    Isn't there a chance of getting a Wingull before Florina(and Julia for that matter) too?

    The only way to get a Wingull as of right now is at Apophyll beach.

    Yeah, there is. You can get two of the following: Panpour, Wingull, Zigzagoon and Pachirisu before Julia. There's also Lightningrod Goldeen from the fisherman's house.

    I thought they changed it to where you couldn't get a Wingull anymore?

    Pretty sure the Game Corner Arcade is accessible before the 2nd gym, so you can always buy a Slugma if you need help with Florina. (Only pure Fire type obtainable besides the starters to my knowledge.)

    Numel is also available of course, but he'd get knocked out quicker considering he is also part ground.

    (Of course this is really only necessary if you do decide for the Water starter.)

    I'd probably be an Ice/Psychic gym.
    I'd be the 7th or 8th gym; most likely 7th.
    The town where my gym was located wouldn't be much of a town. It'd be up in a colder environment, where it's snowing constantly. There would be houses, but there would be a lack of people in them. There would be a pokemon center with Nurse Joy and a Hiker. If the player decided to speak to that person, they would be told something along the lines of this:
    "Aye, a new face! Haven't seen one of you in a long while, ahahaha! What are you doing up here? Marveling at the avalanches or are you here to challenge the gym? Probably the latter."
    If spoken to again, he'd pose a question:
    "Aye... Do you know anything about the gym leader?
    >Yes
    >No"
    Yes:
    "Ah, then never mind me, aha."
    No:
    "No? Well, then I guess I can tell you a little something. She's notorious for her odd showing up here. See, this place used to be like your other towns. We would get all the four seasons of the year, with Summer being the longest here. There were flowers rolling along the hills and the forest, and an abundance of all kinds of pokemon. Since we're so secluded here, we became wellknown for our rare pokemon that would come here naturally. Eevee's, Minccinos, Deerling, Litleos... Heck, we even had some Togepis who made themselves home here! Lots of trainers would come and visit, trying to catch themselves one of our rare pokemon. If it wasn't a trainer, it would be some people coming to see our gorgeous forest and all the foliage in it.
    "But then one day, she came. We never really knew her name; didn't think much of her, either. She moved in here, and caught herself an Eevee. It'd follow her around town, chasing Butterfrees and Beautiflies. She was an odd one. Very... Cold. Scared. Wouldn't talk much. We called her "Miss" at first, having not known her name. She then started to correct us, telling us to call her "Mistress."
    "That's why, when this town changed, it came as a shock. She'd been training up some strong pokemon; Ice types, you know. Psychic, too. She trained 'em up so strong, she made it so that they could freeze over this whole town and leave it a permanent frozen wonderland. It was like the world froze. The pokemon left with frostbite, the flowers were crystallized, and the trees turned into ice sculptures. People left, and now only a couple remain.
    "She's a good girl, you know... Just... Well, I don't know."
    The gym would be located in an icy mansion that would be in the forest that had previously harbored the rare pokemon and been the town's main sight-seeing location. The trainer would only really find ice types like swinub, smoochum, and meditites in the remaining frozen grass. Upon entering the icy mansion, the trainer would be spotted by a Espeon, which you then chase down into the back room to find the gym leader. There wouldn't be a puzzle to the gym.
    The Gym Leader herself would be small. Her hair would be white and bangs cut straight while two pieces hang down the sides to border her face. The pieces would reach down to her knees, and towards the bottom have two ribbons tied into bows on them. The rest of her hair would fall down to her knees and be pin-straight. Her eyes would be red, the eyelashes and eyebrows white. She would be clad in [surprise] white and pastel blue and wouldn't wear any shoes. Her attire would be an intricate corset, a large bow in the back spanning out and trialing to the floor. Her skirt would be tiered, short, and lacey. Bandages would be on her ankles and a garter on her thigh.
    She'd be quiet, almost far off. She wouldn't be paying very much attention, though she would speak:
    "Someone is singing, I know this song. It's a soft, sad melody that wrings my heart, a song that someone used to sing to us... a long long time ago." *turns foreward* "Hey...who are you?"

    After the battle:
    "Hm? Why did I freeze this place?
    ...
    This is what I have wished for. I don't want to hurt anybody anymore. I don't want to lose anything else. So, please understand."

    I must admit I was surprised to see this topic. Not many people seem to want to talk about religion, especially on a forum for a game.

    ^Same. Honestly it can cause unnecessary conflict and drama, and to an extent, even judgement from immature people that cannot respect opinions.

    Regardless however, I believe in a God, but not enough to call myself Christian for it. I don't believe in a heaven or hell, I believe that once we pass from this life, we reincarnate into another world/time period/etc. After we have lived enough lives to gain enough knowledge, we become more powerful beings.

    I've grown up in a Catholic household, so I've had my fair share of experience, but I never really connected with it.

    Regardless, if I keep blabbing, I'll never shut up hahah. Religion is a huge topic, and honestly, you just never know for sure. You trust your beliefs and you follow them. And you don't criticize/bash on people with different beliefs from yours. The only thing that proves is that you're an asshole.

    Side note, the mentions of a new Malphite skin on the PBE have been removed. Looks like no Malphite skin until 5.19 at least.

    That made my day.

    And honestly, that sucks with the Malphite skin. I was kind of excited for it.

    Phanpy's Pickup Ability

    Just use Bulbapedia for all that info. Also, there are Dedenne at that level in the Tanzan Cove, so if you're there just catch one. And there are Linoones and Pachirisus at the low fifties in Route 1 and the Aventurine Woods respectively.

    I so would, but I'm not anywhere close to that area yet sadly. Definitely will make use of those once I make it that far.

    Phanpy's Pickup Ability

    After hearing about how great the pickup ability really can be, especially for grinding, I've decided to grab a Phanpy and train it up to at least lv 41. However, should I keep Phanpy from evolving, or is it alright to evolve Phanpy into Donphan and still have the Pickup Ability?

    Thank you all! And I apologize for posting this in the wrong area at first.

    Going to grab the Espurr that I somehow forgot to get in Peridot,,

    And I have a Pidgey that needs to be trained up also, along with my Goldeen and Growlithe.

    Time to spend the whole night grinding hah.

    Can't wait to grab that Zubat.... I'm closer than I thought I'd be for it.

    1. Dark: You have to love the natural tankiness and hard to counter types. (The fact that I cannot write this in black upsets me.)

    2. Psychic: I love the power that they have, and the effectiveness overall.

    3. Ice: I love stab moves and how ice types can pretty much cover most of their weaknesses.

    Azir is only two points behind Katarina in popularity, and she's a rather popular champion.

    My resources must suck, haven't really seen him played and lolking said he was pretty unpopular as of right now. Or maybe I just don't know how to read a graph correctly, which may be the case hahah.

    I wouldn't put it past Riot to do something like that to be honest. He's definitely deserving of it at this point, and he hasn't received a secondary skin yet. In addition, he's also an older champion than Kalista, so there's probably a reason they're waiting to so long to give him a skin. While Sivir is by far the most deserving, she's got a TON of skins right now and already got one this year.

    I honestly doubt they'll give it to Azir. Although true he hasn't gotten his secondary skin yet, and its already been around a year, he is pretty low in popularity. Victorious skins typically go to popular champions with a stable year-round status. I can definitely see Sivir getting it, but Tristana also has a good chance as well.
