  1. A complete mobile version compatible with Reborn probably won't occur until the game is close to being done/is already done.

Awhile ago I've heard that it was a possibility, but like said, definitely won't happen right now at least.

I've went to extreme measures and I've downloaded the files on my old phone last year to try and get something to work, but that only left me with approximately 2,000 sound files that I ended up using as alarms haha.

  2. For Fighting types, I've done this before, so mind if I just copy-paste?

Now, for a Fighting type, there's 5 really good ones in Reborn, Hitmonlee, Toxicroak, Mienshao, Hawlucha and Scarfty. The only ones of those you can get right now are Toxicroak, Machamp and Scrafty, though you'd have to wait a few gyms more and you can get all of them, but you'd need to wait almost as long to get their best moves, like Dragon Dance on Scrafty. For movesets, best would be:

-Unburden, Blaze Kick, High Jump Kick, Bullet/Mach Punch, Thief (TM later) for Hitmonlee. Another option would be Reversal and Endure instead of High Jump Kick and Blaze Kick or the priority, that option lets you get the Unburden boost easier, though Gems are a thing, so it's no big deal anyways.

-Poison Touch, Poison Jab, Drain Punch, Sucker Punch, Bulk Up (E12) for Toxicroak. The chain for both Drain Punch and Bulk Up is in the guide.

-Reckless, High Jump Kick, Knock Off, Acrobatics(E12 or TM waaaaay later)/Poison Jab(E12)/Rock Slide (E12) for Mienshao (Farfetch'd for Knock Off, Acrobatics and/or Poison Jab, Camerupt>Donphan>Mienfoo for Knock Off and Rock Slide(Acrobatics is a TM you get way later)).

-Unburden, High Jump Kick, Acrobatics, Swords Dance/Poison Jab(E12)/Rock Slide(E12) for Hawlucha (just continue the chain for Mienshao to get these moves onto Hawlucha) (Feather Dance is also an option to make setting up stupidly easy, which is why I'd say it's the best Fighting type in the game right now)

-Moxie, Dragon Dance, Ice Punch, High Jump Kick, Crunch for Scrafty. Since this one doesn't have Unburden, you can give it a Wide Lens to make High Jump Kick 99% accurate.

For Fairy types, you've got yourself Granbull, Clefable, Sylveon, Azumarill (if you did the Growlithe trade before E15 or if you get lucky in E15) and I guess Whimsicott.

-Granbull is pretty physically bulk especially with Intimidate, has great coverage and hits pretty hard. It's especially useful if you have a TR setter to help with that terrible speed.

-Clefable's biggest plus is that it has the bulk that let's it pull of a Minimize, Charge Beam, Cosmic Power, Stored Power set very well. Minimize makes you almost unhittable (especially with Cute Charm as it's ability), Comsic Power makes it so that you take almost no damage when you do get hit, Charge Beam buffs up that not-so-great Sp.Atk, Stored Power is your nuke button. With evasion, both defenses and your sp.atk at max, Stored Power has 500 BP, which is frightening without taking into account that your Sp.Atk is at +6.

-Sylveon's my favorite Fairy type because of it's combination of Pixilate and Trump Card, which gives it a 390 BP nuke which can be fired off turn one (just go waste some PP battling wild Pokemon or something). It's also got godly Sp.Def. But like all Eevelutions, it's other coverage options are terrible.

-Azumarill can be used in 2 ways, either a Belly Drum set-up-er (though that means you'll almost exclusively be using Aqua Jet) or just with 4 attacks (where you can do whatever you want, Azumarill has the bulk to take a hit or two).

-Whimsicott is really more of a supporter, it's Sp.Atk is really not that good. But it can trivialize all "boss fights", against a single Pokemon that's much higher level than any of yours, which happen a lot. But if that's what you wanna use it for, a Prankster Murkrow with Perish Song is way better. I wouldn't use either as a member of my default 6 though.

    For sets, in order:

    -Intimidate, Play Rough, Outrage/Fire/Thunder/Ice Fang/Crunch/Close Combat/Brick Break(TM later)/ Iron Tail(tutor later)/Earthquake(pre-E13 breeding(the chain would be Sandshrew/Diglett/Wooper/Numel>Snubbul or Sandshrew/Diglett/Wooper/Numel>Mankey>Snubbul for EQ and CC))

-Cute Charm, Minimize, Comsic Power, Charge Beam, Stored Power.

