  1. Hmmm... Seems like you already tried everything I would have told you to try...

But what exactly did did you do when the Touchpad stopped working properly? and don't say "nothing"! - You must have done something, because you realised something was suddenly wrong!

although... NO ONE ever knows what causes these problems - In the end we can see where the problem is/was - but HOW it happenend, no one knows... ever...

"This and this just happenend while I was working on my PC" - "Ok, what exactly did you do when the problem occured?" - "Nothing! it just happenend" - "You JUST said you were WORKING - so what. did. you. do?"

however, on the Dell-Website there is a diagnostics tool... but you can't select TouchPAD - only TouchSCREEN among all the other things...

(it says it takes about 10-40 minutes depending if it's a quick scan or a full-scan)

If you want to try this I just googled "Dell Inspiron 3537 Touchpad" and it was the first or second entry Saying "Support for 3537"

I don't like Touchpads in general... but shouldn't there be like a configuration menu for it - like for sensitivity and stuff? Maybe something screwed up in there - however I guess this would have been one of the first things you checked :/

Well I noticed it happen as I was on Skype, typing something back. The cursor kept jumping between letters, highlighting random text, and clicking off the text box at random. Confused, I went back on Youtube, where it all just went to heck, highlighting stuff, clicking when I didn't mean to and creating 20 new tabs, etc.

I don't know, I had been drinking a smoothie and a couple of droplets got onto the laptop. I dried them up, but I'm worried the water may have slipped through the keyboard and messed something up. But it didn't happen right away either. After I had dried the water up, I doodled something on SAI, and surfed the web without issue. :/

While I wasn't the biggest fan of touchpads either, I sort of got used to this, as this is more my personal room laptop and I don't have a proper desk, and just use it at my bed, hence why a mouse is sort of not idea for this whole situation. I draw sitting crouched over enough, I don't want to jank my posture having to do the same while using a mouse any more than I have to while using this, y'know?

  2. (if this is in the wrong topic feel free to move it and sorry!)

Oh BOY oh BOY my laptop decided to fart again. To it's credit, it hasn't been majorly obnoxious to use once I figured out its original main problem with internet connectivity (the drivers just needed to be updated) but, literally just tonight, my touchpad stopped working 100% properly. It's highlighting, dragging, and clicking on things while I'm simply swiping though pages, and sometimes fairly light pressure on the laptop itself causes it to highlight and do all that stuff.

I tried updating the touchpad drivers. Drivers were up to date. I tried turning the touchpad off and on again. Didn't fix it. I messed with sensitivity, even turned off 'tap to click' and it still did it. As a last resort, I decided I would turn on the wayback machine and hop back one driver update to see if that would fix it. Did the update, restarted my laptop, aaand... Suddenly, the entire touchpad driver was on. Couldn't do anything to fix it. While the touchpad worked, it was very sluggish and slow. I went onto the website, re-downloaded the proper driver, restarted, and it seemed fixed, but it continues to occasionally click and highlight at random. Tap to click is still off, too!

My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 3537. I honestly have no idea what happened to cause this.

  3. Hey uuh, since I heard some maybe rumors that Beldum was going to be pushed back some, I was planning on going to get it, but the fact that we apparently need a Tauros to get to it makes me a bit nervous? Cos there's definitely a little glitch with Tauros after beating episode 15 where you can't get off of them unless you enter buildings.

Someone please soothe my anxious mind and say it's not gonna bork my game.

  4. I use the save file manager someone in this forum created to manage my Reborn games now... does anyone know how that'd work when the new episode comes around? I'd probably not play Reborn for like 3 years, if not drop it entirely out of anguish, if I lost my main save.

  5. I think that pretty much confirms its ZEL. It could be Noel or Anna, but (if this person is going to die theoretically) unless their deaths were pretty good and meaningful that might just very well push me beyond the Titania Edge Threshold. Titania pushed the edginess of this game a bit for me, but if a child dies in a rather weak manner I'd be a bit annoyed. I appreciate Reborn for being dark, but never making me feel like its trying too hard (usually).

ZEL has potential though. I mean, we just found out about how they were fused together, so I can see it going either way with them. Either we manage to separate them apart so they can live a peaceful life again, or they die.

  6. If our main character died I'd drop this game like a hot potato.

I think someone might just be leaving. I mean, Ame said there wasn't as much plot as there was in the last few eps, so it's more of a breather episode. And if someone really is dying, I honestly have no real idea who it would be at this point. Aside from maybe Taka and some baddies.

  7. Lets gush about our amazing Pokemon in Reborn! Whether you're doing a type-themed run, a nuzlocke, or just enjoy vanilla Reborn, I wanna hear about your personal favorite victories.

    I'll start with mine!

I had been struggling against the Blake and Fern vs Player Character and Shelly battle. I was so frustrated because, ugh, ice types have never given me this sort of struggle before. My current strategy was, each time, slowly getting me closer to my victory. I was just hoping I'd get lucky at this point.

I felt like this battle was gonna just end in another reset, and was feeling so stubborn at this point that I sent my starter, Serperior, out against Blake's ice types. I think he had about 3 or 4 left. Weavile was one of them, I remember that much.

Shockingly, Serperior was able to survive Weavile, and strike it down with a Leaf Storm. And then, good ol Contrary took effect. Leaf Storm took out his next Pokemon, and then, suddenly, Cassius was invincible. Outspeeding, Giga Draining his health back, and to my eternal surprise, my grass type had beaten an ice type specialist.

<3 My boy, I'm so proud of you.

