall over and drop the soldier it was carrying. The second hit lit it's torso ablaze leaving the undead squirming and shrieking until it was no more than ashes. Double post! Earlier I should have noticed but when Rosalyva passed next to the Knight his "Hold the Line" activates. It's written in the eratta of the first page; your MOV is reduce to 0 when you enter the space next to a knight. However, here it doesn't affect things since Rosalyva is still in range of the fighter. I understand that the next turn is going to be pretty boring so when the major players of the turn move (the people further up ahead) I'll speed things along so that we aren't stuck here for too long alright? The map is drawing an end! I've gotten feedback on this map already and I have plenty of things to improve so I'm sorry if this last part is boring. I'll fix this in future chapters!

[Enemy Phase] Soldier 2 moves to K9 and attacks Klaren Knight 1 attacks Klaren Mage 2 moves to I10 and attacks Klaren Klaren defeated both the soldier and the knight as they came for him, but the last undead snuck up behind. Gathering the purple fumes into a ball the mage shot them straight at the monk. This final blow is what brought Klaren to his knees. Burt moves to P18 and attacks Terrin The undead jailor shambled up, wanting to fight more. It rushed forward and missed as Terrin sidestepped and counter attacked this time roasting the undead for good. Fighter 5 moves to N6 ??? holds [Other Phase] [Ally Phase] Feri moves to J12 Saffron moves to M9 Dash moves to J11 and attacks Mage 2 Watching Klaren fall, Dash ran forward knife in hand. "Mister Klaren I'll save you!" Grabbing his knife by the blade he threw it forward making it spin in an arc. Note; next time undead appear there will be a revised version of Undead Fury. I have ideas how I will change the skill, but for now it will remain as it is. The next version will be less RNG based and a lot more player coordination based I believe. It will probably be more enjoyable than the current version. We'll see! For now this map will use this version of Undead Fury
