Ahhh, thank you!

It's been ages since I've felt like playing this game, but finally, the feeling overcame me. I picked it up and realized I was lost because I forgotten what I was doing!
I know I have beaten the psychic gym and the Arceus guy, and I went through that black market subplot thing with the Arceus guy, I think. e_e All I remember is, I got sick of grinding and took a loooong break.
-
It happens with Pokemon a lot for me, and Animal Crossing. I'll play and tolerate grinding for weeks, but then, bam, I just feel so unmotivated. But I definitely do think it has to deal with grinding/ general tedious things though. Uugh I have like 3 team members I need to grind in reborn and just. Nah.
-
*Playing for days straight* Ahahahahah Reborn is so fun I can't wait to get to the end of Ep 15-
*suddenly stops and doesn't play for months and months*
Does anyone else get like this sometimes?
-
Aw, boo. XD Awh well, I like Alakazams' moveset anyways, and I need a psychic type to deal with poison mons. I didn't keep encore though, I gave it reflect and recover with psychic and future sight. I think it's speedy enough to set up reflect and such, so yeah! Good mon anyways.
-
I note it has an egg move, encore, but soft resetting hasn't changed that yet. I just got one with Magic Guard as its ability, but I was wondering if it happens to have any other egg moves worth more than encore? Otherwise Magic Guard seems pretty sweet, and I might keep it.

Welp. I went into the battle, prepared to try super fang + CC with Noivern and Zangoose after grinding for a while in Opal with some backup team members, Murkrow in tow just in case.
At level 60, my Noivern, Otachi, outsped god, hit twice with superfang, then twice with air cutter. One air cutter caused a flinch, and the other was a crit. ._.
-strokes dragon bat- Good girl thank you ;o;
-
Ooh, I see. Alrighty, I'll keep that page bookmarked for whenever I reach the end of Ep 15... Whenever that may be. X3
-
yes murkrow i didn't know your catchrate was actual hell and i am truly glad you have perish song but please. please dont use it. i just wish to catch you.You people are a lot of actual help though, thank you so much. After I finally manage to get lucky and get this darn Murkrow, I'm going to... Relax a bit and grind my Skrelp and Hondour up as backup team members in Opal, but I will absolutely try the SF and CC strategy a few times before falling to Murkrow.
-
Even level 1 works. Murkrow has Prankster, so it gets priority, so even a level 1 Murkrow's Perish Song goes before even a level 75 Arceus. And no need for Destiny Bond, soince it doesn't get it and Perish Song kinda does the same thing, just slower.
So Perish Song is just an egg move it can learn when you grab it? Alright, soft reset-hoy. It least I've got a few Ability Capsules I need to use.
Give us your tell and maybe we'll pull something out of it.
Team? Well, I'm heading back to get the Murkrow anyways
if I can figure out where I can get back to Tanzan that is, but my team could always use some work. Plus, might as well grab a Skrelp while I'm out as a backup member alongside Murkrow. ._.Serperior, LV 54, holding Miracle Seed, Contrary: Slam, Leaf Blade, Leaf Tornado, Giga Drain
Noivern, LV 55, holding Wide Lense, Frisk: Razor Wind, Super Fang, Air Slash, Air Cutter
Floatzel, LV 55, holding Splash Plate, Water Veil: Crunch, Aqua Jet, Aqua Tail, Swift
Camerupt, LV 57, holding Quick Claw, Anger Point: Earthquake, Lava Plume, Rock Slide, Earth Power
Zangoose, LV 54, holding Fist Plate, Immunity: Close Combat, Taunt, X-Scissor, Night Slash
Manectric, LV 54, holding Nevermeltice, Minus: Bite, Discharge, Thunder, Ice Fang