  8. Considering that E16 has been said to have less story than E15, I think we'll just be battling Adrienn.

However, it was said that one of the remaining episodes would have two gyms. If I had to guess, I'd say that would be E17 with the two leaders faced being Titania and Amaria.

That makes sense. I'll probably be busy checking out the brand new wards and the NPC's now that everything's better! No hurry on my part to get on with the plot... I feel like everyone could use a breather after so much Meteor stuff.

... I'll admit, I'm slightly fearful for when we hit level 100. Like... is there going to be anything beyond that? Cos with most of my team on the cusp of 80 per Ciel's level cap, 100 only seems a short ways away.

  9. I recently played vs Noel on an older episode, 10 I believe, and he was a lot tougher than his 15 counterpart. Charlotte was the bane of my team back when she was on her release episode. I played a new save file and literally ran through every gym leader (guess you can say I cheated cause I went back to an earlier episode to catch a zubat early on, which pretty much made the entire game easier) I am now doing side quests and event pokemon before 16 comes out.

Honestly I am of the group who are glad these guys got buffed. I mean, I'm sure I would have eventually beaten them anyways, but oi, Noel was a nightmare as he was now! I actually didn't have too much issues with Charlotte and beat her in like... 3 tries? I mostly fought fire with fire, and let the AI mess up so my Typhlosion could get an attack boost when they used a fire attack. Then I used explosion spam, + extrasensory and a few smoke screens.

  10. I'm a huge casual fan of Pokemon, and Reborn has made me want to tear out my hair lots of times. Noel, the Ice Gym Leader, and Ciel are specific examples that come to mind.

But I beat episode 15! And I was so proud. The community here was very helpful and without their advice in some of my most frustrated, salty moments, I probably would have given up. Even though these are nerfed from previous installments, I still feel proud of myself for overcoming the challenges.

I beat Noel on pure luck honestly. I changed my date so it wasn't a windy day bc screw that, let my Manectric take care of that hell-Swellow, then abused the hell out of my Noivern and contrary Serperior. Once my good ol boy Cassius gets a few Leaf Storms up, he's basically invincible and outspeeds everything and keeps his health with Giga Drain.

It took me five days to beat Ciel. One day of mounting frustration and losing hope. Three days grinding against a single NPC in Agate to train a brand new member and buff up the rest of my team. And another day to finally catch enough luck to outspeed, crit, and whittle her down. Then the Altaria thing happened and I said screw it, and brought along Perish Song Murkrow next time and FINALLY beat her.

The point is, don't give up! I know it sucks, I know you feel like the game is unfair and treating you badly, but you can do it. Maybe I could give some team advice?

  11. What about Blake? I mean we didn't get to see him all that much, admittedly, but what we saw I'd say warrants at least a nomination to the Scrappy spot. The only thing that I like about him is that he's an Ice-type trainer and...that's it, really.

Let's see...being an all-around douche when you're around him, being quite an asshole to Cal (Whom I started to warm up to during the Ametrine arc, even if I don't quite forgive him for what happened on Pyrous). I think it's more his implied badness and his attitude just rubs me the wrong way.

I mean I can probably see why he might not get a spot (We didn't get to see a lot of him, only Ametrine and the attack on Fiore Mansion), but I'd like to at least see him considered.

I dunno, I feel like Blake would also be more of a Hate Sink character. We're most certainly not supposed to like him in any way, and the game makes no attempt to do anything else but make him a jerk you'd want to hyper-beam off of Ametrine Mountain.

Would Fern be a Jerk Jock? ...Y'know, cos, he's a Swag Jockey.

  12. Fern would technically count as a Hate Sink character. A character we're supposed to put all of our hate towards.

I, however, completely agree with Titania being a base breaker. I'm with you on that, everything about her irks me. I'll admit, I'm a bit more forgiving for Saphira, but I also understand why she could count as one, too. Another reason I don't like Titania personally is also her breakage of the 4th wall wayyyy early in the game, where she apprently bought a journal for only one reason, and that is to write down a 4th wall breaking snark on the off CHANCE that someone might actually try and read it. That clashed with the tone of the game for me, too.

EDIT: Also I nominate Terra as Base Breaker. Some people love the memes and some people think they clash with the atmosphere of the game.

I fully second this motion to. Oh good god it felt so good to absolutely wreck her with my Serperior when I got to battle her. I couldn't stand Terra, personally.

  13. You better believe it, you don't want to see the state of some of those betas (againnooffenseAmeeveryonemakesmistakesmistakesarenaturalIlyplsdon'tkillme). The post beta product is definitely more polished.

Do you guys just go around, talking to every NPC, and interacting with literally everything else to try and weed out the bugs and hoping you don't run into a game-breaking one? That sounds kinda hilarious.

  14. Hate to drag the discussion off topic for a moment, but I'm just hopping in to give a casual reminder to everyone. It's been a while since our last release and we've gained a lot of new members since then (welcome, by the way, if I haven't ever greeted you). Now, I want to let you guys know that once the status reaches 100%, that does not mean the episode is immediately released. After reaching 100%, the developers participate in a brief alpha test before shipping the beta off to our ace members. After the completion of the beta testing, then Episode 16 will be shipped out to the community to sift through the remaining bugs. After that's finished, Episode 16 will be put on the downloads page for everyone to use.

Additionally, following the community release, the forums and server will be placed under a one-month spoiler lock to prevent spread of game spoilers immediately. For more information on the spoiler-lock, I recommend checking out this gem.

Oh, I see! Well thank you for letting us know, that's quite kind of you. quick question: How long does this typically take? :o