-Pixilate, Trump Card, Hidden Power (ideally Ground), Shadow Ball, Round (TM in the Obsidia Department Store). Another options would be Trump Card (without wasting PP in the wild), Round, Curse and Hidden Power Ground/Dig. Curse buffs up your bad physical defense, so that you can stay in on anything and spam Pixilated moves. Ground+Fairy is almost perfect neutral coverage, so use either Dig or Hidden Power Ground (Dig is obviously way easier to get, pre-E13 breeding (via Sandshrew/Diglett/Onix/Dunsparce>Eevee))

-Huge Power, Belly Drum, Aqua Jet, Waterfall, Play Rough or Huge Power, Waterfall, Play Rough, Superpower/Bounce (tutor later)/Brick Break/Aqua Jet/Body Slam.

-Prankster, Tailwind/Memento/Leech Seed/Encore/Stun Powder. (Just FYI, Prankster only ups the priority of status moves by 1 level, so Trick Room would still have -6 priority)

For where I said "pre-E13" or "E12", that's where you need the old breeding system where TMs could be passed on. The pinned guide here should cover all your needs and/or you can send me a PM.

Thank you! Definitely going to use those tips for my Scrafty, and once I get a Ditto, I'll definitely breed my Eevee that way I can have a Sylveon. Never had one, and it sounds pretty badass.

  3. I'd personally use honey gatherer combee over buying honey as it is a lot cheaper in a game where you aren't exactly rich!

Unless honey is extremely expensive, I am pretty wealthy. If necessary, I have a lot of items I can sell too and make a decent profit off of. It'll probably be faster just to buy it than search for a Combee, and have it gather enough honey.

  4. Honey can be bought from the Lapis Floral Shop as well as gained if you have a Honey Gatherer Combee in your party.

Is it possible to open the grand stairwell gates just so I can get to Lapis fast for the honey then, or will I have to run all the way back through the woods and tanzan? (I'm holding off on the Psychic Gym right now if that determines anything.)

  5. I've been stuck in route 1 and the woods for over an hour trying to get to the Ice Rock to evolve my Eevee into a Glaceon. Where is the honey that I need to help progress myself?

  6. This is for Pokémon Rejuvenation, but I wouldn't mind making another one for Reborn. :)

Screaming internally because I'm an idiot who forgot to read the title correctly hahah. (I've been doing that a lot lately too.)

If it doesn't exist for Reborn however, I would love for you to make one for that as well. Regardless this guide will be helpful once I start playing Rejuvenation.

  7. what about both?

they are both good in reborn, and i definitely recommend getting both for your team!

though if you only wanted one, just go with garde!

Missed out on the Ditto opportunity in the Black Steam factory, so I can't breed for now.

Well, Gardevoir is better than Gallade and also fits your team better (ditch that Meowstic). But to be honest, there's better for both. There's a lot of better options.

-For Gallade, Medicham has the slightly better physical bulk, worse Sp.Def (although neither is supposed to be tanking hits anyways), waaaay better offenses, equal speed and better coverage.

-For Gardevoir, most people seem to run Calm Mind, but it's slow and can't take a physical hit at all, so you'll often just be outsped and killed. If you don't run CM, there's a lot of Pokemon that have equal or higher Sp.Atk. Say, Reuniclus can take hits on both sides way better than Gardevoir, is much more reliable and can run both CM and Trick Room, TR either supporting slower teams or just helping out this really-hard-to-kill blob. If you don't care about CM, Alakazam is waaay faster and hits way harder. Gothitelle initially doesn't hit as hard as Gardevoir, but has way better physical defense, so it can afford to set up more CMs, so it ends up hitting harder. It's also at a speed tier where you can run Trick Room as well, though Reuniclus is better than Gothitelle all around.

'Course, those are just the ones I consider to be "upgraded versions" of Kirlia's evos. Say the word and I'll come up with some Fighting/Fairy alternatives

I'd love to hear about your Fighting/Fairy alternatives. Could prove to be very useful in many cases.

  8. I don't see this being against the rules, considering there are similar guides for both items and obtainable Pokemon.

Thank you for taking the time to write this, and hopefully update it occasionally! I will try to help provide answers to any TMs that haven't been listed yet but I have found.

Charge Beam is given to you after defeating Julia if I'm not mistaken btw.

  9. Obviously as the title states, which would you recommend being better as of where I am currently in the story? Fighting Noel right now, but I need to grind up some more, and I think leveling up my Ralts would be nice to do alongside the grinding.

Sure, Gallade has access to more moves, and has fewer weaknesses in general, and would be pretty well in this fight against Noel.

But Gardevoir has an incredible Sp ATK, and can easily sweep better.

Currently, I have 1 good Psychic type and 1 good Fighting type on my team. (Meowstic, and Scrafty), so I have room for both of them without overstocking up on a type.

