Are you playing on Reborn v18.2? If yes, check if you have a file named AAA in your "Mods" folder. If you do, delete it and try again.

Open the game, go to settings and change the Max Backup value from 0 to whatever.

If you are on windows, go to Your PC - C Disk - Users - "Your Name" - Saved Games - Pokemon Rejuvenation - Then copy the "Game.rxdata" file into the exact same location on your new PC.

Did you update the game in one of the areas mentioned here?
Do not load up in these locations:
- GDC Interiors
- Dream District Exteriors
- Odd Path
- Route 9
- Odd Tower
- Darchlight Manor (Backyard)
If the answer is no, try downloading the game again as some game components can be corrupted over downloads.

Does the last episode include retroactive changes to the game itself we should wait for before starting a final run of it?
Or would our saved runs enjoy all that is being added to the fullest, already?I suggest doing a completely new playthrough as it will be the final version of the game and minor changes are usually applied to early-game instances.

As Kithas said above, changing the form parameter from 0 to 1/2 (if it has multiple other forms) should do the trick.

there is a link item obtained mid-way through the game before blackview city, just outside the small town. (Where there's an elder talking about trading)

The shiny rate is lower than Reborn and Rejuvenation, though I don't recall what percent exactly. You can find a guide for speeding up the game in the link below.

So I decided to play this game and I wanted to soft reset for a shiny starter. Usually when I shiny hunt, I always watch videos and such so I won't get easily with shiny hunting. You can also mute the game in the volume mixer. (Right click on sound in the taskbar)

Also, It says that Munchlax is in Nectar Woods, where is that? All I see In Honec Woods - All I need is leftovers.
Try interacting with the flute inside his house, that is how I got it if I remember correctly.

Also, not sure if it's a known bug, but you can bypass the level cap if you just put your capped Pokemon in the daycare center. However, it only works when the Pokemon is with the daycare couple. Once it is returned to you, it stops gaining any experience.
That shouldn't be a bug as I think you can bypass the cap via rare candies.

If the route 9 music and wild music are working properly, I'd recommend downloading the game again as music files tend to get corrupted in the downloading process from time to time.