Ah... -flops in defeat- I guess I did want a Murkrow in the first place, eh?
What level should I train 'im up to be then? And it needs to have Destiny Bond too? And does evolving it to Honchkrow help any?
-
I have none of those things with me right now ugh. I immediately disliked El and refuse to side with him but good god. ._. I really like having to go through a punishing battle for a choice I make, yep. I know it's not impossible, yet it just rubs me the wrong way. Maybe I'm just butthurt right now.
Bleh. I'll try and find some suggestions, I'd... Really rather not run alllllllll the way back to Reborn from this cave just to grab one 'mon I am only going to use once most likely.
-
AH YES I LOVE A MANDATORY FIGHT WITH A LEVEL 75 GOD WHICH OUTSPEEDS EVERYTHING AT MY CURRENT LEVEL AND NOTHING I CAN DO CAN REALLY HELP AND RESETTING MEANS HAVING TO GO THROUGH A DECENT CHUNK OF DIALOGUE WITH A CHOICE AT THE END SO I CAN'T JUST SPAM A WITHOUT POSSIBLY MUCKING UP THE CHOICE I ACTUALLY WANT TO MAKE
-tosses Ditto off the damn tower and hopes it splats below-
... I need help with an Arceus battle -sobs-

So after realizing I had downloaded the wrong verson of Rejuvination, I shrugged and made a new file for it. Why not just play v 6 and 5-5 side by side? Though to my suprise, that didn't matter, and the games overlapped, automatically just making a new verson of my new save file. This got me wondering, since Reborn and Rejuvination are similar, if that would just happen if I downloaded another Reborn onto my computer. I've been wanting to go through the game again, but not at the cost of all my current data and hard work. So if I wanted to play through Reborn again and made another folder and downloaded it again, would I regardless have to delete my save file to actually play though it?
-
Ooh. Well, then I ought to fix that up. >>
-
5-5, from the mediafire link. That is the most recent one?
-
So I keep hearing tell of these jackpot starters, but I didn't get that event? I chose my starter, a Piplup, and I just kinda went along the game as normal. Did I miss something? Because and Eevee or Axew sound awesome as team members.
Also, is Murkrow seriously axed? D: I've been wanting to use a Honchkrow, dang.
-
So... Murkrow is unavailable to catch, and its popping up on my Pokedex map is untrue? >:
-
never mind I didn't read before posting. >> My fault, ignore.
-
Thats def stuff I'll keep in mind. I never even thought of Ludicolo! Isn't it bulky? Roserade and Ludicolo could def fit if I needed either a bulky mon or a speedy hitter and switch off. I can be anal about typing on my team, though so I'll have to consider on that one. XD What is the chance of getting Maril from that egg, anyways?
I've heard nice things about Granbul, plus I love bulldogs whoop. XD A lot of these are just 'mons I've wanted to use, but have never really had the consideration to use whenever I was teambuilding before, in any game, really. And yeah, no weakness Eelektross, thats... Pretty sweet. I was actually going to use a Crobat in a Firered run, then I learned Golbat can't evolve into Crobat until you get the National Dex and just kinda went :I
pets pink plague doctor birb anyways -
I'm pretty sure that whenever I get to the end of Chapter 15, I'm going to make a second game folder to replay it through with some different 'Mons. Obviously from these lists, I already have a few Pokemon already picked out, but I was definitely wondering if anyone had some advice or maybe something better to use? Plus some moveset suggestions would be nice. I'm no competetive battler, but those gym battles are some kind of hell trying to muscle through when you don't have the right moves.
Team 1 Idea:
Team 2 Idea:
OR (SIXTH MEMBER ??)
Team 3 Idea:
(SIXTH MEMBER ??)

Of course, Dragelge is a big 'if' on Team 2 and 3, and Eelektross and Ampharos are kind of interchangable right now, but Eelektross is being highly considered mostly due to the fact that I haven't used it before. I like trying to do different things each time, but I definitely want a well balanced team. What do you people think?
-
Well, I don't get a textbox saying 'its super effective!' either. Discharge does a bit more than half, but rock slide wasn't doing a whole lot. Sounds like it just might be the sound bugged though?
Ohh wait. Yeah, okay, that's actually probably it, SkyRunner. It's windy in game. Okay, not a bug, just gameplay!

As far as I know, and from what I saw on Bulbapedia, Swellow is weak to ice, rock, and electric moves, and doesn't have any ability where it would get neutral damage from those moves.
While fighting Noel and his Swellow (which I am beginning to dislike) I send out my Camerupt and had it use Rock Slide. Neutral damage. Huh? Sent out my Manectric, had it use Ice Fang. Neutral damage. Discharge? Neutral damage! If this is just an ability or something, let me know, because it's peeving me off in a typical video game rage sort of way, but still. XD