Also, if Gallade proves to be the better of the two, where can I grab a Dawn Stone (if one is available as of now.)

    Thanks!

  10. Not to be too much of an ass here but...

You shouldn't be playing this game if you can't handle grinding your pokemon. Yeah, it sucks and it can take a lot of time, but it's supposed to be your game, your team, etc.

Regardless, you're going to be waiting for someone to do your work if someone actually agrees to grinding for you, instead of just spending around the same time grinding alone. That's laziness and well, it's lame. And it makes your game involve less of you.

Yeah, it's your choice, and if someone is willing to do it, then it's their choice as well. But I don't recommend it.

It takes some of the fun out of the game in my opinion. Battling with Pokemon you didn't raise all on your own.

  11. I'd agree with the point about Lileep but Taka's chatot is still the devil itself. Chatter seems to destroy everything. It isn't as bad as he gets but he is by no means a pushover.

I see where you're coming from with that, but in a 2v1 scenario, Chatot can be destroyed easily at that level. It doesn't turn into the true devil until the levels start increasing more in my experience.

  12. Who are some good Top lane champions? I just realized I have very few champs I can play there (Garen and possibly Nautilus and Teemo who I've recently started taking Mid). Nasus doesn't seem particularly strong at the moment and feels like there is a lot of counter-play to him. Any recommendations?

Depends on your play style, but I love Fiora up there right now. I'm not a huge top-laner myself, but whenever I need to, I usually go with her. Lissandra is starting to get back into the top meta also, but she's usually just used if additional AP is necessary on the team.

  13. Assuming you are where I think you are due to your pokemon levels, you're about to face Corey or you have already beaten him.

Regardless, you should always have a team of 6 on you. Your pokemon right now are decent, and provide good coverage, but you could use a Psychic type.

You can get an Espurr in a house in the Lower Peridot Ward, after continuously giving a homeless guy change (around 3 times.) You will have to grind it up a bit, but it is so worth it once you do. Meowstic becomes extremely strong and fast, and is currently my main Psychic type.

Once you beat Corey (or if you already have), you can buy a Rose Incense in the Lapis Ward flower shop, which attracts a Budew on a sunny day in the Peridot Ward.

Otherwise, your team is pretty good. You just need to fill the other spots up.

  14. Just gonna post this for anyone who happens to be looking for help and stumbles upon this post.

Always gang up on Zel's pokemon first. Lileep doesn't do much, besides the occasional confuse ray of course. Once you knock the eeveelutions out, it becomes a 2v1 fight against Taka, who doesn't typically have very good pokemon at this point.

  15. As the title says, I'm having a lot of trouble with Serra.

My main Pokemon right now are:

    Torterra: Lv 47

    Tackle

    Crunch

    Razor Leaf

    Earthquake

    Luxray: Lv 46

    Swagger

    Crunch

    Thunder Fang

    Spark

    Arcanine: Lv 48

    Outrage

    Crunch

    Flamethrower

    Flare Blitz

    Crobat: Lv 48

    Air Slash

    Poison Fang

    Venoshock

    Acrobatics

    Meowstic: Lv 46

    Signal Beam

    Shadow Ball

    Extrasensory

    Psychic

Obviously my Crobat and Torterra are kind of out on this battle, and I can't seem to use Arcanine to sweep through her Pokemon easily. What are some good Pokemon I can catch right now that will help my odds against Serra? Also, where are good places to grind them that are available to me? I have a Slugma that I'm grinding with right now, so he should be able to help me out, but I still have two spots that need to be filled. Thank you for the help!

  16. Kanto:

Favorite: Lorelei. I might be a little biased because of Ice types but I still loved battling her.

Least Favorite: Bruno. Obvious reasons lmfao.

    Johto:

Favorite: Karen. You have to love that speech.

Least Favorite: WHO DO YOU THINK??

Hoenn: (I barely remember, haven't played Gen 3 in ages and never got to buy ORAS.)

    Favorite: Don't remember.

    Least Favorite: Don't remember.

    Sinnoh:

Favorite: Flint. I love his personality.

Least Favorite: Either Bertha or Aaron. They bored me.

(Cynthia outranks them all, I couldn't help myself I had to add this. I love her.)

    Unova:

Favorite: Grimsley. I liked his character.

Least Favorite: Marshal. He's not even someone I can remember well.

    Kalos:

    I never got to play X&Y. :(

  17. No, I think that you can still get Wingull from those two events.

Also, you should avoid double-posting in the future. There's an 'edit' function down by the bottom of each post.

Yeah, my apologies. The quotes put me in a different box, I need to watch out for that.
