So, my guess is, that power is regeneration or something like that. As Shade said when leaving the WTC, 2 destinies fullfilled ( Corey's and Kiki's deaths ), 2 can live ( Amaria and Lin, even tho we saw Lin chopped into pieces when inside Shade's gym ). My guess is when Lin regenerates, she enters a sleep phase, that's why she faints ( again, told to you by best buddy Taka, when talked to, saying she considers Lin sick, "I can't remember the disorder's name for it: it's when you faint all of the sudden and you wake up later all fine" , by saying they usually find her fainted on the floor, and later she is all fine) .

It may be more than simple regeneration. I was looking through videos of the Reshiram route and her fallen sprite didn't have any blood stains in it. I thought it could be an oversight, but Taka's body sprite actually had blood over his back, so it must be something more than a healing factor.

I feel like we should open a club or something, where all of us could come up with theories and arguments about the game's plot.

It would be nice. The discussions are mostly about gameplay.

  2. You know, the stuff about the story in-game, spooky stuff, maybe what's going on with Lin's apparent immortality, or the Pokeballs south of the desert that could have been the ones Corey threw before commiting suicide, Pulse Garbodor being the reason Bixybyon became a wasteland etc.

    Wait no.

The Tower is there permanently after you visited 3 Oasis and went to the Tower.

Also if you surf through those ponds, you can catch Gliscor, when you don't want to waste your Razor Fang to evolve it.

Also you can fish Bruxish there. Not sure if it has to be the Twisted Place or the normal one. And i think it's with Super Rod.

Nice! I was afraid because it seemed like I'd need to get through 3 oasis over and over whenever I wanted to reach the tower.

  4. I already searched beforehand to know how to trigger its appearance and know that leaving it means I'd need to find 3 oasis again. So, I wanted to confirm everything that's in Mirage Tower before leaving it. So, as far as I know, it has:

    Honedge in a pedestal

Mimikyu after breaking all mirrors in ground floor

Phione in a pound via Super Rod after a fake exit.

Are there any other pokemon and/or items in Mirage Tower?

  5. Well, this is great! I disliked a lot how it seemed the story was cut off after we arrive in the Ultra Space, as if there is this whole thing planed out, like when you go to the future in Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky, yet in SM everything ended right there after finding and beating Lusamine. The existence of the recon squad, Ultra Metropolis and exploration of beyond the wormhole may expand upon the Ultra Space

In the concept of the actual show, levels don't exist.

Well, actually a kid in the early episodes in a pokemon academy points out levels while explaining the specifics of Pidgey evolving during early episodes. But yeah, that wasn't followed and soon abandoned. Meanwhile, in the manga, they follow the existance of levels, with Red and Green pointing out by the Fire Red/Leaf Green arc that it is nearly impossible for their pokemon to get stronger now in Kanto and they'd need to do so somewhere else. In special, Black himself keeps an eye constantly in the progression of his pokemons levels and the accuracy of their moves with his pokedex.

But yeah, in the end it doesn't really matter much. Levels as a whole are mostly a symbol for us to keep tabs in the growth of the pokemon... like power levels!

  7. He probably lost the thingy that was possessing him. Geara and Narcissa's husband are technically two different people. Geara's sprite has a Ghost in his shadow, indicating he is possessed. And now, he probably isn't anymore.

Or who knows? Maybe he needed Giratina to function properly. Without it he enters in disarray and now is wandering mad with multiple personalities and stuff

Ohhh, thanks for that! I only tried to interact with the tile, didn't think about interacting with the wall in front of the tile! I will screenshot the sequence and add it in the beginning of the next chapter for completeness! :)

No problem. If you wanna know if there are missable cutscenes ahead or something we can give you a lead

It's just so irritating to see Dragonite on a team with Jangmo-o and Axew all at almost the same level...but then I never really forgave Lance for using those 3 illegal Dragonites against you in Gold/Silver either

Well, we raided the Rocket hideout to stop them from using a machine that forcefully evolves pokemon. We just never actually *saw* Lance getting rid of it

Ohhh, I must've missed that... Damn, that ship was like a maze... Thanks! And I'm sorry for having 3 uneventful chapters in a row. Will get better now that the introductions have finished :)

Edit: @Lord C I started it from the beginning and didn't find this sequence... However, it does ring a bell, maybe it was in an older version and got changed now? I am not sure.

Found it. When your mother's room is locked and before you talk to the captain, head to the room left to your mother's. There will be marks near the right wall at the top of the stairs.

Only thing that comes to mind for me is AMR2 (Another Metroid Remake 2)

unfortunately it got cease and desisted by Nintendo and is a hard find.

on the other hand there are tons and I mean TONS of indie games on steam that are heavily inspired by a lot of games that are dirt cheap.  My personal favorites are Guacamelee and Shantae.

Love those games. I also tried other indies, but guess I'll go look for more since games like Axiom Verge had a lot of what I wanted. Gonna try the Metroid Remake too

There is a Super Mario World romhack named 'call of cthulhu'. I think it's based of a book. But you should look it up because it's still a fun game if you didn't read the book.

That seems friggin awesome and I'm totally gonna try it out

    Why didn't you say earlier?

There are lots of Zelda fangames, but most got ceased. I never were a Zelda player/fan, so i didn't go through them, but the "Ocarina of Time 2d" fangame, really caught my eye!

Metroid? Best fangame on it, is "Another Metroid 2 Remake". It was even nominated for "Best fan Creation of 2016", in an official contest! Got ceased, but fortunately, you can still locate its download easily! 1.1 is the latest version, get this one and start playing, it is GREAT! 2 hours or less you beat the game, there is a "surprise" for you, too (he he he)!

Best mario fangame i have played myself, is "Super Mario Bros X". Has crossover features from the best, most classic Mario games ever... The old Bros titles and the World, from SNES! They even create random episodes (something like mods/expansions), so this is the thing! It even has Link from Zelda as a playable character, you HAVE TO try it!

You are forgetting Castlevania, though... Not a Nintendo exclusive series, but still... Best fangames on it are, in order of quality: "Castlevania: The Lecarde Chronicles 2" and "Castlevania the Lecarde Chronicles". 2 is after the style of "Symphony of the Night", the best in the series and one of the best games ever made of all time, with Konami allowing the developer to make this game (one of the very few "legal" fangames i have ever come across), a voice actor from the official games doing some work on this one's character(s) and other good stuff. 1 is more like the classic games of old and way more difficult, obviously...

Best fangame and widely known too, but not of Nintendo, is "Streets of Rage Remake version 5.1", of Sega. This is a masterpiece and not a paragraph, not a page, can even describe it well enough. Old arcade players and beat em up fans, merely sink in and lose their gamer's life, with this one. It also gets regular modifications and crossovers with other classic arcades of old, or custom made scenarios, so there is always something new to do with it. Seriously, get this gem right now!

Dat Castlevania and Mario are directly on the tops of my list to try now After that I'll go for the others. Thanks!
