    Looking at the critic reviews of Suicide Squad, I question if I should say I told you so. Maybe they'll stop trying to make the DC movies dark and edgy...

      It's not the tone of the movies that are the problem(Dark knight was good and it was one of the darkest ones), it's the pacing mainly, messy storytelling, shaky writing and pointless self-indulgent scenes(dream sequences in BvS for example, which added NOTHING of value to the movie), and in SS's case a rough production.

      True enough. It just feels like DC keeps making questionable choices with their movies. Maybe it's just because I like there to be some level of intellect to a movie. The issue is, we've seen that DC can make good content, (Flash and Arrow shows) but with its track record, I'm just a little sad.
