  1. Some of them have already been showcased, and it's awesome! More awesome than the default, I say. Plus, the new Reborn City will be beautiful (bye-bye gloomy Reborn City, although I still want to see 7th street). Plus, like what have said before, Ep. 16 is more about sidequests than story, looking forward for how Ame torture us with the sidequest (Tech Glasses, ugh..)~

  2. I love snowy area~ Nice progress as always, Dylan! Hopefully my poor PC is still able to run this game without frustrating lag. I experienced lag with Uranium and with how complex this game will be I'm kinda worried about the lag. Don't worry though, it's highly probably due to my poor PC. Anyway, looking forward for more progress ^^

  3. A beautiful field for my favorite character, Anna ^^ Well, it's not confirmed yet but still.. This field is my favorite now!

    Also, 'goodbye' for certain character, hmm..iirc Florinia still suffers from that poison...oh no!

  4. Well, it's more ironic if A-Raichu can't learn Surf. Well, this confirms that Alolan Forms has different TM/HM (if HM is completely removed, then bye Surf) compatibility, at least for now. Hmm, that means even though they don't get stat boost, some of them will get more coverage moves than their usual forms. These match well with Professor Kukui's research in Pokemon Moves aside from the Z-Move.

    For Wishiwashi, let's hope that it is this gen Magikarp/Feebas. They can evolve into something badass on its own with different ability, but pre-evo is still usable with Eviolite.

    As for Team Skull, I'm not going to have a high expectation from GameFreak. Just bring back the stories to the same level as Gen 5 and that's enough, I suppose.

  5. Steel/Flying with Lightning Rod, what? That's awesome! Although, it's a bit overpowered with that Sp.Def and Iron Defense. Well, the final evolution don't form a cycle, I guess that's intended? Actually, I'd really like to see 9 starters with three cycles: Water/Grass/Fire ; your Rock/Flying/Fighting ; and a third one. All of them will be dual-typed so we have all starters covering all types.

    Also, ghost starter wooohooo, I love ya!

  6. Just put them in spoiler tags and it's fine, at least for me. Also, I noticed that there are some inconsistencies with the style of the tiles you are using. My suggestion is to be carefully chosen so they have similar styles each other. For example, some of the tiles is borderless while some has borders. So, try to edit them, if you feel want to.

    Well, having a progress report will help people to get the idea the progress of the game and building the hype, but that's not a priority for me. Plus, progress report can be an additional pressure sometimes. The good thing about a progress report is that you can tease your audience with the percentage, which add more live to the thread XD

    Tbh the reason I prefer games with episodes to one full game is because it's nice to see the development of the game from their early stage, then the old content get new update together with new stories. Seeing the developer grows their skill as more episodes progress is one of the reason I prefer fan-games to official ones. This is apparent with Reborn and Rejuvenation. But again, the decision is yours. This game will be different from any fan-game either, so no matter how long it takes it'll be awesome, I'm sure.

  7. So things that I don't like on Pokemon Reborn, eh? First is the lag, which is no surprise regarding the scale of maps and events. The lack of easy transportation make this worse. I hope future version can make it better which is on progress to alleviate the lag.

    Next is just my personal taste. Sometimes traveling through Reborn feels so lonely. Even with the amount of characters, it feels that what everyone cares just themselves or their love. I never feel to be close with certain character in the game (some of them have awesome character though) which is intended to give the atmosphere of gloomy Reborn City, I guess. The fact that Reborn City is recently under apocalypse doesn't make it better. However with the new Reborn under development, I hope all the suffering and lonely feel are paid off. It'll be nice to experience reborn "Reborn City".

    First post :) so I just beat all those dexoy things and got back to oceana pier and found the that weird dude that likes to dance in route 3 and beat him (lol forgot his name completely) then I talked to the chick on the route and she said where to go next but unfortunately I spammed through the text too fast and have no clue where to go next... Any help is greatly appreciated

    Welcome to the forum ^^. Well, from your description, I believe you want to find Crawli. Go back to Oceana Pier and talk to Augustus (Melia and Aelita will also be there)

  9. I once thought a mushroom cave full of spores for field effect with the field having the effect of "Powder" move (Vivillon's signature move). That way Fire-moves won't work (damaging the user instead) plus Flying moves get weakened since it's in a cave. Imagine this field also grants priority to powder moves. Well, the point is any type can be made OP due to field effects ^^

    Anyway, I'm looking for the continuation of Narcissa sidequest. I wonder if it will involve the use of 'time-travel' crystal~

  10. Aside from attack animation, I prefer sprites....for now. The 3D models has dull colors and many old Pokemon don't look right with 3D models. Gen 5 Pokemon's animation also shows more personality aside from not-so-clean animation. However, newer Pokemon is well-suited with the 3D models so I guess when the number of Pokemon has reached one thousand (perhaps less), we (the weirdos) will enjoy the 3D model not only because the number but perhaps once they reach that number the current 3D model is remade with better quality, similar with models from Pokken, eh?

    However from fan-game developing perspective, I think that having battlers with 3D models and the whole other things in sprites is not a good idea. The 3D models looks nice in official games but for fan-games, with the currently available resources, sprites fit better.

  11. Hmm..that's weird since you are already try using v16. To make them work you have to have the data for the abilities in PBS files like you have already said and have the scripts to define how each ability works. These scripts is already implemented in v16. If you intend to use v15.1, try to follow the instruction on pokecommunity:

    The first post is intended for Essentials v16, the second post is for Essentials v15.1 (in spoiler tag by mej71). The second post has the download link for the scripts but since you already have tried v16 and it's still doesn't work, I have no idea what's wrong here.
