  1. Quick RP question that doesn't warrant a post. Is it better to have a time system (breakfast, break, lunch, Ect.) that's controlled by the authors, or should the players use their own discretion to keep it moving?

      i think better if it is controlled by the authors because that way the story can move forward at a proper pace that the RP master wants :)

      There are good examples of both. Such as my own RP The Tenth God running a system where I split up the RP into different phases. But most RPs leave it to their players

      It depends on how technical you want your RP to be. Running different time phases is very meta and takes away a bit from storytelling

      Generally you'll want to have some time constraints to keep the plot moving (cough end of chapter and such), but I generally would let the players control time.
